I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out what I need to do to get Forestry's decorative leaves (the leaves that contain no sapling info) to be recognized by the whitelist. Any leaves that are naturally formed on the tree work fine, they are dense and very pretty. I feel like I'm trying to white list the wrong blocks, trying many different string. Using Latest 1.10.2 forge, Better Foilage and Optifine. Thank you for the help in advanced.
Hello!

More varieties to keep as pets then! If anything, maybe change the name to macaws? The textures for a lot of parrots in the mod line up more with the appearance of the different macaw species. Your choice though !
Glad to see you back Pavo, looking forward to seeing the 1.10.2+ releases in the future. keep up the good work
Loving the recent update to the Mod Razz! Been absolutely loving the doors! Though now I've gotten more ideas since I've been messing with them...oops. Also small bug: the black office chair is named industrial foot lamp, lol.
Smore suggestions:
-Fences and matching gates - wrought iron, white picket, Pallet wood fence(?). If they could be stackable like the chain link fences that would be swell!. I'm not sure if that is possible with fences as well, but if not, maybe 1-2 block tall gates to match?
- Matching Ingolf tables - I really love those chairs! I would love to see a set of tables that would match the style/color of the black and white ones.
- B+W set of cabinetry/kitchen to compliment the modern additions to the mod.
- Borje chairs without cushions
- Camping suppies like a tent and sleeping bags, maybe a campfire?
- Fishing rods, bait n tackle,
Also, Questions/suggestions about the deco wand and colors. If the deco wand is able to change some of the objects in the mod: ie: rose vase, then I am a bit confused about the need of having the mass amount of each color to choose from from the bench? I really hope this isn't coming off as mean or rude D: But to me, it seems like it would be easier to have one single item of each that can be changed with the wand. This brings me to my next point: more varients of things would be awesome! What I mean by that is you can have additional objects to cycle through. Lets take the new couches for example: Perhaps shift right clicking through the options you could add pillows to the couches, a blanket, pillow and blanket combo, maybe magazines? but those are a few options. This way, It saves your from having 20+ extra models of couches with pillows, they would all be contained in the one object.
Thank you again for working on this amazing mod! Also congrats on the Parrots
I kinda put down working on development of the mod after reaching a rendering issue while adding my blocks. From what I've seen/read forge has changed significantly, so I might have been using old methods of adding what I need into the code. Your interest has given me the desire to give it another go, Thank you!
I am going to poke a few devs who are working on mods in 1.10.2+ to see if they might be able to tell me where I am going wrong. 10pak is working hard on his so I will leave him be I think until he makes his initial release. I know there is the Plants mod, so I might PM that dev and see if he could give me a hand.
10pack is back? WOO HOO! Hey, Erinbutt, here's another one you can ask for advice. One of the things you could specialize in, perhaps, is flowering mosses or spreading ground cover. Imagine castles and mansions with colorful variations of Mossy Cobblestone and Mossy Stone bricks. Spreading plants like climbing roses, honeysuckle, trumpet vine, wisteria, flowering clover could grow on fences. Creeping alyssum, edelweiss, common spreaders like Iris, daffodil, daisy, day lily, most come in all different colors, and make gorgeous variegated fields and manor yards. Plus they haven't been made yet, so no competition with other mods or possible ID conflict. We could also do with colorful trees like scarlet maple, desert Willow (or any weeping willow), or at least some kind of vine like cover that can be added to common trees as a flower decoration. These won't have to grow. But they will make pretty orchards. Flower seeds are another thing Pam got me addicted to. And separating the different flower and food beds with glow flowers make spectacular night scenes. In the end, it's your mod. Minecraft is the only place I can make flowers grow. I'm not kidding; in real life I kill the un-killable plants. XD
Great ideas!
I have a major list of plants, vines, tree and such that are on my list! Many of the plants you listed are planned to be in the mod. I however did not consider adding glowing plants! I love the idea and would love to. Perhaps adding a glow forest with various glowing and shimmering plants and vines would be a good thing to consider for the future. Vines on fences might be tricky because I believe that would involve poking the Vanilla code, unless I make separate blocks (I was thinking right clicking with a vine would be a neat feature, but might not be east to do D:). Trees are going to be a fairly major chunk of the development I think. I will be focusing on making different states (variants now? Forge???) for the stages of growth for fruiting trees: bare, blossom, unripe, and ripe fruit. Flowering trees and colorful leaves is definitely on my list :)!
Cool! Decorations! My gardens and orchards haven't looked the same since Wee! Flowers! and Plant Mega Pack went out of business. If I may offer these requests: flowering vines, glow flowers, and flowering trees. Impatiently waiting for downloads. One person you may consult is Pam Collins of Pam's Mods. She taught herself mod coding and Java. Maybe she can give you some advice.
Thank you! Unfortunately it might be a while before you get a playable download. But seeing some life here I will try hard to give you guys something to play around with! Pam I know is a very busy woman and I would like to give her an ask but I might hold off.
@creativeMD It's a bit inconsistent. It seems to happen more frequently for me when I mess with the duration slider as well opening it in quick succession. Another small issue is in JEI the Little Recipe just shows up invisible, but in my inventory it shows up with the item texture.
Hi Raz! Normally would use the google form thing, but wasn't working for me for some reason. I've got a few suggestions for future updates:)
-I'd LOVE to see a bunch more market crate models. Ideally I would love to see many more of the crops Pam has in her mod in model form in the crates.
Or even just more produce and maybe meats, more stuff to build stores and markets would be great!
-More individual pots, pans, dishes with a large color variety.
-The hanging baskets attatched to the garden swings are lovely, but I would love to see them as separate items as well!
I also seem to keep getting strange lighting issues related to your models. I am not using shaders, but I am using Optifine so that might be the cause. But looking at some objects removes the shadows from them. I have been using minimum lighting so not sure if that is an issue. Is there something in the configs that I could change to prevent this from happening?
Glad to see the mod finally in a stable build! I did get a crash with the door block type after setting the duration to around one. One of the main reasons I love the mod is for the doors D: Thanks and hope it's something that can be fixed.
Sweet! If you are looking for more stuff to add definitely appliances such as a fridge and stove would be a nice. The Fridge could act as storage and the stove/oven could just be a fancy furnace
Very cool to see a mod like this. I've been building a bit more industrial now that I've found your mod haha.
If you are going to be adding decorative blocks for homes, would you consider adding kitchen cabinets with storage? maybe wall and floor cabinets and variations with drawers?
Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing more from you
Strange glitch I've noticed with both the 1.8.9 and 1.10.2 versions of the mod. Randomly when placing items down from the mod, it will switch to the creeper plushie, and then back to the originally selected decorative piece. However in the 1.10.2 version items placed will sometimes stay as the creeper plushie and not revert back. Occasionally I reload the game and some of my items placed in the game have changed to the plushie. A bit strange but thought I should let you know.
Completely understand, would love to see those features in a future update
Well with vanilla doors they can swing open in one direction. I don't mind that little tiles allows you to have the door swing in multiple directions, I would like the option however to limit it to opening in one position. Hope that clears it up
Was checking out your videos and now I remember what I'd like for doors! Would it be possible to maybe have different settings for them? Such as sliding or lock to an axis so it opens like a vanilla door? Also would be lovely to give it maybe the vanilla door sounds as well, or at least an option to do so!
Also would you look into compatibility for Flat Colored Blocks? Think it would be great to use those in conjunction with your mod
Looking forward to the full release keep up the good work :D!
Howdy folks! I Finally delved into learning how to mod, had no issues loading items in, however I have been having such an issue loading in my model textures. All I want to do is have my texture render as saplings and normal flowers would. I am using Forges Blockstate system instead because Minecraft's way was making me pull my hair out. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am pretty new so my apologies for not understanding basic concepts.
Here's some of the code which I figure would be necessary:

As far as the sleeping bag goes I know that there is a sleeping bag mod, just it doesn't really have a placeable block, its just an item that does give you the appearance of sleeping in one. You do sleep at ground height, So maybe poke the mod dev of this mod and see how they did it? https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/sleeping-bag?gameCategorySlug=mc-mods&projectID=244584

Another small issue! Market items do not show up in their respective creative tab. They end up in the main decocraft tab.
Congrats on the Marriage btw!
