Our Story:
We love close-knit communities that come with vanilla servers. We hate when those servers get shut down because the owner gets bored and walked away.
In 2014, we did something about it! MinecraftLovers was created by a group of users who met on various other servers that all shut down - and we wanted to create a place where we can keep playing and building forever. After going strong for 8 years, we have no sign of slowing down, with tons of friends who have joined since!
Semi Vanilla?
Semi-Vanilla means we are not overloaded with tons of new game mechanics, but we do have some basic Quality of Life improvements over vanilla gameplay (like being able to return to your base from anywhere at any time, and the ability to improve your skills the more you use them). If you only have experience playing vanilla, you'll fit in just fine. If you like playing on servers with plugins, you can find our list here:

More About Us:
- We've been around forever, mostly casual players. You probably will not find more than 10 people online at a time
- ...but we have dedicated server hardware that we scale up and down as we get busy
- No ranks or special perks. After you've been a member for a year, you gain the ability to fly
- Friendly staff who are usually around to help with any questions
- Average server age is somewhere around 24 years old.
- We have many EPIC builds thanks to our longevity - if you have a dream, you can build it here
- We have monthly events posted to our website (minecraftlovers.com) and discord channel
- And we love Minecraft!
How To Join
There are three ways you can join us:
- Apply on our website - minecraftlovers.com (there is an application form on the right side of every page)
- Reply to this thread - Our staff stays updated on this thread and accepts applications regularly (just post your username and one thing you've always wanted to build)
