Seecret Changes
I found one: fancy 3D-cursor in debug mode (F3).
(okay, not that seecret...

Also, I get frame rate drop for chunk load.

Hm...it seems the features are hidden! Can you find them?

*Sigh*... Do I need to pull out the update list again? Sure. Go here. Plenty more things then just a sunflower... http://www.minecraft...coming_features

5) Mojang has already comfirmed that craftable saddles and horse armor are not going to exist, ever, period. Go dungeon raiding if you want saddles and horse armor.
Quote from cf451Just my opinionsLooking forward to all the flowers and biomes to come in 1.7--sounds like a really, really neat update!

I hope so, or maybe Mojang will add birds (other than chickens)!

Stop hating on Jeb and Dinnerbone for adding sunflowers. You don't even have to use them. Nobody hated on Notch like this. I am certain if Notch was on minecraft, he would have added these things as well. As for the horses, they aren't that bad really. If you don't want any of that stuff in your game just switch back to an earlier update using the new launcher that Jeb made. You people have no excuse to hate now.
Classic 0.24: added creeper mobs.
OMG! Damn Notch added creepers! The game is about placing blocks in an eternal daytime with no risk. Minecraft is turning into another game...

Lolwut. Is this a joke? No? Okay. Sunflowers. Cool. I was hoping for a biome, not a flipping flower. On the topic of falling particles.... SWEEEEEEEET!

I noticed something about tame pelicans: they can fish on land. :3

Pavo, your woodpeckers have superpowers. They can float and peck air.
(see screenshot)
You can tame parrots and pelicans (check the Encyclopedia of Birds for others, if any).

There were some intentions to backport GC4 to 1.7.10 but no timeline. We are focused on 1.10+, and 1.7.10 is just bugfix for the time being... unless someone else steps in and offers codding help. :3

That's better.
My tip: use /give command to find out the correct item name. Or, check the Minecraft Wiki (example: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Rotten_Flesh, look for "Name" in the InfoBox on the right)

SOLVED: t seems there was something else causing the huge lag. Even with the white-list solution, the lag ended building up after almost a hour rendering the game unplayable. Then I discovered this in the jaff.cfg:
Set it to false. No more lag.

Oh I didn't know it. I understand someone might want to spawn dozens of a bird type via config. What if the spawn frequency were hardcoded to temperature x humidity and a global rate (instead of per-bird type rate) in the config?
Thanks for replying. Looking forward to the next updates.

Try pumpkin seeds.
----
You should. ;3
BTW, I've tried to tweak a config to make the birds a bit rarer. It seems spawn rate is still a bit too high for certain biomes.
For example, peafowl in Plans biome. I used this:
Result: Too many in a small region (see attached image).
Bug: Tame parrots lose durability while on shoulder if player gets damage.

It's in .minecraft/config, called jaff.cfg.

PSA: Dynamic Surroundings mod now officially supports Galacticraft MC 1.10.2 and 1.11.2.

Try it on Venus. It's glorious.

My site wasn't offering GC4 backups because the micdoodle8.com site hadn't had downtimes for a while and I wanted to give the official site a headstart after the release. If the site goes down again, I'll consider hosting a backup again.

Great! Forgot to add: in case you add it back in, left-click to pick up; shift+left-click to change modes.

Hey, I'm upload this just for lulz:
Since parrots can be an armor piece, they are compatible with Armor Stands, NPCs and Bibliocraft Armor stands.
Thanks for the swift update.

Last question:
How do I tame pelicans? I gave them some raw fish and their heart icons popped up, but it seems nothing changed. o.O

I guess, the smart moving issue is the most difficult one and pretty much aesthetics. Kinda low importance for the time being.
I'm not sure if the sitting and walking modes became definitely obsolete with the new features; I'm sure they are in a certain degree. On the other hand, the follow mode is a bit different: it's intuitive for players to expect the tame birds will follow them pretty much like they do with tame wolves and cats. Just my humble 2¢. :3
