What’s your previous server experience (e.g. any previous bans)? -- Primarily played on vanilla servers, was a mod on one for a year or two. Was banned from first server because me and half the mods left to form our own server, which I then played/modded on for another year or two on and off. Haven't played regularly in quite some time and am really enjoying single player atm but want to get back into the social minecraft community.
Why are you looking to join our server? -- New, Vanilla, seems friendly from the post.
How active will you be? -- multiple days per week, usually play after 6pm until 1-2am. Weekend, no idea. Could be all day or not at all. Depends on what I am doing.

Tell me about yourself and your experience with Minecraft: Started with beta 1.7 b/c of the redstone update. Knew about the game but didnt play before that. As an engineer, redstone really interested me.
What aspect of the game are you good at? (Building, Redstone, etc.) Collecting junk/sharing said junk. Mediocre at best with redstone but if ya need a hidden door I am your man(I don't build jeb doors, I blend them in with the environment.)

Usually play from 8:30-11:30(ish)PM EST after classess (homework pending). I currently have the flu or a cold Banana (I'm not a doctor) and drnak half a bottle of nyquil so sorry if anything there doesnt make sense. Should there be a starting town or not? Sure! Or atleast a tiny place set up for new people, maybe a farm with alittle mine and a chest with stone picks and some food
Should players start with basic items or not? If so what should they start with? Sorta answered that one, a few pieces of food and a stone pick, if you give armor its over powered. The food just lets you get right into finding a nice location to settle down in
