    Alright. I'll read up.

EDIT: I read most of everything, and I was wondering what writing exactly needs to be done, or what I could help with.

The sound of his feet against gravel was like skulls being crushed.

It was midnight, and not a soul dared to awake. The twilight, misty with anticipation, began to lighten. It was a thriving city, a branch of Dregan Taas, and also the second most populated city in all of Traeda. It is a shame that the outpost had to be in the way of the hooded man.

The Nameless one seemed to hover above the ground as he ambled his way to the center of town. The few people who saw him in the night would have him as their last sight. Standing at the center of town, the hooded man seemed to mutter an ancient language under his breath. His voice was deep, arid, and gravely. His hands began to glow a bright white. The aura of the man seemed to emanate throughout the world. In a single second, the town of Bristwol was a crater in the ground, lost forever in time. Floating in the center of the madness, where the ground used to be, the hooded man hovered. ?Now to Dregan.?

Dregan Taas was a day?s travel from Bristwol, but with his super-human speed, the journey took no more than mere seconds. The city, in all its glory, stood tall against the will of the man. The stone walls, cracked and dull with age, contrasted the foggy morning sky. Walking up to the main portcullis, he knew today would be his day to rule. The man quietly entered the city without arousing suspicion, as it would take hours for a runner to deliver news of Bristwol?s extermination. The man proceeded to carefully maneuver his way to the central castle, the palace that held the emperor.
At the foot of the colossal iron door, the hooded man uttered a few words. ?Isthhar Magnaron Lintalos.? The hooded man turned into pure energy. He walked right into, and through, the door. Once on the inside, another spell was emitted from his essence. ?Lokie Caladra Opankow." Returned to his ?human? form, the hooded man continued his venture through the palace. Two guards standing at the sides of the door, looking at the interior of the palace, took seconds to notice the man whom had passed through the door silently.

"Oi! How in blue blazes did you jolly well get in here?" The short, young guard on the left hollered, startled.

"Yeah! You just appeared!" The second one said, while raising his iron-tipped spear, pointing it at the man.

"Put your weapons down" replied the hooded man casually, his voice deep, gravelly and smooth.

"We-We have authority to kill anyone who trespasses!" The first guard called back.

"I don't think you have the guts." The hooded man lifted his arm, turned his palm straight up, a pale white palm. A small ball of flame appeared in his hand, floating there. "I know for certain you don't know what I can do."

The palace entry was littered with ash, and with one guard ripped in half, his entrails spread across the floor, covered in soot. The second guard was left with only his feet and the stub of bones that were exposed. Some small internal explosion left the rest of him scattered around the room. ?I didn?t want to do that. They were just in my way. They interfered with the plan.?

Making his way through the palace, the hooded man had to kill several more guards before he was at the door of the Emperor. Word had spread throughout the palace and his door was barricaded shut. "I hate doing the same thing twice, but whatever" the hooded man said, seemingly to himself. "Isthhar Magnaron Lintalos!" Again, the man walked right through the door. "Lokie Caladra Opankow." He said under his breath, careful not to alert the Emperor by his voice. Once again in his normal form, he found himself in the Emperor?s private chamber.

"You! No! It cannot be you!" said a hardy, stout and full voice, whose face was unseen.

"Show yourself, coward!" The hooded man replied.

    "Never!"

"I guess I?ll just have to destroy this place just like I did with Bristwol"

"You WHAT? What did you do to Bristwol? My family lives there!"

"It is a crater now. Your corrupt family will plague no one with their propaganda no more.? The hooded man replied. ?I am here now to take over your place as Emperor and fix this pathetic excuse for an empire you have been running. Now show yourself, or should I just destroy Dregan Taas while you hide behind the third bookshelf from the right? I can see the lever from here."

A small shuffling noise came from behind the wall and with the flip of the lever on the inside, the wall opened to reveal the Emperor himself. Dressed from head to toe in a black sleeping robe, the Emperor was an old, sickly man with a face pruney with wrinkles. His hair was black, thin, and receding. He had a small black goatee and thick, full eyebrows. Any second the man could have had a heart failure and died.

"So, this is the crooked man who runs this empire," the hooded man said, breaking the silence.

"Indeed. So? What do you plan on doing to me? Setting me on fire? Turning me into a pig? Chicken? Cow? Or even better; why don't you just ?"

"By order of the high Magi council, in regions unknown to you, I relieve you of your command as Emperor of Traeda, Emperor Sladinfae."

And with that, the hooded man removed his infamous hood, and the Emperor?s very soul was sucked into the man. The Emperor?s body lied still on the wood floor, deathly white.
Putting his hood back on, the man knew one thing. The world was closer to becoming the way it was, the way it should have been now. He knew becoming Emperor would mean being disowned from the Magi council, removing him from the society he had lived in for eons. He knew that fixing the world would be a great task and no small undertaking, but he also knew that the Traeda Empire could be of great use, and the next chapter of his life was just about to unfold.

I know it isn't fallout themed or anything, but it could be.

Even for free, it should still be treated as a job would be in real-life.

Well, that's your opinion. Take for instance, a builder. His application has some grammatical and spelling issues. His pictures are amazing and awe-inspiring. He is willing to spend hours; nay, days, on this little server project, for free. Would his application be void?

Reason you want this position: To put it plainly... As of late, I have been getting REALLY into writing, again. This seems like a perfect opportunity to

Howlong have you been playing Minecraft?: Late alpha. The numbering system in that was awful, but one of the last few versions of it if I remember correctly.

Have you written any relevant stories/lore/whatever?If so, can you provide examples?: Here's a fairly good one.

What will you be able to bring to the server, how will you help it?: Well I was mostly thinking lore, but I don't know... Probably lore.
    :P

How much time will you be able to dedicate?: Depends on my Homework, but usually an hour or two on weekdays, and (mostly) all day on the weekends.Country/time zone: Pacific Standard ('MERICA!)Skype username (if available)or other contact information: Facelessone001

    -I await eagerly

    Oh, why hello there.

Faceless here, and Minecraft singleplayer has sadly become a bore. I'm looking for a smaller community to join, on a server that is as near vanilla as possible. I would like to have a server that is either newer (a server that isn't far too developed, where I can actually be of help) or one that moves around occasionally.

It would also be nice if people were near my age of maturity, like 16ish (give or take).

If you need to see some pics of what I've built legitamently before, here you go.

    A mage's tower:

    A castle:

EDIT: please be 1.2.4 as well. (lol, forgot that one!)
