Why do I want to join you?: Well it's kind of a long story. You see, I've been actively looking for a nice smaller community-oriented server for a long time now (about 6 months? Can't remember exactly), but most of them just turn out to be unactive or even unfriendly and close in about a month after opening. I adore Minecraft, can't seem to get enough of it to be honest, even though I've been playing since Alpha.
How do I feel about joining a MC family?: I'd love it. This is exactly the thing I've been looking for these past months.
Skills: I'd most probably categorize myself as a builder, since I'd at least like to think that I'm not utter crap at it. Redstone is something I'm not very familiar with - I mean, I can get things done but in a very slow and backwards way. Also for some reason I enjoy doing very menial but time-wasting tasks - quarrying (manually digging gigantic holes), large scale deforesting, terraforming large landmasses etc.
A little about myself: To be honest, I'm terribly shy. I'm very quiet at first, usually sticking to myself, never really settling down anywhere until I find the right place to build. However I tend to warm up after I get to know the playerbase a bit more. Now if this is something that's completely unacceptable, then I understand completely if you reject this application.
I enjoy Minecraft for it's simplicity and the fact that you can do anything the mind can come up with. I've been playing since the very beginning and haven't gotten bored yet, surprisingly. There's just so much to do and so much to see. I'm also very into mineralogy, the English language (extremely nerdy, I know) and like to tinker with woodworking a bit.

Why do you want to join Mighty Mooshroom?: To be honest here, I've been looking for a nice, close-knit server for months upon end. On numerous occasions the servers I play on just cease to exist after a while, or they just get griefed to oblivion (which is why I hope this one'll be different). I adore Minecraft's simplicity, and would definitely like to keep on playing it. Sadly, this is being made harder and harder each day, because of the sudden influx of horrible-terrible, badly thought out, craptastic and most definitely not mature servers. Long story short, I believe this is what I've been looking for for the last few months.
What is your favorite thing to do in Minecraft?: I enjoy building infrastructure (roads, walls, mines) and inns for some reason. Even weirder, I'm extremely fond of just simple tasks - woodcutting, quarrying, farming etc.
Tell us about yourself IRL : To be honest, I'm rather shy. I tend to stick to myself at first, but most probably warm up to something in a while (If this happens to be the breaking point of this application, I understand completely). I'd like to believe that I'm also rather empathic and that I try to help out wherever and whenever I can. Also, I try to be as honest as I can.
I enjoy geology (the collecting and determining aspect is what appeals to me most), the English language (kind of a strange thing to like, but still. I just love the rhythm and flow of it) and well, from time to time I like to practice some carpentry and the like.
How active will you be?: Very active. I've been wanting to get back to minecraft in a while, so the urge to play is great indeed!
Why do you think Minecraft still appeals to you?: As mentioned before, I enjoy the simplistic aspect of Minecraft and of course the freedom to build whatever the mind thinks up. I've been playing since the beginning of Alpha and I just can't seem to get enough of it for some reason.
What can you bring to the server?: Bah, never really know how to answer these.
I'd say I try to help any and all I can. Also, I could theoretically help out with builds and such (here's a teeny tiny link to a previous build I made: http://imgur.com/a/4jcAz ). I'd probably start setting up a trading system between players if they'd be up for it, but that's just wishful thinking at the moment.
