You added dispelling imbuement to your leggings, that's a no-no(currently bugged). If you want that world back, you can do some NBT editing, the mod author(Mithion) made a video on how to fix your player(note: the bug will not be fixed, but you will be able to play again, just don't add dispelling to your leggings. ever. video link:

It can be made in-world like a multiblock.

Oh... okay... I tried placing the components in the world just like the recipe, and right clicking with the structure with hsla steel ingots did not make the structure, that was my best guess, so could I get an explanation?

Well, if you have the means to disable recipes on a player-by-player basis, then yes, it could be done. And no, that itself would not trigger monetization checks. However, it would be incomplete in gating the blast furnace, namely because the recipe also works in the Worktable (and cannot be removed from it). All it would take is for a "magic" player to find a "tech" player's worktable and they can craft the Blast Furnace. Also, there is a non-recipe way of making the worktable, further complicating the issue.

If I may ask, as I cannot find it in the RoC handbook, what is the alternate way to make the worktable? also, if I simply gate the blast furnace, then the worktable is uncharitable(requires 2 hsla ingots(unless it's in loot which I may have to disable))

There is likely no way to actually do that. Recipes - especially vanilla ones - cannot be made player specific, and any attempt to lock an RC item out from specific players (which, by the way only works for explicit player specifications, not a general "has player done X" test) is likely going to fool the monetization-detection code into thinking you are trying to sell something.

I was going to use the Progression mod(link:http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/229495-progression). It allows the blocking of vanilla crafting recipes given that one it's "achievements" is not yet completed. I do see your point about it likely triggering the monetization-detection bit, though. I may be able to use a plugin(for kcauldron) to remove the blast furnace if you are not part of a certain group, however I still see that same problem about it looking like I'm trying to gate things behind payments. :/ Do you have any suggestions on the subject? I would loathe to remove your mods, as I love reactorcraft's realism in regards to.. well, the whole thing, but I like that nuclear waste must be dealt with, and that blowing up a reactor has more effects than just a big hole in the ground(I am planning to have a ruined city or two with radiation in the lower levels(the ones with more loot) and the long term basis of the radiation fits that perfectly.).

Hey Reika! This post is to notify you of my inclusion of your mods(Rotarycraft, Reactorcraft, maybe Void monster) into my pack: Project: Exogenesis. This pack will not be released for some time, when it is, it will be a hidden pack on technic. It will be a grey-listed server pack.

    Without further ado,

    1. Users of the pack may not have permission to reupload and redistribute the pack. I will be the only one giving out access to my pack.
    2. Under no circumstances may you or the users of the pack extract my mods from the pack and rehost them. I will add a statement forbidding this.
    3. The pack must comply with the rules regarding third-party modification discussed below. I will be leaving the mods alone, potentially modifying the values in the config file, but nothing more, and I will have a display at spawn detailing modifications.
    4. The pack may not generate income, either directly from purchases or donations, or indirectly with ad revenue or merchandise, except that which is necessary for maintenance (eg server fees). This includes disabling/banning machines so that users must donate to have access to them or offering packages which include my items. These actions are also explicitly forbidden by the Mojang EULA. I will not be getting paid for this in any way, no method of payment will exist or be given.
    5. You may not try to claim credit for any of my mods under any circumstance. This includes but is not limited to stating ownership, claiming to have contributed content (beyond merely suggesting an idea), and claiming that you are on part of a modding team with me. I will be including a pack permissions section/document which, given that your mods are included in the official release, shall list you as the sole developer of your mods.

Now that the basics are covered, I was curious if you would be okay with me artificially gating the beginning of your mod, Rotarycraft. I completely understand that you may have adverse reactions to this, and my actions will depend on your approval, if no answer, I will default to a negative.

I would not be altering the rotarycraft tech tree, merely limiting players on whether or not they could use your mod(not based on money). The basis of the decision would be to either choose tech OR magic, your mod being part of the tech side. If they chose tech, then they can start your mod right away(being able to craft the blast furnace once they have the standard materials.)

If they were to choose magic, then the recipe for the blast furnace would be disallowed, if they managed to get their hands on one, ideally it would be unable to be placed, hopefully with a chat message("you do not know how this works") and also for them to be unable to be interacted with.

    I eagerly await your response!

Hey YorkeMC, this message is to let you know that I will be using your mod in my pack(Project: Exogenesis). It will most likely be a semi-private(Users must ask for pack) server pack, and will also most likely not be done for quite some time, maybe by the new year. Once I put it up on Technic I will also put up a document with all the mods and authors and links to forum posts, etc as required.

    Thanks!

I think you are replying to me, even though you don't make it very obvious. I haven't found a fix yet, as I think it can only be fixed in code. I haven't researched the issue much, because I am not even sure that it influences the tps or fps at all. It definitely does not crash me.

Have you noticed that these elements stop being generated and stop being counted by the client once you open any gui? Whether it be the chat menu, game menu, inventory or any other gui? (the F3 menu not included)

Does this happen with only TTF installed by the way? I haven't had the time or need to test.

Alrighty, so I did a little bit of testing. (Hopefully this makes it more obvious I am replying to you.) I actually removed TTF from my server, and got the same crash, so it can't be related to TTF. I guess I thought it was since it seemed odd for parts of a twilight forest to be spawning at the origin of the map, but that is not what has crashed me. What makes my crash a bit more frustrating is that I have like 200+ mods and the crash report doesn't point to any of them as the culprit, so I can't do what I usually do(remove the mod) to fix it, and once I get that crash, I am required to delete my Player.dat to let me re-enter the server. haven't tested to see if I can re-enter the region I was in, will test that soon enough.

Hey! I have been getting rather frustrated due to a similar issue, except in my case it crashes the client as opposed to just lagging it. only vanilla functions are mentioned in the top, but once you get down to the list of everything going on at the time, you see several TF naga segments at 0,0,0 while I was in the overworld(where that obviously shouldn't be happening. Did you find a fix to your problem(might help me with mine?)?

    Thanks,

Tcboy, my only advice to you is to play through vanilla thaumcraft. If you ever encounter a vanilla thaumcraft feature where something is on your head that you do not want, that is what the enchantment is for. Safe to say that you WILL run into it, unless you never get into the eldritch arts of thaumcraft.

I'm not certain if players can mount or not, but it was designed for a core thaumcraft feature... think, anything you don't want jumping on your head throughout your vanilla thaumcraft experience?

I do have quite the modlist, so I'm thinking that might affect things... I do have several entity-adding mods like Grimoire of Gaia and lycanite's mobs, so I wouldn't be surprised if I have simply run out of ID's for entities. I think I hit the forge max of blocks a while ago, now I've got like 500 ish blocks of room before forge literally can't handle any more(btw I'm fairly certain the limit is at 4096, I'm at 3457). If you like, I could test it with like one other mod, to see if my monstrous amount of mods is the true cause of the error.

Ah... I did install YGC and Psychedelicraft at the same time, thought with the bit of realism that YGC uses that the water shaders and looking at the sun thing might be included. Good to know there is a config, and obviously I was looking in the wrong place for that, thank you.

Good to know that the statues don't need the player to have joined to work, now I can have whomever I want standing around as a statue... hehe.

BTW when I first saw a rift, I wanted to go poke it with my sword... I then couldn't discern anything, I LOVE that effect, also with the slurred speech and whatnot. Another note, I love the statues not only to make temples and whatnot, but they are perfect for player made dungeons, like I will use them for. Imagine walking down a dark hallway, creepy statues set in stone, high in alcoves. then boom, accidental pressure plate, and monsters and gargoyles and such pounce on you off the walls. Terrifying. Another thing is the boss statue idea, where you approach some scary looking boss, then it comes alive??? and maybe doing that after you had drank something and it all becomes one horrible nightmare. I love it.

Ayoooo I was playing on my testing server(dedicated multiplayer) and got the chat message that the dragon was coming to get me, basically. I was a bit worried, but then a bug came to my rescue and disconnected me with the message "A fatal error has occurred. This connection is terminated.". I was a bit confused, and thought it was some other mod I recently added, as the author said it was alpha and would be buggy. I forgot that I had updated this mod, so I took some time and waited for it to happen again on a new world, and got the following log messages(server log showed nothing out of the ordinary, but client log had more things to say.), also this did not crash the server, simply disconnect me and prevent me from getting back on unless I deleted my player.dat.
