Hello everyone! My name is Fezzy, and today I am opening up a unique offer to starting developers.
I run a small Towny-survival server called Towny Legends. It's a semi-vanilla server with Towny, Jobs, Ranks, Economy and more. Server runs from a custom-built core (similar to Essentials) which I have created to handle things from playtime ranks to selling items.
Average Player count is around 3-10, closer to 10 on weekends.
Recently, over the last month or so, I have created a Zombie Horde minigame (similar to Mob Arena) that I will also need to maintain and continue creating features for.
Between maintaining both of these projects, as well as managing the server itself and wanting to add more features in the future, I am worried I will not be able to continue doing everything for the server without burning out.
This is where you'd come in! Now full disclosure- the server is only 3 months old, and not yet making enough money for me to bring on a full-time paid developer. However! If you are a newer, less experienced developer, this will be a great opportunity to get real-world experience and practice with collaborative coding in a team setting!
Even if you have super basic Java/Minecraft knowledge, that's okay! As long as you have a decent grasp of Java (know what variables are, methods, statements, etc) I am willing to teach you about Minecraft development, and show you how to do things like make your first command, or register an event!
Also! This position would be unpaid at the start. However, once you have started to work a bit and get a feel for the server and infrastructure, this could very well lead to a paid position! I don't intend on having you work tons of hours and not get compensated! Once you are up and running and developing on a more consistent basis, I WILL be paying you either weekly or biweekly!
If this seems at all interesting to you, or looking for more overall/server information, let me know! Discord is Nard#1033 Thanks
