    Why do you want to join PB Craft: I have been playing minecraft for 3-4 years and I am looking to settle down into a nice, friendly, realms server. I have never been on a realms server so that should also be interesting for me to try. Furthermore, I just want to find a nice, cool server where I can record some youtube videos and just have a good time.

    Optional Information: I have run several minecraft servers in the past and consider myself a good minecraft community member. One of my friends is also a moderator on the hypixel minigame server. I just want to be accepted on the realm server and I'm sure we'll have some fun.

    What do we do here?
    Here at Panem - Cold Wind blows, our goal is to give you the best possible role-play experience that we can. The server takes place in Panem, the new civilization in North America, and the hunger games are back. The map is a full scale map of Panem, including all the districts, as well as the capitol. You are just one person in the large world, but everyperson counts, wether your a pour slave in District 12, or a rich capitol citizen. Enjoy the rest of the topic, and remember, may the odds be forever in your favor.

    History:
    The second rebellion took place, and the rebels of District 13 took down the capitol, leaving Katniss Everdeen to execute President Snow. Recently, she had learned knowledge, that the rebel president, Coin, was planning to re-make the hunger games, using Capitol children. But this was what the entire rebellion was about, ending the hunger games once and for all. Instead of killing Snow, she assassinated President Coin, putting President Paylor of District 8 in duty. (Snow later coughed on his own blood and died, also getting trampled by rebels.) Paylor ruled well, and for once in Panem, there was peace.

    A whole century went by, and Harold Snow, direct ancestor of President Snow had begun his plan. The Capitol army was reborn, and a group of 100 Peacekeepers, led by Harold took District 11 by surprise, finding old peace-keepers, and taking over the district. Their scourge went on capture districts, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10, obliterating 12. Leaving only District 8, 13, and the Capitol, but the army of Peacekeepers had grown by the thousands, and they quickly took over the remaining districts as well as the capitol gaining control of Panem, executing all Rebel officials, and well as any who questioned them.

    This is where our story ends, with the Snow family back in rule, and Panem left once again to fend for itself, doing the Capitol's every whim. The Capitol, came to the agreement called the peace period, which allowed for the districts to rebuild for a while and live as normal. But the agreement ends in 1 year, and the reaping will begin all over again, and those men and women will need to fight to the death. The hungers games begin, and may the odds be forever in your favor.








    Districts:
    District 1: Its industry is making luxury items for the Capitol. Due to the nature of its industry, it's considered the wealthiest district, the only other wealthier area being the Capitol itself. It is considered a career district.

    District 2: District's seal depicts a block of stone and carving tools. The District's public presentation is that of stone quarries, but it also manufactures weaponry, makes trains, and supplies Peacekeepers.

    District 3: District 3's primary industry is general electronics of many types, though it is known for also making various mechanical products such as automobiles and firearms. Thus, many of its residents are technically apt.

    District 4: District 4's industry is fishing, thus most residents have experience using nets and tridents, making fishhooks from scratch, swimming, and identifying edible sea life. It is considered a career district.

    District 5: This district's industry is power.

    District 6: This districts industry is transportation.

    District 7: District 7's industry is lumber and many of its residents have experience with hatchets, axes, saws, and other tree cutting tools.

    District 8: District 8's principal industry is the production of textiles, and they have at least one factory that is primarily used for making Peacekeeper uniforms.

    District 9: District 9's industry is grain. Little is known about this district.

    District 10: Livestock is District 10's industry.

    District 11: District 11's industry is agriculture--orchards and fields of grain and cotton surround the district. Almost everything grown is shipped directly to the Capitol. It is one of the poorest districts in Panem, second only to District 12. It is also one of the districts where the Peacekeepers are the strictest.

    District 12[Deceased]: It used to be located somewhere near what was the Appalachian mountains. Its chief industry was coal mining. The district had the distinction of being one of the poorest districts, if not the outright poorest, in all of Panem.

    District 13: District 13 is one of the thirteen districts of Panem. Its industry is nuclear weapons. It was supposedly obliterated during the Dark Days as a warning to the other twelve districts of the Capitol's might, but it still thrives. The district was the hub of all rebel activity before the capitol was re-taken by
    Snow.

    Update: The official server will be launching its buildings phase the coming friday/saturday. It will be used to begin building the map and for testing plugins. Launch of public server is still unknown.

    Laws of Panem(Written by Capitol):

    1. Districts may not rebel.
    2. Unless invited, you may not go to the capital.
    3. 50% of all resources made in districts must be shipped to the capital.
    4. No arson.
    5. No destruction of thy neighbors land.
    6. No going into the wilderness, stay within defined borders of your district.
    7. Once a year(2 weeks) you must send a girl and boy to fight to the death in the hunger games.
    8. No escaping hunger game arena, or prep areas.
    9. No defying and member of the Capitol.
    10. Presidents of Panem are chosen strictly from the Snow family.
    11. No murder.
    12. No rape.
    13. No harassing anyone who is an official, and/or has and wealth in your district.
    14. No Theivery

    Donations/Banner:
    Currently, there is only one way to support us, and it is by donating to Panem: Cold Wind Blows. Although the server is not up yet, the money will be used to pay for the initial hosting costs and such, although we already have the money and the server will be going up, this would help a lot and go towards future upgrades. All you need to do is donate $10 or more, and you can become a 'Reserver'. If you do decide to become a 'Reserver', you will get the following perks upon first going onto the server.

    - Reserver tag before name.
    - A home that is not in the slums.
    - 120 coins upon first arrival.
    - 8 loaves of bread (Yes loaves, each loaf is worth 5 slices of bread each healing 1 hunger).

There will be player made kingdoms, or clans, with no land claiming. Griefing is allowed, if you are doing a raid against your enemy, but it is prohibited among your own kind.     Backstory (1-2 LONG paragraphs):On an uncharted continent beyond Valoran's grasping clutches, the conqueror named Olaf was born to a long tradition of soldiers unlike most others. Berserkers, as they tout themselves, are warriors who channel fury deep from their cores, unleashing pure and savage wrath upon their enemies. This fearsome evolution is a product of their unforgiving home, Lokfar - a barren tundra where all creatures must vie bitterly for every resource. Olaf belonged to a seafaring clan known for ruthlessly pillaging any and all villages within reach of their dragon-crested longboats. The last time he saw his icy home, Olaf was embarking on an expedition to pioneer and plunder a distant land known only to legend. However, while underway, a terrible storm sprung up and Olaf and his crew were thrown to the mercy of a roiling and pitiless sea.

    His ship destroyed, his crew nowhere to be found, Olaf miraculously washed up untold miles from ''friendly'' waters on the foreign shores of Valoran, south of Demacia. This unfamiliar place stunned and frightened the Berserker, for Lokfar is not privy to such potent magicians. Approaching them, Olaf hoped that they could use their mysterious powers to send him back to his people. A bargain was struck. Olaf would use his awesome prowess as a warrior to serve the unusual wars of Valoran in the League of Legends, and in exchange the sorcerers would find him a way to return. Despite his participation in the League, Olaf knows better than to trust the ''finger wagglers'' that run the Institute of War. He deliberately keeps details of his life and home from them. After all, with enough information, they would most certainly find the Lokfarians and dominate them as they have dominated all of Valoran, keeping both quietly -- and unwittingly -- in their thrall.

    Beware the war cry of the Berserker. What surges toward you is unyielding, free from the shackles of reason.

    Backstory (1-2 LONG paragraphs): Carlos had a family. He remembers a lot but it's faint. He remembers his family as farmers. They grew wheat and sold it on the town market. It was Carlos's job to sell it. During the winters it was very hard. Seeing as tho the only thing keeping his family afloat wouldn't be able to grow. So most the time he would have to wake at 5:00 am in the the morning to walk 4 hours to the nearest town to work grueling odd jobs. He would get paid very small amounts, and would be very cold to do the jobs, but he really needed the money so he suffered thru. Because of this he got a pretty strong resistance to the cold. Once his little brother became of age to do work at home and start to farm, Carlos decided to leave home. He knew it would hurt his mom and dad but he would come back one day. One day. With tons of money. So much money they would never have to farm again!

    And so Carlos left the farm before leaving a note on his desk explaining everything to his mom and dad. Wishing them goodbye in their sleep he set out to the cold dark world. Carlos traveled town to town, usually with a new master, to study, and learn the basics but leaving before he could learn more, usually leaving before his master woke and stole various objects, making new masters and leaving old ones left him with always a longing for more. He has gone thru a lot but because he had to leave school to help out at the farm he isn't very educated. Also not very strong but is willing to try almost anything. Carlos has never takin a life. Ever. He has killed animals for leather and food but they don't count. Currently "Red" and his new master are crossing boundaries unto a new land his master calls,..."Skyrim"

    Backstory (1-2 LONG paragraphs): I grew up in a nice little town called Whiterun. It had inns, two exceptional blacksmiths, and was pretty much the trading center of Skyrim. Life in Whiterun was pretty normal, you had all the goods nearby you could wants for a price, and for those feeling adventurous there were nearby caves and burrows to explore. I truly loved living here, there was always something to do, people to see, and animals to hunt. I spent most of my time trading with the locals, hunting in the nearby woods, and spending my earnings in the local pub. I guess you could say I was a normal citizen of skyrim, I never went exploring caves or burrows, and I never went to far from home in fear of what I would find and even though I envy the adventurers that explore dungeons and fight monsters I couldn’t sum up the strength to do what they do. I didn’t have the aptitude to perform devastating spells or brew potions and poisons, I wasn’t that great with any weapon besides my dagger and bow, and I doubt any town is looking for a citizen that can pawn off your goods at a fair price and swing a sword like an apprentice companion to be their thane. But mark my words one day I will become a thane and prove I could do more than just pawn off crap for drinking money even if it means leaving the safety of whiterun. Then when I return a hero I will even ask Aela the huntress of the companions for her hand in marriage.

    Ever seen an argonian lady get raped by orc warrior? Neither have I, but apparently that's how I got here. I was raised by argonian gypsies, travelling merchants who took me across Tamriel. I never really was exposed to Black Marsh traditions like Naming Day. Unlike most of my kind, I could not change gender. I suppose this is good thing, as I like women, but not enough to be one. I spent my youth getting into all kinds of trouble. Pickpocketing, lockpicking, all fun. Until one day, I stole from a powerful mage. I read a book about summoning undead to do my whim. I then pledged to devote my time to mastering the dark arts. Then I got bored and took up drinking. Ahahahahaha!

    The summoning thing was fun, I used it as a parlor trick for parties. I was 13 when I summoned my first zombie, had my first drink, slept with my first harlot, and went to my first Imperial Prison. What a night that was! I slept in a cell across from a dunmer who kept shouting insults at me. I heard some Dark Brotherhood lackey took care of him. Anyway, I ran away from my "family" when I was 15. The past 17 years have been a constant cycle of drinking, screwing, fighting, and jailing. I have no idea why the guard never wised up and put my head on a chopping block. Skyrim, ah, Skyrim. This is the place to be! Endless adventure, bottomless pockets, fully stocked taverns, and enough sleazy barmaids to give Akatosh witless pox! I've done nothing here but have good times, and I pray to the Hist that those dragons I've heard about don't spoil the fun
