Kira shrugged, seeming content with his response. Blowing a bubble with her gum, she leaned over, shaking his hand. She seemed to have calmed down quickly, her smile returning. She popped her gum once before yawning, lifting a hand to muffle it slightly.
"Right. Well, I'm Kira, you are?" she asked, head tilting to the side.
Eight? I don't look like I'm eight, do I? Kira's smile quickly faded as he said this and as this thought passed through her mind, slowly being replaced with an irritated expression. Angrily popping another piece of gum in her mouth, she sat like a normal person. Leaning forward, the little girl glared daggers at the older boy, hands on her hips.
"Eight? Uh, no. I'm ten, thank you very much! I'm practically a teenager, so I can handle myself! I don't have anyone with me because I don't need one. I'm strong, see!?" she half-yelled this, voice getting louder towards the end. As she ended, Kira flexed the little muscle she had, though she seemed proud of it. With that, she nodded and sat criss-cross once again.

After about a minute of just sitting there, Kira went to go spit out her gum. Once she got back, she nodded as no one had taken her seat. She plopped down on the seat, sitting criss-cross and grinning wide. The train stopped a couple times, people crowding onto the train around her. Not even ten minutes later, someone sat across from her and asked her where her parents were. Smiling, she leaned forward a bit towards the boy, who looked to be somewhere around seventeen.
"Oh, my parents are at home," Kira said, as if this were the most normal thing in the world.

Kira's eyes sparkled as she stared up at the train, a broad grin stretching across her face. After a minute or two of just standing there, staring, the young girl gathered her things and dashed into the train. Not long after, the train began once again. Chuckling, Kira wandered between the cars, looking for a nice place to sit, or at least something to eat. Popping a peice of gum into her mouth, she sat down at a nice seat not far from where she entered the train. Leaning back, Kira chuckled softly,hands behind her head, legs crossed.
Skills: She's smart for her age, and can be persuasive. Also, she can make the best macaroni and cheese you've ever had.
Equipment: A red pokédeck, a pack of gum, and a small bag to put pokéballs and other things in.
Bio: Kira grew up with an older brother and sister. Being the youngest, she, of course, got picked on the most. Not that she cared much, as she usually tuned them out. As for her parents, her mom worked at a pokémon hospital while her dad was a groomer. Her brother trained to be a gym leader while her sister tried to become a groomer. Kira wanted to be a gym leader or at least a known trainer.
When Kira started nearing her current age, she starting telling her parents about wanting to be a trainer. So, by the time she turned ten, she was ready. Her parents sent her on her way- they weren't the brightest, honestly. - and she went to get a pokémon of her own.
