    Hello,

I am making a small private modpack, and I was wondering If I could please use your mod for it.

    Thanks!

    Read the main thread. -_-

So far I have not been able to find any original content in your pack. Could you please specify what you have edited/created, either from images that you own or have been given the right to use and/or made from scratch by you. As it stand right now, you claim to have done/edited everything apart from the night sky?

The community members postinbg on threads similar to this, lacking usage rights etc, certainly don't enjoy doing so. The first reason as to why we inform people is to help them clear all the legal issues, else their thread will get closed or worst case is they get banned.
Next, it's to get rid of threads that contribute nothing but copy pasted material of someone elses work, and insist on having their thread bumped/at the top of that forum section. The last reason is that the whole community wants to see new content and/or original ideas as to inspire them. Artists borrow ideas from other artists all the time, at least I do...

So please provide us with a list or directions so that we know what you want critiqued/praised.

I'm sorry but this thread should be locked. You're blatantly using textures from another pack without gaining permission to do so after it is EXPLICITLY stated in the thread that you're stealing the textures from that you're NOT allowed to use the textures without permission.

To top that off you're being rude to everyone explaining how what you're doing is wrong. My advice to you would be to remove the downloads until you have something that is actually your own work that is ready for people to download. Either that or I'll get hold of a mod to lock the thread until such time as you're ready to post your own stuff.

    I have, so far, completed:
    1. 6 animated shooting star arrays,
    2. 2 North Star arrays,
    3. Clouds,
    4. Skybox,
    5. Moon,
    6. Moon phases.
Second of all, I do have most of it as my own work, and I'm only replying rudely to those who are being as rude to me in the first place. Also, the above listed were either by my own computer work or images taken from my camera, which can zoom in to 20x.

Finally, the only placeholders currently in effect are those from Dokucraft: The Saga Continues, all placeholders, of which, are currently not included in the download, but more rather, in a folder on my desktop for when I get around to that specified part.

I am very sorry you don't speak English but that's not our problem, if you can't effectively communicate with people on this forum I would recommend you find a different one better suited to you, or learn English so you can communicate with us.

You keep asking for proof that it was stolen material. First off let me say that the maker of this mod already admitted that they were placeholders and he provided no credit for them. This is by definition stolen textures. If you want proof read his posts. Second off, no one cares enough to link you to proof of where these stolen textures came from because the majority of people in this community know perfectly well where these textures came from without anyone needing to provide proof.

The author of this pack has already stated that this was a mistake, I urge of to stop embarrassing yourself on the Internet by defending the mistakes of someone who has already admitted it. Let's all just stop replying to this thread so the texture pack community doesn't have a state of perpetual argument on the front page of the forum.

I did accredit them, but I took it out when I realized I had left the placeholders in and removed them accordingly. Even so, pushing foreign people off the only official forum is retarded. There's not many other forums out there that are as good, or even close, so let them stay as they are. You can easily understand what he means to say, if you just think about the context and not read every word as it is, in it's current state.

    Example:

    muchas gracias!

    Translation:

if you have evidence that this person plagiarized the work of another, if you have proof ... WHERE ARE THEY? teach!

if not ... to SHUT UP! mouth at once! quietly beautiful and so are you more haceis no more the RIDICULOUS!

    -

@] Fafeman, I hope you continue your work with this mod and do not listen to these STUPID!, Want to see this mod finished, I use your mod

    thank you very much!

    Translation with context:

If you have evidence that this person plagiarized the work of someone else, if you have proof, WHERE IS IT?! Tell me!

If there is not, then SHUT UP! Shut your mouth at once! It is quite beautiful and so you are more hacéis, no more RIDICULOUSNESS!

    -

@] Fafeman, I hope you continue your work with this mod and do not listen to these IDIOTS! I want to see this mod finished, I will use your mod.

    Thank you very much!

Finally, I'd like to say yes. Google Translate is terrible for perfect translations. There are bound to be hundreds of errors, but it is at least legible and literate.

If this is legible and readable then you and Claudio are the only literate people on the forums. If you two really think we're all stupid, illiterate liars then maybe you should find a forum with a community more to your liking. I wish you and your pack the best of luck but your not going to get a good reaction from this community with a texture pack made entirely of placeholders that you may or may not have permission to use.

    *clap* *clap* *clap*

    *sigh*
a ) I didn't mean to leave any placeholders in, I was just rushing to get it up, as school is starting back up.
b ) I did do quite a bit of work, and I'm quite blatantly done arguing with you nimrods.
c ) If you are having trouble reading comments with terrible grammar, then get off the internet. I presume, from experience, that around 70% of the internet is made up of either illiterates, idiots, or people who just don't care about anything everyone else has to say.

Finally, I'm going to start ignoring your comments again to avoid a flame war over stupid things that you bring up and loop constantly and repeatedly, so forum moderators don't get irritated at our constant bickering. This community is supposed to be consisted of friendly people who just want to have fun on a video game. That's hard to achieve with pessimistic and annoying people who just try to point you out for a single mistake. Constructive criticism or help is fine, but just doing it to get a thread taken down for a mere accident is quite rude and idiotic, in my opinion. Good day, and good bye.

You are the only one saying nonsense here actually. Saying random flames like you know everything and we know nothing. Also, I did not understand half of your paragraph, please be more clear.

Then you truly are illiterate. It may be out of grammatical context, but it is still legible and quite readable nonetheless.

This is pretty cool but I do not see improvements no more. So what are you up to now? Can you make a cloud mod?

PS sorry for all the dorks that are on your post please still work on it.

I'm not going to continue working on this, seeing as how people reacted to my usage of a placeholder, and even so, I'm getting back into school so I wouldn't be working on it anyways.

If you want it to become more popular, you could try releasing a big PvP map, using this resource pack, and trying for some publicity from Youtubers. That usually works.

Well, I couldn't find the custom sky textures from the original dokucraft, so it probably belongs to the continuation pack, which what WatterTipper said, you can't use without permission.

I'm not even going to continue to argue, as all you're doing is repeating the same thing over and over.

I think I may be dealing with a bunch of illiterates.

    http://www.minecraft...25-free-to-use/

Emphasis on the "free-to-use" part of the title.

Also, I do recall Doku once having a statement on his original Doku's RPG pack that said you could use the textures as long as your credited him for the use of said textures.

Either way, there are no textures from other packs anymore, so you can't really complain.

Really? These are the night sky textures of both packs.

I don't think you can read.

The night sky is currently what I'm trying to improve, as the cloudbox is incomplete, and these are placeholders. Also, I did credit Dokucraft accordingly, and will proceed to replace the placeholders once I have enough time to finish the cloudbox for day and night.

You cut my statement off, so your point is invalid.

Credits to Doku and Dokucraft for their texture placeholders.

Also, because you are starting a dispute over this, I will remove all downloads and reupload without placeholders.

Just tested it. Really cool. I'm pretty sure you got the day time clouds from inspiration though. I'd give credit. ;P

Here's some screens for people that want them:

    Quote from Itsoo1

    That's dokucraft's sky.

Yes, it's the cloud side layer of Dokucraft, but not Inspiration. The night sky is currently what I'm trying to improve, as the cloudbox is incomplete, and these are placeholders. Also, I did credit Dokucraft accordingly, and will proceed to replace the placeholders once I have enough time to finish the cloudbox for day and night.

I have 4 GB of RAM so I don't think its the memory problem but any suggestions will help.
    Thanks,

    -T

You have 4GB of RAM, yes, but your computer takes up some of that in the background. Try opening Task Manager and going to 'Performance' to see how much you have free, on average. Also, a 'Classic' environment won't work with Forge.

Also, I am now seeing that a lot of others are having the same "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch" error as me, and I haven't been able to find someone who knows the issue and the logs don't tell me enough to determine the immediate issue. I installed it via the launcher, installer, and manually. I hate 1.6 because of the new launcher making it much more difficult to install the simplest of mods, and it is, quite blatantly, extremely irritating, to say the least.
