I am having a bit of trouble trying to download the Aether II Launcher. I own a Mac, and when I try to open up the "aether-launcher-bootstrap.jar" file, an error message appears that says "Error, please check Console for error message". I do not know what this means, and when I open up my Console, I cannot find anything that is related to the .jar file.
Is this an error, what else can I do to properly install the launcher?
Any tutorial that thinks it needs to explain what every button does. We can just press them and find out. No need to explain anything beside combos.
Hey, just because video games are a popular form of leisure doesn't mean that there are people out there where it's their first time trying it out. Besides, tutorials help you get used to the controls so that you'll play them better. What if you do get stuck on one part, and you don't know how to progress because there was no tutorial or you skipped it?
Story-driven games with little to no gameplay. I do love most of them from a cinematic point of view, but playing them myself definitely wasn't much fun. I hope those games can become 3D point'n'click adventures, where you solve more than one puzzle per hour.
If you're referring to games from TellTale Games, they are still a gameplay medium, there are various combinations you can get when making a specific choice, and sometimes they throw in simple action scene ("Press x to throw a punch") to keep you on your toes. They still seem to be quite a popular game medium with how successful the Walking Dead is, perhaps it's how there is so to how the story is written and how amazing the characters are.
People trying to play on the empathy of others actually triggers the opposite response with me. Maybe I just hate people, or maybe I notice little social nuances that my brain registers as them being "fake".
It's called patronizing, but I can see how it could make you feel that way.
On Topic though:
The new Ghostbusters film was actually pretty good.
What's interesting about this suggestion is that it has a steampunk vibe to it, being made of wood and metal and wielding a pickaxe. Perhaps this mob could also have a steampunk themed generated structure to go along with it, some kind of mini-workshop or factory would fit it quite well.
I like the idea of a robot-themed mob, so I suggest you detail this suggestion a bit more, as it has a lot of potential.
If there was a map made for GB I bet the map would be all blue spare for the small dot where you live.
Well if that's the case, wouldn't this quiz be applied to Americans? Regardless, there are more various combinations to make depending on the countries. For example, you could be a Canadian, born in France, have Asian parents, and be very fluent in Spanish, and see how this have led to you to express your language depending on these aspects.
Even then this quiz is not meant to be taken as an accurate result of which country speaks the same language and dialect as you do, but the most similar instead.
Yes it has other uses enderman will attack the enderdragon. Tamed wolves will also turn on the owner or all pets actually do
Endermen will already be aggravated by the Ender Dragon whenever it rams into one of the pillars or towards the Player. You can sometimes see aggravated Enderman run towards the direction the Ender Dragon is flying, and they are unable to do any damage due to how fast it's moving, how it knocks them back, and how it stays in the air for the duration of the battle. So I don't see how the potion would be able to change that.
Also, the tamed wolf attacking their owner idea won't really be useful unless it's in Multiplayer, and even then, no one would really take their tamed wolf to a PvP match as they would die instantly.
The government only talks about the games; if they cover actual political issues, then the people will realize what a quandary they're in, which will lead to revolution.
Well, exactly, they don't want the people living in the Capitol to know about the harsh living they've created for the districts, otherwise revolts would start up within the heart of the Capitol.
Because of that, it's only the districts that would be fueled by anger to start these revolts, and that's what I mean by still providing food and resources for them and holding the Hunger Games.
The idea that the government is purposely starving the people is thus dubious as, I can imagine, in other districts people live with a higher standard of living, we just have yet to see it, and starving the people makes them desperate to live and thus drives them to rebel. It would therefore be in the best interests of the Capital to have all be well fed and live well. I end with this: Would Katniss be so quick to rebel had her district be well-fed and prosperous and the games portrayed as the only way to achieve and guarantee such a thing? (Spoiler: No)
Maybe it's just me, but the more developed a world is, and the higher the HDI is, there would have been other things to rebel about. Just take today's 1st world, we have so many things to argue about, civil rights, racial, gender, and religious equality, it's all the media throws at our face.
In the world of the Hunger Games, the Capitol is REVOLVED around the idea of the Hunger Games, everything from the media and to ensuring that they will be able to hold another event, and this is seen in the movies with the talk shows, chariot-riding scenes, scores, live footage within the games, etc. Heck, even the last winners of the Hunger Games still get the lime-light after a year or so. So even if the districts were well-fed, and still forced to perform the hunger games, you'd still be adding fuel to fire, only this time, giving them the strength to fight back.

Hey, just because they release something new doesn't mean they will always be popular.
I mean, look at Adam Sandler.

"Well this is awkward"
"So..."
"Did you hear about..."
"It's pretty quiet in this room"
"I like what you're wearing, what brand is it?"
And so on.
