Wait wait wait, not to be rude or anything... but who would commission a 15 year-old person to put together a 15,000$ build for them?
Excuse me? Age has nothing to do with it, there are plenty mature 14 and 15 year olds that can build PCs. I'm 14 and have built my own rig, build my parents office PC's and also done many PC's for my community.

This is funny, a noob vs a person who does computer stuff for a living. fm87 hasn't said an invalid thing yet, OC'ing your monitor is mostly just for e-peen..

I loved my old 8500GT, it's old and sucked, but it's lasted me almost 7 years now I think, running strong like a beast.

Go SLI titans, it'd be better than 680's from having more VRAM, and also it does much better with calculations than a 680.

I know it's not the same motherboard, but I've had some CPU power delivery problems on my ASUS P8Z77-V LK. Doesn't like going over 1.3v, tried it with a different CPU too. :/

I actually might look into one of these, I have the money and I don't care about it being extreme overkill. But if I do, I'd put a waterblock on it ASAP, those squirrel cage fans look like .

My 2012 black is silent. One thing I find is much better with WD over Seagate is warranty.. If your drive fails every 4-5 years you basically have a lifetime warranty.

I OC my i5 2500k to 5GHz, it renders a lot of stuff so the extra GHz helps a fair bit. H100i keeps it cool pretty well too, 70C tops with my fans at 1000RPM. Voltage is pretty good too, 1.38v, and my CPU is stable in Prime95, did a 36 hour test.

This is odd that it is locking up. Those temps are normal for full load on the card. Sadly, I don't haven't experienced this, and I don't want to give false information, so I'll have to hand this off to someone else.

Well, you won't be able to play Crysis 3 on max settings. I have a I5 3570k overclocked to 4Ghz, and a HD7970 overclocked to the highest and it felt laggy when i was playing the beta. I'm not quite sure about the framerate i'm guessing 40-60.
    Weird, on my 670 I got about 60FPS minimum the entire time, averaged 70ish, and I have an i5 2500k @ 4.8GHz.

Get MSI Afterburner, and detach the monitoring window. Expand it to take up all of your screen vertically. Take a screenshot and upload somewhere.
Also is your card the ref 7850 or the Twin Frozr 7850?

Seasonic only makes some Corsair PSUs. I know the CX are way below the quality standard of the corsair seasonic PSUs, and man others are also made by different OEMs, though not necessarily lower quality.
I don't even count the CX series as a true PSU, it's obviously their lower end of the line. I know it isn't the best for the budget but get a TX650 or something.

Yeah, seasonic only makes some Corsair PSUs.
The decent ones, and then another OEM makes the "i" line of PSU's which are still top quality.

    Maybe Corsair

Maybe Corsair? They are just rebranded SeaSonic PSUs, which is the highest quality PSU you can get.

I'd recommend Corsair for any PSU, or SeaSonic. Either are top quality.
