posted a message on TabbyChat 2 - SMP Chat Overhaul (New Maintainer)

    Hello,

I have a feature request that you might consider please - ability to type in RegEx capture group variables and have TabbyChat parse it to the server:-

    Welcome \[Newbie\](\w*) to Random Server

in a filter directing this line to a separate tab

    eg

    When

    Welcome [Newbie]--YamCom2464-- to Random Server

appears in chat, I can then type in

    Welcome $1!

    and

    Welcome --YamCom2464--!

    appears in chat.

    Would this be feasible?

    Cheers

Great mod, the spam on the 1.8.9 server I play on is finally getting under control, thanks so much.

I'm slowly getting to grips with RegEx, it's challenging but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. Private messages are the last thing I need to work out. Keep up the good work :)

Privet Drive and the Knight Bus from Harry Potter. Lots of carpenters blocks in this build, couldn't have made it without them.

    Hello,

Is there a way to attach a customnpc horse to a chariot with a lead, just as an aesthetic thing to look like reins?

    Cheers

    1. Is there a way to make multiple copies of a clipboard and it's contents? I'm hoping to use them in a Minecraft classroom and hand out task lists to 20+ students on a clipboard each.

    2. Sticky pistons can't push or pull bookshelves. I was hoping to use a redstone book to trigger a hidden door to a secret room. Bug or design?

    3. Is there a way of forcing MCEdit or WorldEdit to include Bibliocraft items and blocks in a schematic? At the moment when you import a schematic with Bibliocraft items, it leaves them all out. I'd like to be able to share the finished classroom with other teachers.

    Cheers!

posted a message on Custom NPCs

    Hello,

I noticed in the changelog the return of the dialog wheel in 1.7.10c, but I'm having trouble enabling it - the npcs are still giving their options in a list. Ive checked the config file but I don't see an option to enable it. I thought there used to be a command in previous versions, DialogType or something? Has this option moved or have I accidentally deleted the option out of the config file?

    Cheers

I'm trying to copy a customised subset recipe selection across a number of lan clients. I understand that it is no longer possible to save customised subset selections within the gui, but I've noticed that a customised selection is remembered when Minecraft is reopened. Does anyone know how NEI stores these selections? Is there a config file that records them that I can copy across? I've tried copying the NEI directory in config, but that didn't work.

With some trial and error I found it in saves/NEI.

    Hello,

    I'm using NotEnoughItems-1.7.10-1.0.3.74-universal and it's working correctly.

Just a quick thanks for the manual install page here :- http://www.liteloader.com/explore/docs/user:install:manual:1.7.10

Using these instructions I was able to install successfully into MinecraftEdu's third party launcher, and use Chatbubbles.

    Great stuff!

Thanks for the update. The clocks are an interesting feature, very relaxing. The typewriters are... odd! I've set up 1000 typewriters and 1000 creepers and I'm waiting for them to churn out the complete works of Sssssshakespeare.

Hello, I have a problem with big books - when typing, text does not automatically wrap onto the next line when the first line is full. I'm using Minecraft 1.7.10, Bibliocraft 1.7.5, and forge 10.13.0.1180. Tested with no other mods installed. Can anyone else confirm please?

posted a message on Splegg Mod Request
    Hello,
I run a MinecraftEdu server for our local primary school. It's a custom 1.6.4 forge server that cannot run Bukkit plugins.

I've been searching for a Splegg style forge compatible mod that adds a snowball gun or something similar, but I've been unable to find anything suitable. I'd love to see a SMP compatible forge mod that adds a weapon that fires snowballs/eggs/flesh that do no damage to players, but break snow/dirt/ice blocks when hit.

Is this possible? Is anyone capable/willing to take up the challenge?

    Regards,

    DTulip

If you want to earn that money you'll have to get off your **** and away from the computer. Time for a reality check - the likelyhood of you getting any coding work or becoming a youtube sensation before August is zero.

If your local stores and restaurants aren't hiring, volunteer at one you like. Show them that you're willing to work hard and be enthusiastic and you'll be first in line when a position becomes available - which would be more often than you think.

I know it's not the best, but for some people, it's the only way the texture pack will work, if they intend to use optifine.

I've tried the steps detailed on the front page. Did not work.

And even if it did work, it'd mean I couldn't use Rei's Minimap, which I would rather not give up. :P

As such, I'd prefer non-CTM textures than not being able to use this TP at all. ;D

Unless Optifine introduces support for CTM, I'll have to make due without it. Unless someone figures out a way to get Optifine, MCPatcher, Modloader, Rei's Minimap, and Craftguide to all work together. :P

I've got it working with Optifine, and Rei's Minimap using mcpatcher. For Optifine, follow the link on the first page, and follow the instructions -
there are some Optifine settings that must be turned off.
