Trees should be procedurally generated, so every tree is other from another.
btw, every sapling should have 1x1 and 4x4 variation

I'd like to see some more serious and enjoyable April Fools update, like Infinity Update.
Maybe it should be reverting Minecraft to the Beta stage, presenting new things in old nostalgic light.
Minecraft Gamma Edition?

Minecraft is a sandbox game, combat is just only one aspect of it,
the main aspects of Minecraft are mining (destroying) and crafting (building)
I'd like to see update that gives player much more freedom in shaping not only the world, but also game itself, like some interface to create datapacks.

Why just add one dimension. Add infinity dimensions!
A serious infinity update would be great.

Just add slabs und fences und stairs made of every block!
Vertical slabs and quarter blocks too!
It would really help in many builds.
Minecraft as a sandbox game that is so popular should elevate "sandbox" standars, instead of focusing on RPG elements.

Mojang focuses too much on details instead of a whole.
Why add just one mob? Why not infinity mobs?
The current state of Minecraft is like Island from Classic.
It can be expanded infinitely, but Mojang tries to make it into Terraria.

Aether itself is very Minecraftian.
Without dungeons, without RPG elements like XP, enchanting etc
The original Aether was Sky Dimension:
It's a shame that they changed direction of the Minecraft in Beta 1.8

Datapacks are good, but there is some problems:
Quote of Cheyron, creator of Cheyrons Gamma World Generation:
The thing is, with Mojangs new custom world datapacks, we've now gotten the tool to make all the terrain generation we would like, but actually we don't.
For example, the only way to recreate the nice beta sand beaches is to declare your biome as a "nether"-type biome, which generates soulsand beaches, that have to be replaced by actual sand in a sort of complicated way. And even though this works for the most part, it will mess up any terrain above 128 blocks, severely limiting our options with regards to higher mountains.
And as far as I'm aware, there is nobody so far, who has managed to access the "type" of terrain generation with these custom worlds.
The other problem: datapacks are stored inside TEMP folder, which resets every time you install datapack.

There should be gamerule to remove XP, enchanting, potions and hunger bar!
Creating worlds should be as customised as in Indev!
There should be option to create floating islands/caves with all biomes, not just single biome!
Mojang should bring back Custom Worlds option that got removed in 1.13!

In short: it uses temperature and humidity system to generate biomes. (Like in beta 1.7.3 and earlier.')
So you can have for example: cold jungle or hot taiga, or wet mesa, or dry swamp (It also applies to the oceans.)
In the nether: darkness and dryness. (instead temperature and humidity)
