I don't really understand your suggestion but the leaves you place would act like normal leaves.

    Let me explain better:
Leaves found on the ground would basically be orange versions of the flat snow layers that you find in snow biomes.
When you break them with a rake (much like breaking snow with a shovel), you get a leaf or two.
You can combine the leaves (in a 3x3 pattern on the crafting table) to make one solid leaf block.
This leaf block affects the player much like water, but it doesn't flow or fall or anything.

Sorry if you still don't understand. This basically allows you to jump into piles of leaves from tall heights and live, slow down mobs travelling through leaves, etc.

    EDIT:
The big ugly "****" loel is a mineshaft, with leaves on the bottom, so instead of climbing a ladder down, you can just jump down, and land safely. Like how people do with water, but with less work.

I like your idea except that I don't think the leaves should act like water. I think that they should act like leaves.

Leaves (on the ground, found naturally), should be the little layer blocks, much like snow. When you break them, they give you a leaf, or maybe a leaf pile.

    :Orange: :Orange: :Orange:
:Orange: :Orange: :Orange: = 1 Leaf Block
    :Orange: :Orange: :Orange:

    ( :Orange: = Leaf)

When you collect nine of them, you can make a leaf block, which acts like water (it slows you down, and you can "swim" up it, and it breaks falls if thick enough stacked), without flowing, of course. Like so:

[What the fuck is this shit]

( :Orange: =Leaf block, made of 9 leaves) (This breaks your fall, like water, without signs or a ladder)

And, maybe, to pick them up, you have to use a leaf bag (made of leather)?

Also, it can be used as a fuel source, or something similar.

Just my suggestion. Sorry for the Smilie spam.

I don't know if there's really a need for a new tool just for this purpose...but if one of the other tools was able to do this same thing, I'd be all down for it. I feel the same way about ice blocks. :iapprove:

Check out the Updated Nether topic for the ice blocks, look for the Freezer part. (it's in my sig)

Okay. I love the music in Minecraft, however, would like to be able to change the frequency of the music. There would be an option, much like render distance, where you could set the music to Normal, More Often, Frequent, and All The Time. The Normal frequency would be as frequent as music is now. The More Often option would be a bit more frequent than the Normal option. Frequent would be 3x, and All The Time would be one after the other (basically, after one song ends, another begins).

I think this would be a great addition to this already amazing game, because the music is so epic, it needs to be heard more often!

Please comment, make suggestions, give constructive criticism, etc. Don't forget to vote in the polls above! Thanks!

A new mode, Super Legendary mode.

Not hard mode, not easy mode, not legendary mode.
    But Super Legendary mode.

In Super Legendary mode, you have 1 heart (Just like in real life!), but when you die, the world ends.

You eat to live, not to gain health!
You do not gain health from food, and you do not respawn.

Through eating pork chops, you can somewhat increase your strength(damage) by a large amount.

Artifacts and powerful items are availlible, IF YOU SURVIVE long enough to get them.

You are as a titan, a master of the universe.

    BE the Chuck Norris.
    BE Jackie Chan!

    Just don't die.

A new mode, Super Duper Legendary!

Not legendary, not super legendary, super duper legendary!

You have half a heart and when you die, the world ends and Minecraft is uninstalled.

A new mode, Super Duper Pooper Legendary!

You have no hearts and when you die, the world ends, Minecraft is uninstalled, and your entire harddrive is erased!

A new mode, Super Duper Pooper Scooper Legendary!

YOU HAVE NEGATIVE ONE HEART AND WHEN YOU DIE, THE WORLD ENDS, MINECRAFT IS UNINSTALLED, YOUR HARDDRIVE IS ERASED, AND YOU DIE IN REAL LIFE!
