Loving the service! Honestly, technology is not perfect and I have run into some bugs here and there but every issue or ticket I ever had and submitted was resolved quickly and professionally! I even upgraded my plan because it's really inexpensive and I wanted to provide an even better experience for my fellow players.
The control panel is a bit daunting at first to someone who has never hosted before but just like anything new I encounter, I dug around and figured out what everything did until I got the hang of it!
One issue I do have that isn't with functionality or detrimental to my service, and that is more communication across multiple platoforms, like Facebook, Twitter, and so on. ESPECIALLY when there is known downtime/errors, but even just to help with advertising, promoting, etc. this does lead me to say that the website needs finishing! I know you guys might be a bit small, or only so many but keeping track of common issues, a wider FAQ, and so on, will be great and maybe help even reduce the amount of tickets (not to say there are a lot cause I don't know).
All in all - really happy with the host. Please keep up the great work folks
Server has been down all day. Submitted a ticket around 12 noon today (EST) and no response yet. Usually I get fast responses, but this is a bit concerning.
I have to admit, I'd love to see more communication across the website, forums, and social media platforms when there's known downtime, common issues, etc.
The website is sorely in need of updating, or needs to be finished. I've been impressed with the speed of replies until today. I know you all are small group still and relatively new but please don't let me down now...
Yeah to be honest, we run Feed The Beast: Yogcraft on our server and FTB can be pretty hefty, mod-wise. 99% of the time, everything is smooth sailing, no issues. I've only had one major issue happen and it was taken care of super fast and honestly, it benefited us in the end.
Control panel is pretty easy to use, and monitoring the server is simple. Price wise, HostBlaze got me the most for my money compared to the other hosting options I was scoping out. I'm satisfied with everything so far and I know things happen, issues crop up. No host is perfect. Technology for sure is not perfect, so I have a lot more patience.
The only thing I would say is that I would like to see more communication across their various platforms (Twitter, Facebook, website announcements etc.) where there's known outages and issues. Otherwise, no complaints here.
Is the Multi-Craft control panel down right now? I can't seem to load it up, keeps giving me an error in Chrome saying can't find page.
Edit: It's still down as of 1pm EST and there have been no announcements or anything to state what's happening. I don't know if this is affecting the server at all since I'm at work and can't login to check, but I would like to be able to monitor the server while I'm away.
Alright, I'm really excited! I just got started with this host and it looks great from the control panel. Simple enough. I did some shopping around before I decided on HostBlaze.
My question is now, what steps do I take to run Yogcraft from this new server. I see in the control panel where it asks me to choose from a drop down list of vanilla MC, FTB and so on and some other options. I'm sorry if this is a question meant for the actual host support or forums, but I thought I would ask here.
This is and always will be my favorite texture pack. I've been using another since 1.2 came out and it's just not the same!
Looking forward to your update for 1.2 - keep up this amazing texture pack, I'm so fussy about textures and I just can't keep them for long. Basico and this one are just awesome.
Simooo, thanks so much for updating! I just love SPC. It's the first mod I ever tried and I've been using it ever since I stumbled upon it, and it works so well with other mods (most of them) so kudos!
