Colonization is not settling on unclaimed land. It can occur on occupied land. According to Merriam-Webster, to colonize is:

: to create a colony in or on (a place)
: to take control of (an area) and send people to live there
: to move into and live in (a place) as a new type of plant or animal

Neither the social definition nor the biological definition state that it has to be unoccupied.

The lands essentially were spoils of war and colonialism. The Europeans came over and settled/took land. And then when America was officialy founded manifest destiny kicked in and much more land was taken from Native Americans. It essentially was a war and there were battles such as the ones Jackson and Teddy took place in. The winners of war get to avoid being charged of war crimes. Think of the firebombings of Dresden and Tokyo.

Also, America doesn't have any buffalo. They never have. What people call the American buffalo is actually a bison and it is not a Threatened species.

Minecraft is the least of my worries.

Play at your own risk, and then send skype names to OP in a PM not a post. Don't give out personal info to a person you don't know. That said, playing with others can be fun, as long as you are safe about it, so it's up to you.

Hmm, as a parent, I would suggest that kids NOT post their Skype name on a public forum. It would be much better to share Skype names through private messages.

I know it's fun to play with other kids your age, but maybe discuss some internet safety practices with a trusted adult.

Why don't you take a long break from Minecraft. Other forum members have stated that this works best against boredom.
