Well, you can always look on the server hosting part of the forum. It doesent take much to run a minecraft server, unless your going to run it for more than 20 or so people. If its only going to be about 5 slots, thats not really that bad, you could try it out.
Hosts are a rip off, if your interested, I could run something for you free.
I started on normal mode without even knowing the controls... When night came I panicked and dug a three hole down and survived the night. Then when I got to surface I went to a forest to cut down some trees and there was a zombie child (shudder) underneath... Instant death. I was mentally scarred. Whenever I see one RUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!!!!!!!
