I'm sort of kind of lurking not really at all whatsoever.

I hope to go into computer hardware. I dont know much at the moment, but hopefully through my school's computer hardware classes I'll have some knowledge before I head off to college.

You could then make the argument about power delivery, how the power delivery on an ASUS ROG mobo/MSI Big Bang and a MSI Lightning card is much better, meaning it would be safer to use and overclock. Then about the AX750, and how it is much more efficient. Then how an NZXT Phantom case looks better than the Aurora. THEN how dual Intel SSDs would allow you to have the most reliable and fastest SSDs on the market, in comparison to the ones Alienware uses. Also, you could use enterprise-level drives, and put them in like, RAID 5 or something, and make the argument that it would handle the RAID better (firmware stuff). The Audio on the ROG Forumla motherboards is really good, so no need for a sound card (MSI Big Bang would need a sound card). AND you can do some little things to make it your own.

It doesn't have to be exactly at that price. I mean, 5.5k on a computer is so overkill. Just be better. The main argument is pre-builds suck, build your own.

Hello. I am in need of a gaming computer build. Its not something I actually am buying and putting together, its a piece of my homework in my web design class (which doesn't make sense because they never went over computer hardware). My homework isn't to build a computer, it's to compare two builds, and I am going to go to the extremes of computer building. Comparing a pre-built Alienware (I know, crazy) against a custom, hand picked build. My problem lies in that I cant find an up to date build near the same price range of the [over-priced] Alienware.

The Alienware costs 5,516.99 dollars, and I need a build that is close to that, or less. (because I'm sure a 3000 dollar build could easily be awesome for a long time) The build is here

I'm in a relationship, and I wasn't looking for one before I was in it. It just kinda happened.
