Hi guys and gals!
I'm a big fan of the Vanilla textures and always tried to find Resourcepacks that are close to default. However, many of the good ones are outdated and/or don't have Normal and Specular maps included which I really like to have since I'm using Shaders almost all the time.
So, one lonely weekend I decided I would make my own textures - and that I did. Basically I scaled the vanilla textures up to 64x64 pixels and added some details to them that don't destroy the vanilla style. As a matter of fact at high or medium distances you probably won't notice the difference, just the closeup shows way more detail. Like you can see from the screenshots and the video, the textures are supposed to be used with shaders, otherwise you probably won't notice a difference.

Troubleshooting
If you have weird colored lines and areas on blocks like bricks, make sure to check your shader settings and set the parallax occlusion map size to 64.
Permission
You can use this resource pack in your Modpacks if you don't make any money off it and you can redistribute the resourcepack on any non-English or non-German speaking websites if you give credits to me and use the curse or dropbox download links.
Have fun with the pack!

One thing that immediately stands out to me is the performance improvement over 1.13. Thank god, finally!
Really enjoying the retexture and I'm quite hyped for what's coming with the new 'crafting blocks'.

You're lucky I didn't delete the world =P
You spawn in -14/x/200 (something like that), so it's a looong trip. I took a few pics of the place for you to see if it's worth it.

Yeah, as zombieslayerz said, if both of you have the same modpack installed, just open your world to LAN and give your partner your LAN IP adress. You can get it from your Residential Gateway Configuration website (you can enter in it typing your IP in the address bar) or by entering the command: ipconfig in the command line. If you don't know how to do it, just click in this link.
