Any good hosts out there with decent plans that are actually legit and not oversold? I need reliable services but nothing oversold please. Do not want to be hosted from companies that are just going to limit my resources due by other shared resources caused by other server clients.
I am currently looking for a 4GB to 5GB server if the price is right and if the host seems legit. I need good quality, performance and 24/7 support. If I choose a new host and if the support replies are slow I will immediately leave and look else where.
Also I am hosted through another company right now in which I will not say the company name, but lets just say I've been having performance issues since the beginning. My server uses over 50% CPU with only 3-4 players online, and uses about almost 3GB out of 5GB of its memory.

Hello. I need your help migrating my server. Currently I am hosting via my own computer, which is great and all. However, I need to migrate to a dedicated server. I am looking for something not meant for little kids. I don't need someone to hold my hand through the set-up process.
I managed to host my own with over 35 custom formatted plugins and all, so clearly I am capable of doing it myself. Basically, I just need a place with FTP that I can dump my files onto and be done, trusting that it won't lag or put restrictions on anything. If it costs to have unlimited players or install a mod, I don't want it.
Also, I am aware that one of the main overselling points is RAM. I don't really care, I am smart enough to know that its the CPU and how the server is built that matters. If the host has free Buycraft or Donations, and maybe a free enjin site, perfect!

we're a small group (4-5 people) of university students who do not have a lot of experience hosting a server
recently got back into minecraft, specifically the hexxit modpack

Hexxit has quite a bit of mods to it, so it's recommended to have atleast 2-3GB of RAM for it. Since you're only hosting a few people, 2GB should work out, which is $18 monthly through us. Which one is the best for the money? I'm going to be hosting a survival server with probably 100 players and will have basic Bukkit plugins like WorldEdit, WorldGuard, Essentials, Factions and creative. Hexxit has quite a bit of mods to it, so it's recommended to have atleast 2-3GB of RAM for it. Since you're only hosting a few people, 2GB should work out, which is $18 monthly through us. Regarding your little minecraft server experience, our staff know everything there is to know about minecraft servers, so with us you won't have to worry about something not performing correctly; we can fix it.
