Why Us: this server seems interesting and original. It combines two of my favorite games and gives me a chance to RP on a regular basis. I was part of another Fallout RP server, but it kinda fell apart soon after I joined. Also, it would be kinda silly for a lore writer to not be on the server.

Name:Zacharias
Gender:Male
Age:early-mid 20s
Appearance:tall, slightly overweight. Metal armor that is given constant upgrades, causing it to look like several different armors put together. He has short black hair and dark green eyes.
Personality: fun-loving and adventurous, slight reserved. Serious when needing to be. enjoys helping others and feeling needed. He has a fear of doing things wrong in a non OCD way.
Backstory:
From what he was told, he was brought to his parent's doorstep as a baby. He grew up in the Hub, around all the bustle and trade. Seeing all of the travelers going in and out made him eager for adventure when he was a boy. As a young adult, he joined the NCR as soon as he could, hoping to be deployed all across the mid-west. Even though he was working with the mechanized division and did what he loves, all the NCR managed to do was send him to some barren outpost in the middle of nowhere. His time at the outpost was short, but it seemed to take a lifetime. He had contemplated leaving, but held off despite being bored. The vehicles at the outpost were almost never used. So, after he had repaired them all, he was sent to do menial guard work. The last straw was drawn when his division was sent to an independence town not too far from the outpost. The settlement offered little in the way of resistance, but his commander still insisted that they kick everybody off the land. “This is NCR territory now!” he would say. Then, a stubborn old man refused to leave. The commander ordered Zach to shoot. He couldn’t believe what he had heard, and his morals took precedent over his better judgment. As he raised the gun to the man’s head, he instead tossed him the gun and bolted. He ran and ran until he could run no more. He was away from home, away from hope, and all he did was travel. From that day he had dropped his last name. It didn’t really belong to him anyway, and it would also lead anybody he met straight to his guardians.
He traveled with caravans until reaching the Mojave, hoping to explore the Wastes and make helpful allies along the way. His mechanic expertise improved as he helped others in his travels, and soon he became one of the most trusted people in a small town he managed to settle in for a time. The locals entrusted him in fixing the pre-war turrets and defenses nearby. He had readily refused, saying that he was not skilled enough to repair the whole system. In the end, he finally agreed to give it a shot. Unfortunately, a small programming error caused a memory hole leading to the defenses running out of power right as the Legion decided to attack. The town was ransacked, and many were carried off as slaves. He left in the morning, lonely and ashamed of the destruction he inadvertently caused. He put it behind him, storing it in a place in his mind he would never want to open. He was now willing himself to do better in his continuing travels in the Mojave Wasteland.
He found himself settling down in Freeside, where his skills could be put to use to assist the people living there. He found a storefront and became known as the one to go to when things break. People liked him, and he liked the people. When the riots started, Zach took no part in it, he simply fortified his home until it all blew over. Not to say that he didn't help, infact his home/store was used as a safe-house for many women, children, and other non-combatants.
After the riots were over and the House started up, Zach did whatever he could to help. He took securtrons that were no longer operational, and fixed them as well as programmed them to access and assist in the relief effort. For the most part, they helped repair buildings and ward off raiders. Shortly after the House was set up, the Ace of Diamonds found a home for himself six feet under. The citizens hurried to find a new leader, a new protector.
It didn't come to a shock to Zach when the remaining Aces came knocking at his door. Zach had two choices, deny the position and potentially cause a further power struggle that would only be bad for the people. Or, he could take a job he wasn't sure he was ready for, but it would allow him to help others in ways he couldn't previously. And that, is how Zacharias was thrust into the seat of Ace of Diamonds. The future would be bright if he could overcome his apprehension and embrace his compassion. If he couldn't, the future of all of the Diamonds would be dark and unpleasant.
I have been white-listed and have played in the server a couple times (not nearly as much as i want). I have a question. Is there much for unaffiliated people(not in a faction) to do? i am reluctant to join a faction because a couple of my friends are joining the server and we want to decide on a faction together.
If you have been whitelisted or accppted show me your app again or tell me the page it is on and was accepted i cant sreach for every sigle app but i have the power to make you join the server now
Accepted and white listed you can now join the server
I am now on the fourms if you wish to join repost your apps now and if their good you can join the server in a few minuts
I don't mean to sound like I'm whining or impatient about being white-listed, but I am confused. Why are new people being accepted and white listed right now. I have come to understand that there is a serious back-up of people that were accepted but not white listed.

Zach had been traveling for a while with this caravan. They had been relentlessly ambushed by the legion, and their old Mr. Gusty has finally given out. The people of the caravan have convened to decide what to do. “We’re doomed” a younger fellow said, causing some murmurs in the crowd. An older man stepped up, and Zach knew him to be the leader of the caravan. “Aw, quit yer yappin’!” he said angrily. “We’ll be just fine withou’ ‘im.” Zach was unsure of what to do, but eventually took a stand. “Hey!” he said, with confidence that sounded fake even to him. “I think I could fix him.” There was even more murmuring in the crowd, and then the leader said “Why should we trust you?” Zach was unprepared for the question, and a long pause followed as he contemplated how to respond. Before he could, however, another person in the crowd stepped forward. It was a young child, and behind him was a man that looked near the end of his life. “He fixed my grandpappy’s Pip-Boy, show em’ pappy!” Zach had indeed fixed the old man’s Pip-Boy earlier in the journey. It was the first time he had his hands on anything of Vault-Tec origin, and it took him time to find out how it worked. While he worked on it, the boy had always asked him about what he was doing, and paid attention diligently. The crowd was surprised to see that the Pip-Boy was shining brilliantly, as it had been dim and unresponsive before Zach’s fix. “Ok ,fine!” the leader said with a grunt of dissatisfaction “but if this thing blows up someone else is paying for my stimpack”. Zach felt good knowing that he had succeeded, but suddenly had a problem “uhh….guys….I kinda need room.” The crowd willingly backed away as Zach got cracking on the robot.
As Zach opened the repair hatch on the Mr.Gusty, he realized he had quite a job on his hands. The wiring looked like it hadn’t been touched since the Great War. Getting a rag out of his pack, he went through the menial task of cleaning the inside. This was his least favorite part of a repair. That done, he finally got to the good stuff. He took a look at the wiring, and found more short-circuits than he has seen in his life. He realized he would have to cut the wires and install new ones. As he reached for is tools and extra wires, he noticed everybody was still there. He stared nervously for a moment, before saying “this is going to take a while.” Almost everybody left at that point, except for the young boy and the leader. Having people watching did not help his nervousness, and he almost forgot to turn off the bot’s power. He worked diligently and meticulously, making sure everything fit just right. After who knows how long, he was finished. With a satisfied expression he turned on the Mr. Gusty. At first, it’ lights dimly lit, but then it roared to life. Zach was so excited that it worked, that he barely dodged the flames emitted from the started robot. “BZZT BZZT ERROR ERROR!!! DANGER! DANGER!!!” “Whoa, whoa, calm down! You’re fine now.” Zach said quickly. After a moment to find its surrounding, the Mr.Gusty realized it was safe and went into sleep mode. It was only at this that Zach realized that it was almost midnight, and he should go to sleep mode himself. He passed the leader and boy, both sleeping, and pondered waking them until finally deciding to go to bed.

I posted my first application earlier(i would get the page #, but the site isn't cooperating). I was, unfortunately, denied with a comment "don't half-ass the app people!" in light of this i want to get feedback form whitelisters or anybody who feels like they can help, so that my final application is just right. i would repost it here, but it was already denied and i don't want the mods to think it is my revised application.
I posted an application a few pages back, and was wondering what you guys specifically had issues with. I understand the RP Example is a little (a lot) lackluster and a working on it for my second application. Is there anything else you whitelisters feel i should fix?

Backstory (1-2 LONG paragraphs):
From what he was told, he was brought to his parent's doorstep as a baby. He grew up in the Hub, around all the bustle and travel. His commander ordered him to shoot. He couldn’t believe what he had heard, and his morals took place of his better judgment. As he raised the gun to the man’s head, he instead tossed him the gun and bolted. He ran and ran until he could run no more. He was away from home, away from hope, and all he did was travel. From that day he had dropped his last name. It didn’t really belong to him anyway, and it also leads anybody he met straight to his guardians.
He traveled with caravans until reaching the Mojave, hoping to explore the Wastes and make helpful allies along the way. His mechanic and technical expertise improved as he helped others in his travels, and soon he became one of the most trusted people in a small town he managed to settle in for a time. He put it behind him, only remembered it as a motivator, willing himself to do better in his continuing travels in the Mojave Wasteland. Zach had also heard of a Courier guy around, apparently he was a hero or something. Zach knew he wasn’t cut out for that kind of stuff, he was just the tech guy. But still, he wandered on, going where ever he was wanted.
