This is client side only, but there is a bridge system in the mod itself and a bukkit version plugin to create a bridge between users that are on a server with their installed on them.
The client mod will then remember the data of the other player(s) and call upon it again the next time the player is seen.
Though without a server to create that link atleast once (send and receive change data) you won't be able to see another player's edits.
Well actually I just popped it onto the server and everyone can see everyone's model now d:
Although wings only move for other people, not yourself... Bug?
On Windows my FPS goes from ~30 to ~35-40. But on Linux (which has always run Minecraft even with 50+ mods and HD textures amazingly compared to Windows) it goes from ~50 to ~25 (Vanilla, default textures)...
When I set it up, I first ran gradlew.bat.
Then in cmd I typed cd and just dragged my Forge folder onto the cmd window to fill it in for me.
Then, gradlew setupDecompWorkspace gradlew setupDevWorkspace gradlew eclipse gradlew --refresh dependencies
all separately and it worked fine for me.
Also make sure you have the latest Java. java -version in cmd should list: java version "1.7.0_51"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_51-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.51-b03, mixed mode)
That's the only person I've found who actually explains what everything you type does, and actually
speaks clearly unlike everyone else on the entire internet... So it's the best place to start.
If you really are an Op, you would have access to commands...
If you really can't use commands, then download the GroupManager plugin and start then stop the server with the plugin installed.
Then go to "server/plugins/GroupManager/worlds/world/users" and open "users.yml".
Paste this at the end:
YOURNAME obviously should be whatever your in-game name is.
Make sure when you paste it that it's lined up with the other entries in there. If it isn't, make sure there are twospaces before your name and four spaces before each line after to line it up.
Then just save it and start the server. If you still can't use all commands, then you did something else totally wrong...
No clue how that happens and its not something Ive been able to replicate. Does it fix itself when you close and reload your world? If not can I have a copy of your world so I can have a look at it and debug it?
Unfortunately it doesnt fix itself when it reloads.
And it would be kinda hard sending you the world since it would take me 4 days to upload on my internet according to Dropbox and uTorrent.
So I went ahead and copied it to my other computer (Ubuntu) and, guess what, it worked fine.
But after copying the world from Ubuntu back to my Windows computer (deleting the one on Windows that wouldn't let NPCs reset and only keeping the one that worked on Ubuntu) it didn't work again.
Could the mod actually be perfectly fine and instead it just really hates my computer? :l
So I'm getting the same problem I was getting a while ago...
I'm using the latest test version (unless you updated it today) and suddenly NPCs won't reset.
It doesn't matter if I click directly on the NPC then close out the window or use the wand and select NPC > Reset or Reset All.
Nothing happens and there is no error whatsoever in the console or the server log.
I know it's a stretch, but any idea what could be causing this or how to fix it even though there's nothing to go on?
EDIT:
Someone else said their NPC's spawn points were changed to their current position for whatever reason.Sounds like the same thing that happened to me, just without the faction stuff they mentioned.
Is there some kind of bug that causes them to update their spawn location whenever they move or something?
Couldnt get it to work properly and the scripting is more useful for making bosses.
Oh o.o
Gonna have to learn that now. Also, no matter what I do with a bard, whether its range is 5 or 64 or it has an off distance or not, music always fades when I get like 20 blocks away. Is that also intentional or just something wrong?
I have a fully built and very large Vanilla world. But I need to have like 20 ores from different mods generated in the existing world so players don't have to travel a far distance to see them when I put the map on a server.
this is very likely essentials preventing you from uusing it. Is to allowed on your server? If so ask the owner to change essentials config to not use the t button
I am the one running the server and there's no option to not use a specific button in essentials....

If you want to know how to actually code a mod, look at these tutorials:
