I can't get it to work on my mac. I get a error code similar to the one posted above. any ideas?

Doesn't work under Windows 7 either. Same error as posted above. This is with the .ZIP version. Apparently only the autoinstaller version works (at least that's what I gather from the posts from people that got it working above), but that won't help you on a Mac.

Will this be updated for 1.3.1 support?

    It already supports 1.3.1.

I don't use it because it screws with Minecraft. (Echos with sounds, terrible lag, ETC.)

Unpossible. It's a launcher. Once the game is launched, it's not even there anymore. Any problems you see at that point are due to whatever mods you configured the launcher to patch in. Check, uncheck, or reorder your mods until you're installing them properly...

I used to love this pack, but then I discovered Kas actually stole textures from another texturepack. :sad.gif: But then he edited them so that people wouldn't know.

Are you referring to the numerous options clearly credited to other artists on the create page? If not, then please be specific, or admit you're just a dirty troll. Which graphics, from which packs, and how did you determine they were used without permission?

How unnecessarily complicated way to do that :/

You should probably try another game. You don't seem to understand Minecraft.

Also, google "Rube Goldberg machine" sometime.

Hundreds at least... do a lot of deep mining and they're sure to start infesting your mine sooner or later.

    Quote from Slayorious

Don't forget that the second one seems more efficient because you're assuming that only one layer exists in the structure being built.

Actually, I wasn't. The pictures I made were showing how to maximally arrange the potential for growth around a single mushroom. They make no assumptions about any structure, they were simply demonstrating the single-mushroom case -- how you build a structure to take advantage of what was being demonstrated is a further question I was not attempting to address at all in those pics. Your pics, showing multiple mushrooms per pic, are obviously attempts to answer an entirely different question. Both fail to extend the principle I was demonstrating into a practical structure exploiting it.

That said, your bottom pic will, if extended to give each mushroom in it all available slots, be more efficient for the reasons I cited, although less so since the interleaving you're doing causes newly spawned mushrooms to take away an available growth spot from two existing mushrooms instead of one. Give them a little more space, and it'd be more efficient on a per mushroom basis, albeit less space-efficient. OTOH, if what I'm reading about 1.8 is correct, giving them more space may in fact be required now, so going back to my two pics, taking the second pic and arranging a structure that gives each mushroom all those spaces around it without placing others near it should be the most efficient. Both your pics will probably be infeasible for a structure now since they're too dense, impeding mushroom growth. But I haven't tested this yet, this is just based on what I've read about the 1.8 changes.

The steak item and pig textures don't respond to what you choose in the customizer.

Yeah, I noticed I didn't get my selections on those. I think the experience orbs might be borked too. Thankfully, minor issues -- still a wonderful pack. :biggrin.gif:

Nobody cares. They're adding new content because new content is fun, and the game needs more content. Being bug free is no great virtue if there ain't much to the game to begin with, and frankly, nothing really magic happens on release day. It's not like the game is set in stone at that time. There's probably not going to be a flood of new players coming in and experiencing the game for the first time, forming their first impressions -- it's pretty much going to be just like any other release for most of the players, really. "Release day" is, at this point, an excuse for a party and not much else. There is no need for a feature freeze beforehand. In fact, it'd be a pretty bad idea at this point.

If that were the case, you could then post what you did in reply. Otherwise, you just appear to be trolling by "refuting" a claim no one made in the first place in order to create controversy out of thin air while pretending to be on the other side.

    Version of Minecraft: 1.8

SSP or SMP: Only played SSP so far

Your Computer Specs and Operating System: 2x3 GhZ, 4 Gb Ram, Win 7 64

Can you repeat this bug: Yes

What issues does the bug Cause: When melting things in furnace and leave it alone. After the last item is melted everything just vanishes from the furnace and all items in it are lost.

Exact same problem here, except under Windows XP (SP3) with 2GB RAM. I would add the detail that the furnace UI closes itself at the end, and everything is gone when reopened.

Oh dear lord, the game is now ruined. Notch has added a mob that is significantly more rare and less destructive than a creeper to player-made structures, so there's no point in building anything anymore. /eyeroll

    AMAZING IDEA!!!

But beds are so helpful when dealing with those dangerous nights.

Just always carry your bed with you. When you're done sleeping for the night, pick your bed up. This will guarantee you always respawn in the lava lake...

Strange, because, you know, I have animals spawning just fine.

No one is saying they don't spawn anymore. They're saying they don't spawn beyond certain maximum numbers, and they don't magically despawn on their own. Once spawned, they are persistent.

I think you're all forgetting something. You have to cook chicken.Which means that chicken farms are less efficient than other mob farms(Cow,pig).

My 1.7.3 pig farm (using a /given pig spawner) drops the meat pre-cooked. If you harvest your mobs with fire, they dropped cooked meat. I don't see why the same principle wouldn't work with chickens.
