not to be rude, but dude, really? the entire point of a modpack is to use all the mods. if someone wants just EE and will be so dependent on it to not use ANY of the other mods then they do not need a tekkit server they need an EE server.

I like EE and the fact that it makes minecraft go to a whole new level, but you can just start with EE at the start and barely use any of the other mods, then get redmatter being constantly made, or any other material which makes it so you don't need to actually adventure out or actually WORK for your materials, rather than just waiting for more stuff to be made. I had a lot more fun when I had to actually work for things instead of sitting around doing nothing. I remember when I actually used IC2 and needed to mine for more ores to get solar panels to power my machines. now, there's no point in mining for any materials, I can literally spawn them as long as I wait for a bit. there's no point in pursuing in forestry if you can make wood as well as other farming equipment in seconds with EE. and as much as I like the items, flying makes you pretty much impervious to mobs as long as you stay far enough from the ground, the destruction catalyst.. well, the destruction catalyst isn't that bad since it takes fuel and doesn't make a COMPLETELY huge hole. the upgraded version however I'm not sure about... never made it since I sorta got bored of the server. and that was my line of text

EDIT: by the way guys, have you started construction of the new spawn? I'll help when you start.

I very highly doubt that anyone would agree with me, but I sorta wouldn't really like EE in the new map. I don't know what was so nice about it, but in retrospect I rather liked when it was regular, not too overpowered tekkit. there's no point in working with any of the other mods if you've got like a diamond being made every second. I dunno, might just be me.

Everyone who has trouble opening the technic launcher itself, check the technicpack website (technicpack.net). they have a new launcher and some people with the old one won't be able to open it.
