    So I've got a decent near instant TNT explosion setup, but I'm wondering what you consider the best bait? I play on a PVPish server where everyone appreciates a good trap, and want to see what havoc I can pull with this one.


    I'm not sure if I should use a silk-touch ore block on an observer block, a trapped chest or something else. It needs to not look too out of place on the surface, and preferably not be too suspicious.


    Do you think coal/iron ore would tempt even diamond armor players or would another trigger work better? Diamond ore would obviously work best if it was deep underground, but it's way too suspicious on the surface obviously.

    Wow those are both really good. I think I'll use #1 for my house and probably make a trap somewhere else in the desert with #2.

    I play on a server that allows you to set up districts where players can't do anything to your stuff, so I've been plotting ideas on traps that can take advantage of my leaving a single space not in my district, the space right before my house's fake front door, and cause people to fall-, trip a wire and be pushed into a death pit below my house. (Where they can't save themselves because districts.)


    Currently the best tripper I can think of involves a stone pressure plate on top of sand on top of TNT, which causes everything, including the player, to fall, trip a wire and be pushed into a lethal fall. (Seen in the attached image.)


    My question is if anyone can think of a way to do this without TNT, so the only thing I need to reload the trap would be sand and a stone pressure plate or something. (I've already got a double piston idea set up to have a secondary pitfall trap for people who try to disarm the trap in the one space they're able to dig.)


    Any other improvement ideas would be appreciated too, I'm pretty new to this. Also note the server admins are okay with this, and it is a PVP server.

    posted a message on Any HD Resource packs with mod support?

    Basically I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of good HD mod packs with mod support.


    I can't play the game with default graphics anymore, so I'm stuck using mods that don't add any new items or blocks.


    If anyone knows of texture packs with support for any good mods that are at least 128x textures I'd be grateful.


    If anyone knows of mods with high res textures as default or an included option also let me know please.

    Looking forward to Forge compatibility.


    Also have you considered making a mod that makes the compass point to your respawn point instead of the world spawn? It's annoying when I need to run around for hours trying to find my home because I didn't like my spawn.
