CTMLib is made by the Chisel team(Drullkus and co, not Cricket or whoever else has a fork), they seem to have built a very nice CTM system for 1.9. Hopefully they'll release it as a separate library for others to use.
Technically we have a separate mod thats you relocate block models from the vanilla/forge json handler to the chisel json handler. You can find the proof-of-concept here. It's not stable and requires Chisel in 1.9.0 to run.
All you need to do is to go to the regular blockstate.json, and put ctm: in front of the model name. I.E. "ctm:minecraft:oak_log". For anything that happens after that, you can refer to the Chisel json assets until we make proper documentation.
I don't know if you're still maintaining this mod, but you have the yellorium block incorrectly being cast from 9000mb of molten yellorium, rather than 1296mb. (144 * 9 = 1296)
Wrong, actually.
One ingot of Yellorium translates into one bucket in the Reactors. This is the same conversion model.
My mod Thermal Smeltery takes every metal meltable in the smeltery and lets you melt them down in the Thermal Expansion Magma Crucible.
Some of your proposed materials are already available in Extra-TCon by Glassmaker or available to melt, via AnotherOneBitestheDust (AOBD) by Ganymedes.
Hey @Drullkus. A friend of mine just gave me a decent idea. Once you get into making the thermal smeltery controller block, would it be possible to add pyrothium as a additional fuel type (second to lava) that would allow faster smelting and 4x production (or something similar)?
Hello, May I request adding your mod into my modpack? It's just a private pack spread around my college so we can play together. I am distributing the pack through FTB with a private pack code.
It works on ingots and ores too, right? Does this mean I can stick a spout to the side of the magma crucible and just use this instead of a smeltery? :3
Thermal Smeltery is a short mod that adds the capability to melt metals in the Thermal Expansion Crucible into Tinker's Construct Metals.
This mod basically adapts every TiCon Smeltery recipe to the Magma Crucible. In theory it should add recipes from mods adding TiCon Smeltery Recipe as well, namely Extra Tinker's Construct.
FAQ
Does it double the ores when smelting?
Yes it doubles the ores.
Can I use this molten metal to make tools/ingots/blocks?
Yes, it's the same molten metals as TCon.
Can I stick a faucet to the side of the Crucible and pour into my casting table/basin?
As long the Crucible can output to that side, yes. (Set that side of the machine to orange.)
So wait, is this all the mod is going to be?
A RF Smeltery is in the plans (Thermal Smeltery, if you please) and may come out some day.
Can I put this in my modpack?
Feel free to include the mod in your modpack as long you're not making money off of the mod content in any shape, way or form.

Hey there! Thanks for your ideas! I'll look at adding some of them.

Some of your proposed materials are already available in Extra-TCon by Glassmaker or available to melt, via AnotherOneBitestheDust (AOBD) by Ganymedes.

Thanks! They're really broken now but hopefully they'll get fixed.

It's already a thing in base Tinker's Construct.
0
Yeah you're free to include the mod in your modpack
It's not that special. :\

I already know that exists. In fact...

All I get are iTunes stuff
However I do see Thermal Smeltery if I google 'Minecraft Mashed Potatoes Mod'

It's based off of what you get in the TCon smeltery.
The Magma Crucible GUI? It's the TE Magma Crucible? It's just recipe adaptation. Unless you actually mean the new machines I added
Sure.

That is mentioned in the FAQ

Yes and yes
