I did, I found nothing on mounted mobs. Sorry for the trouble.
Quote from BMR13 »Slavery is when you force someone to work against their will, if you are giving them food they are volunteering to help with is not slavery in the first place. But like I said before, I don't think that they would sacrifice themselves for you if you gave them a few peaces of food, I think that they could add a friendship bar or something them makes them want to do more for you.
Quote from Zoythrus »i think that if we implement gnolls (i like this idea alot), then they should come in various colors. some brown, some tan, some maybe even reddish. this would prevent one "race" of gnolls from existing ingame, thus prevents any form of racism.
i think the colors of gnolls should stay consistent in a tribe. so one tribe would have only brown gnolls; another would have red ones, and so on...
also, i like the idea that the gnolls would be near-hostile by nature. if they see you, they wont attack; but if you attack one of them or you hold a sword (or any weapon), then they will become aggressive and attack.
Quote from Zoythrus »by doing it as Nebb, Scooter, and i agreed on, it actually puts slavery in a bad light. it's morally wrong, yes, so you are penalized for it. we are not supporting slavery, nor do we want it to ever be shown as a good thing. we just want to give people the choice to enslave and be penalized, or befriend and reap the greatest rewards.
it would not make MineCraft this horrible monster just because it's implemented. if we clearly show that befriending is far better than slavery, then we have sidestepped a political and ethical debate with the media.

Traps are at the moment, quite easy actually. All you have to do is dig around the trap or just cut the redstone wiring away. This solves the problem of destroying the redstone wiring, but not the digging around the trap which makes it still ridiculously easy.Quote from papareborn »yes, why not make traps more powerful? there has to be SOME sort of challenge in the game. and plus, what kind of medieval castle has wireless transmitters and recievers? unless it takes time for the signal to activate, then maybe.
Quote from Zoythrus »Quote from nebb »Zoythrus Just explained my point adain to dummy. Thanks zoy.
no problem! i just want people to know that slavery of the natives is only a means to an end. you dont "have" to do it, if anything, you want to stay away from it. how hard is that to understand?
Quote from spartacuscat »Quote from Drury »Quote from Sven_The_Slayer »bet notch didn't even read any of this thread.
I bet Notch is not interested even in bows reskinned as arquetaxi's.
It's called an Arquebus, and if he's not interested oh well, it's his game! Plus not having an Arquebus doesn't make it any less fun, it would've been a welcomed addition for me to make ranged combat much more interesting, but oh well. Maybe he'll add a crossbow some people like those.
Quote from gordenfreechmen »So, we're duplicating all the blocks and eating most of the remaining spare block space just to prevent diamond farming? Wouldn't it be better just for them to not drop the block over all?
Quote from we6jbo »If someone creates a trapdoor in one room and places a pressure plate in another room and connects them using your wireless transmitter then someone who runs into your trapdoor will not be able to go back and find the mechanism that activated the trapdoor and therefore it will cause a huge disadvantage to the player. Thats why I am against anything wireless in minecraft because you can not track where these wireless devices are originating.
Quote from Jacos »How about, to make sure you can't farm diamonds, the bug drops a camo shell, which can be made into camo armour?
