Resolved: It seems that my IPv4 was different now than what was previously saved on my port forward settings, changing this to the correct value resolved the issue.
Recently I replaced my old small SSD's for larger ones due to a crash related to memory issues. Since I the new SSD's I have not been able to get others to connect to my any server I try to create. The localhost adress allows me to connect but any IP's I give people, ISP IP or IPv4 etc..... will not work, or even detect the server.
Feel free to ask for any other information you may need to assist.
Yes there have been longer ones. I feel littleredman's post from a ways back was an absolutely shining example to draw from.

Seeing as how I am mostly back I will be updating this into my profile at some point since there has been an influx but I may as well post it in here. Anyone can repost their request, but it is also advised that you go back and see if there is anything you can improve on, though yours was very well written and should be taken as an example.

I resolved the issue myself, it appears I overlooked some things on my router. Somehow the WAN setting got switched to static IP though it should be set to dynamic. Switched it back to dynamic and everything runs smoothly now.
I've run into a bit of a frustrating issue. I can no longer connect to my server. I'll load up the multiplayer menu and get "polling.....X can't reach server". If I ignore that and try to connect anyway I get one of two messages, a flat out "connection failed" or "connection timed out." The only way I can connect is via "localhost." My friend and I have been playing on this server for a couple months now, it is the standard .jar application you get from the minecraft.net downloads page, though this one is modded. I get the same issue with a fresh vanilla server. Looking for a possible solution.
Things I have checked already:
I have a dynamic IP. I have already checked if it had changed, it has not, according to every source I've checked it against.
No firewall settings have changed that wouldn't allow access, I looked.
My anti-virus is not restricting access.
I port forwarded properly when I setup the server, double checkedjust to be sure nothing goofed up. No settings have changed.
Mind pointing out the racist references? I haven't seen any.
I think he might be referring to the public translations trolling that happens from time to time and can't quite figure out that those are not actually left in or condoned by Mojang.
FIRST of all the game is e10+ so if a seven year old is playing it then the it is the parents fault. SECOND of all most of the messages are discrete and meant for comedy. They are usually not in any way offensive or vulgar. Im sure that the game creators are smarter than putting vulgarity in the title screen. I mean comon, i doubt this picture is real. THIRD with nowadays society 10+ kids will probably hear those words at school anyway.
It is real, I've seen that particular splash multiple times.
Did you check your .bin folder to see if the world folder was still there? If so all you have to do is create a new world with the same name, and it should load that world without your items and at your original spawn. All your structures will still be in place.
Minecraft does not naturally generate iron blocks, wool blocks, bricks, furnaces....etc. So no Minecraft could not generate a world like Shadow of Israphel. No matter how many generations you went through.
Also, my cat seems to have escaped its box, if someone could locate it and return it to me dead and alive it would be much appreciated. (Since we're talking theorems and thought problems)
That just makes me remember a while back in beta there were some people working on a model map of the U.S. in Minecraft. It's still a neat occurrence you have there. Seed and coordinates by chance?

B: Doesn't understand the update process. Which is automatic. 1.7 was a beta version, currently Minecraft is in full release at version 1.2.5. 1.3 is the next release.
If you have an account simply log in at minecraft.net and download the game if you have purchased it. It will automatically download the newest release.
