Don't you mean, Dustons release Dust Striders?

If Xolova was the magical dispenser of knowledge, I would've just referred to him as Xolova.

Do not question the Magical Dispenser of Knowledge.

Okay, what I did was put some things into a Minecraft dispenser, pushed a button, and out came late-August.

Good to know, now everyone lets be patient for XolovA,because we have waited this long for an update before.

P.S XolovA did say that he will be adding about 400 total new mobs for the new biomes.

So I asked my "Magical Dispenser Of Knowledge", some questions regarding the update:

I asked it if the update would come out soon.

    It said no.

I asked if the update would come out in August.

    It said yes.

I asked if it would come out early, mid, or late August.

    It said late-August.

Woo hoo,as long as we know if it is still happening,im ok {other than wondering if XolovA's health is good} and i'm sure we have waited for an update longer than this amount of time before,am i right?

I do must say, the "dimensional war" theory is a very interesting and makes a lot of sense, considering some dimensions probably used to belong to one god, but was taken by another god...

-Take Barathos, for example, specifically, the Underworld, the environment looks like something out of an Erebon dimension, but Pluton could've taken over by burying the underworld, and turning that entire dimension into a scorched desert...

-Although, not all dimensions seem to suffer massive reality shifting from the gods, some places like Haven and Abyss looks like they've always belonged to their respective gods.

-Where do the Eeos fit in with this? My theory is that Eeos are high servants of Selyan and were ordered by Selyan to use their powerful minds to create Mysterium for Selyan to control.

    --------

Anyways, I have my own little theory regarding Krasaun, Labricon, and the fragment temples:

I always thought of Krasaun as an omnipotent deity who created the Multiverse and the 4 gods to keep balance in the Multiverse.

But the 4 gods didn't like each other's motives (light vs. dark, nature vs. greed/technology) and so they fought for control over the many different dimensions.

Krasaun took notice of the disrupting of the elements and used his powers to place fragment temples around various dimensions as a "spy" of sorts to see what they're doing, why he didn't directly intervene....? My only guess is that this dimensional war all went on behind Krasaun's back, or maybe he's lazy...

It seems that one day the 4 gods got sick of Krasaun and fought for control over Labricon, Krasaun's dimension, what happens next, I don't know....

Where does the Ancient Cavern fit with all this? Well, the Ancient cavern is probably a sanctuary of sorts created by the power of the 4 gods without Krasaun's influence in an attempt to keep their powers safe from Krasaun, and the Ancient Cavern guardians were created to keep that power safe from both tresspassers like the player and Krasaun's forces...

And, where does the Overworld fit? The Overworld was probably created by Krasaun as a pure, equal dimension not directly influenced by the gods, with their elements (light, dark, nature, fortune) equally placed into the Overworld to create perfect equality and harmony (the light of the sun, the darkness of the night, the value of ores and minerals, and the nature that sweeps across the land), the Overworld is a demonstration made by Krasaun to show what the entire Multiverse could've been if the dimensional war didn't disrupt the balance of the Multiverse...

But even the Overworld's purity wasn't safe safe from unequal influences from the 4 gods, a very long time ago, an ancient species that dwelled in the Overworld created a blueprint for a powerful device we now call the Ancient Teleporter which allowed them to use contained energy influenced by the 4 elements to travel through entire dimensions and explore the Multiverse, could've it been the Kaiyu? Who knows...

The 4 gods found out about the Ancient teleporter and used it to their advantage to have their powers influence the Overworld, which explains the events, Krasaun found out about the Ancient teleporter, destroyed it, and hid the blueprints, but it was too late, the 4 god's power have leaked into the overworld, causing misbalance once again in the form of events...

And now, you, the player, are exploring these exotic realms shaken up by a long-forgotten war, but.... From the looks of it, it's possible that history is going to repeat itself, in the form of a second dimensional war, a second Advent of Ascension!

This theory has a lot of speculation, but it also makes sense, and it also works with my theory too.

Precasia is a dimension themed around the prehistoric times. This explains why the creatures you find there are primarily composed of now-extinct creatures. They're nothing but bone in our world, like the Skeletal Army is. Get my point? ;)

On another note, I've noticed why some people don't like OreSpawn, though for minor reasons. First off, I've noticed that the presence of a large quantity of the mobs from OreSpawn causes the mobs from AoA not to spawn. Fortunately, you don't have to worry as much about this if you spawn in a Desert or Forest. To counteract this, I keep my game on the Peaceful difficulty when I start a new world to keep Worms from spawning in Plains. I also remove any nearby Ant Nests so they don't keep rarer mobs from spawning when they should be.

Now that I think of it, I think I'm better off getting a replacement mod for OreSpawn so that I can play AoA like it was meant to be played.

Pluton's gotta put all his jester rejects somewhere.
    Celeve is Pluton's jester closet.

Probably where the ghosts during the Ghost Event come from too, in fact, event mobs could be coming from breaches in other dimensions... Even though you probably wouldn't see an Anemia in the Abyss.
Maybe the events are tests from the Gods, so they're not from the dimensions themselves, but they're being put there purposefully.

Well, Precasia has a lot to do with the ancient past, so having an ancient, undead army would kind of make sense, even though it doesn't have to do with dinosaurs.

I do understand that they are fossil creatures,i was just speculating

Yeah, what is up with the Greckon?
You know, if Xolova ever feels better, and I hope he does, he should talk to us about the lore. This mod is so expansive with all its creatures and dimensions and secrets that it just can't go without a little backstory.

Aha! I didn't notice that. That means there was some sort of takeover in the Vox Ponds, not just a civilization being careless. Now we're starting to piece things together. That also backs up the Erebon theory a little bit, it could have been his forces coming to take it. (Which could be the robots. Penumbra, his guardian, uses Alarmos in his armies.) But what would cause him to do that? What argument did he get in with the previous God?

Other than the things you mentioned and what I think, I don't have too much info to theorize on the War, yet. I'm going to listen to some of the NPCs dialogue to see if I can think of anything else.

And WHERE did all those clowns in Celeve come from? Did Pluton just hire serial killers and dress them up in clown costumes? Does Pluton have a thing for clowns?

And in Dustopia, what's with everything being related to "Dawn"? Dawn wood, Dawn flowers, Dustopia is a very dark and shadowy dimension, so why would it have "dawn" and "daybreaker" things?

Glad to see that you are begining to agree with me.

also the dawn thing is pretty weird.

plus why is the main boss for precasia a skeleton,i mean, that is a undead thing, which kinda points at erebon

Also, when you fill up a tribute bar to a certain god, technically you are helping conquer that dimension.

Also the events could be tiny invasions for the overworld, because the hunt for blood is obviously erebon's doing and the alien event is pluton's doing, and also all the other events could be traced back to somewhere, except selyan, which judging by the glitch which causes the selyan bar to always be active, means that the overworld is probably ruled by selyan!

You know which dimension we should get a backstory or some lore on? The Vox Ponds.

All we know right now is that it takes place after some strange apocalyptic event. There's toxic waste everywhere, and the air is unbreathable. All (animal) life in the dimension has been replaced with robots as well (Previous life may or may not have been engineered into robots? A lot of the mobs, like Nightwings and Centinels bear some resemblance to organic life despite being robotic) The rest of its history is mostly unknown. The "apocalyptic event" isn't referenced elsewhere in the mod.

As you explore the dimension you'll notice, of course, there's obscure metal towers and destroyed buildings, leading me to theorize that there might have been some sort of advanced civilization living there that ended up doing this to their own dimension, somehow. They were obliterated, the only things left living being the robots, who could survive in the new conditions. The only things that don't seem to be robots are the Store Keeper and the Toxic Lottoman, who both appear to be mutants. (Perhaps the Sludge Parasites, too, who adapted somehow, now living off the Toxxulous who inhabit the ponds.)

Perhaps the Vox Ponds' destruction was part of the "War" that was referenced in Labricon's lore, if the "War" has anything to do with the Gods, then perhaps it wasn't a civilization that did this, perhaps the "pre-apocalyptic Vox Ponds" originally belonged to Selyan, but was somehow taken over by Erebon, who destroyed it, changing it to his liking. I don't know why or how, but it's just a theory.

TL;DR: Lunalus overthinks a Minecraft dimension.

I agree,If you remember how many dimensions seem to have been changed from there original self, like labricon was forgotten in a war, deeplands once had huge animals {the remains you see everywhere},and also the shyrelands, the castle-like structures there didn't build themselves and if you mine underground, you find stones that have "there is a dark power in that stone" line when you break it.

Deeplands: the large animals that lived there and the fungi say that there was once foliage [fungi grow on dead foliage} and also large animals once lived there {the obvious skeleton remains of them} and also there was an actual civilization was once there, because how did the deep pillars come around with the glass on them, and how did the deep cases get there, also kror is probably the last of his kind.

Vox ponds:this is obvious, there are so many ruins and dead things that it obviously means that this place was a battleground at one time, but the shopkeeper said something about how everything was fine until "they" came, that means that these robots came from another dimension.

Shyrelands:probably a fairly normal place until the shyreknights and craexxus civilized it,which you can tell by the obvious amount of bricks, which they probably made from the stone there.

    Iromine:the proffessor is the whole reason why the robots exist in iromine,because he created them with help from pluton,and the only creatures that aren't robotic are the quickpockets and the mechachron {the mechachron looks more mammalian than artificial}

Labricon:the lore Xolova told us about is that labricon is a forgotten dimension, forgotten in the "War",which is kinda weird if you think of it,because if the dimension was forgotten because of the War,then that means that this "War" didn't take place just at labricon, which comes to the conclusion....

The gods have been taking over eachothers dimensions in this so called "War" and if the biggest battle that Hasn't happened is the battle that we have all heard of.....

    Battle For Galactico.

And some outposts in this great war....

    Outpost X

    And another battle....

    The Capricorn

Notice how the capricorn is described over as a jungle that expands to take over a normal world, almost like an invasion by selyan.....

You see,its been in front of us for a long time, the entire world of AoA exists because The Great Dimensional War,the war is even obvious in the name of the mod,Advent Of Ascension, which means the time to rise.

Tell me your ideas about the Great Dimensional War.

I had a wonderful idea, since xolova isn't telling anyone about the update and since some of us are getting impatient, lets all try to find more about it ourselves,by looking in the mod files ad posting what we find on here, and maybe we can put some of the mobs in the game like silencer did with the dark moon mobs.

On the AoA Noticeboard, whenever AoA is out of date, the update half of it will read "AoA is out of date!", while the random tip will read "You should update Advent of Ascension". The Noticeboard's massive size makes it hard to miss.

Well, I was able to do it. I actually had no strength effect for the 4th and 5th gold in the 6th room, but by spam-clicking and picking up heartstones I was able to do it nonetheless. But my fire resistance ran out when fighting Mirage, and once I fell in the lava so I had to constantly heal myself. When I killed Mirage I had about 3 hearts left.

Klobber and Proshield were easy with Knockback II. Flash was really fast but the Erebon strength effect helped me beat him (even though I still had to keep healing). So all in all Rooms 6 and 7 were the most challenging. Thank goodness there is no lava in the Flash room.

For anyone wondering I was wearing a full unenchanted (well, they had Intervention, but that doesn't count) halite set minus the boots, which were subterranean boots with Protection III and Unbreaking III (and Intervention). Halite is *slightly* better than unenchanted diamond. Oh, and I didn't use the vortex blaster or moon shiner (the hot shot was for killing Mirage).

Here's a screenshot of my loot. I have trophies of all Immortallis mobs except the Urv now.

    Congratulations!

Please, please, PLEASE remove the Token Trader/Dungeon Keeper NPC trophies (the Immortallis NPCs. Look them up to make sure you get the right ones). They encourage you to kill them but they only ever spawn once, and once you kill them you either cannot go into Immortallis, rendering it useless, or cannot trade the tokens you get from beating it, also rendering it useless. So just get rid of them so players don't kill them and get stuck.

Also, for some reason in the latest version my DRPG trophies are missing. They are not in the creative inventory, and I used a Sword of Divinity with Looting III on a few Cave Crawlers (no trophies dropped) before I realized something was wrong. I had them before in my different profile and my only explanation is that something changed during the update.

Same thing happened to me,i cant seem to get divine rpg trophies.
