    I’ve been a builder on several servers that use your pack. Hands down this is the best pack out there. You’ve given us the largest canvas and opened up our creativity. People give suggestions or ask for something specific and you’re quick to respond. That’s why I wasn’t surprised when someone suggested a clothes line and in short order you gave us a brilliant new texture for it. You’re pack warrants the highest exposure possible to the Minecraft community.

    I know at times it can be hard to find motivation to continue with Minecraft. The community has matured and the servers have reached their full limits. With all of the recent code rewrites, a lot of plugins haven’t been updated. It seems that Minecraft is in a slow period. Mojang needs to do something major to reinvigorate the community, and I think that something is the API. When it finally releases our creativity will be limitless. Minecraft will basically be a whole new game.

    When I lose motivation on a build that I’m working on, I start a new build. I usually have a few builds going on simultaneously. That way, when I get bored with one, I can jump to the other. This might be a good strategy for you. I would suggest that you start a modern pack that we can use for cityscapes. That way you have two projects going. Conquest for fantasy-medieval and Modern for cityscapes, and maybe a third…. Futuristic for sci-fi.

    I've been looking for an answer for a few day's now. I'm not that guy that posts for help without looking through the threads to see if its already been answered.

    I was on a server that had its own modified texture pack. Each block in the pack had alternative textures for it, where you could place the block and then cycle through all of the available textures for it. For example, if I'm using the grass block (2) and I have a secondary texture for it in my resourcepack, how do I select that texture? I tried WorldEdit's /give 2:1, 2:2... and so on... didn't work.

    I'm not sure if this is an Optifine question or not? If I have a texturepack that has multiple textures of the same block, how do I use those alternative textures in-game?     Great work sp614x! I dont post a lot on these forums, but I wanted to take the time to thank you.
    Here are me PC specs:
    i7 3.50GHz
    Windows7 64bit
    16G RAM
    GeForce GTX670
    120Gig SSD

    I have all of the settings maxed out (everything enabled, everything on fancy, extreme viewing distance), and I have never seen fps's like these until now. Im averaging around 243fps. Its running as smooth as butter, and I have a pretty resource intensive texturepack.
    The only thing I haven't tried yet is shaders.... thats next...

    Thank you for your hard work, I'm rooting for you to work out a good deal with Mojang!

    What texture pack do you have in mind, or do you plan to use a custom pack? I'd perfer a x32 bit pack.

    I'm working on creating a new Optifine required resource pack. I created a ctm folder and multiple subfolders. For example, I created a cobblestone folder and in it about 15 different textures (78.png, 79.png - 92.png). When I log on to my local server and try to get these new textures to build with (/i 4:78 64) it only gives me the base cobblestone texture.

    How can I call on these new textures in game?

    Guard: We have a couple of taverns in town, both are located on the main road.
    Me: Thank you. I'll be on my way then...
    Guard: Before you leave, I need to inform you that we don’t tolerate miscreants here. So I would advise you be on your best manner.

    Me: **bows with extended hands**

    1) Your child is at home, hungry. There's no food for them to eat. You had no money, so out of desperation you decide to steal some bread from your local bakery. While sneaking out of his kitchen with the bread, the baker catches you red-handed

    Me: Please Sir! I beg that you don’t report me.
    Baker: Why should I not? You are a thief.

    This is my first installment in the Epic Landscapes series. The series is based on interesting landmarks from around the world. This map is based on the Grand Canyon. Up next will be Glacier Bay, then Stewart Island. These maps are intended for use by the Minecraft community. Feel free to use these maps in any way that you like.
