I love this server. While it is currently on the smaller side the community we do have is a great one and I look forward to being here as it grows.

Towny is fun, plenty of people have towns and there is always someone either online or on our discord that would be happy to have you join them in their town. We have some pretty cool perks you can buy with in-game money including "Keep Inv" and "Keep EXP" For donators, there is a lot of cosmetic stuff which is really fun to play with if you are into that.

Skyblock is the newest part of the server and I will say if definitely brings some challenge to Minecraft again. You get everything you need to start and even a few things you may not. I'd say the voting keys there are the most amazing thing.

If you are out looking for a server to join I'd say you should give Sanctuary a try. Please come on by, get to know us and hopefully stick around. :) New players are always welcome and we have a bunch of regulars that are more than happy to help out Newbies with questions and materials and even builds.

Since PeanutTheMan mentioned the donor ranks I'd like to take a quick chance to mention what is in them. All the donor ranks are one time donations. No need to subscribe or buy a new one each week if you want to keep your perks.

The price starts at just $7.50 and our ranks include a bunch of cosmetics from a mountable Ender Dragon to a pet Golem that follows you around with his little flower. As you donate higher amounts more cosmetics, mounts and even a personal DJ becomes available to you. Also, a few of the perks that can be purchased with in-game currency get unlocked for donors.

Looking at the last of the Donor Perks we have the most expensive at $75.00. This grants you everything from the Donor ranks below as well as a Personal NPC to be placed by a staff member upon your request as well as a Minion which can do some of the more boring tasks for you from Fishing to Mining.

I'm very picky about the servers I join.

First and foremost they need to have a good community. They also need grief protection. I decided on this server after I had tried several others and found them lacking. This server has a great staff that goes out of their way to help. This server has a discord where members can voice chat as well as a forum where your suggestions for the server can be heard and voted on. You can also appeal any bans there should you be unfortunate enough to be wrongly banned, muted or otherwise.

They have vote crates with various prizes from a saddle to an elytra.

If you are into donating they have tons of cosmetics and commands you can receive but if you aren't into donating you'll be happy to hear they strive to make sure they are NOT a pay to win server.

An example of how the staff is super helpful is a case I recently witnessed where a new user lost her home. This is what she posted on the forum after.

"I joined this server today after wasting time searching through other servers that either lagged me to the point I disconnected or had features I wasn't willing to accept (like allowing griefing). The staff and community were welcoming and helpful here at Sanctuary. That in itself is not all that unusual, to be honest. Let's face it. The Minecraft community in general (minus the buttheads) are primarily an amazing group of people. However, when I lost my base to a misunderstanding of how the /home (and bed) features work, I became a pain in the butt. I was frustrated. I didn't have anything that couldn't be replaced. My base isn't even built up and beautiful or even serviceable yet. It was just that I had invested time in that area and have plans for a build. Even though I wasn't exactly being helpful, the staff were. They remained calm, patient, and kind. In the end, they were able to find my sad little starter base and I am grateful. My true appreciation though is for their manner in which they accomplished it. Thank you. "
