Me and my friend are splitting the cost so I might do 20 slots to start with, but 10 if its more expensive than a buck per. Here's what I want, which I expect only companies or professionals can provide...
- Can run at least 99% of the time
- Is less than $1 per slot
- Can provide a minimum of 10 slots and a maximum of 150 (if less that's fine but rather have higher).
- Of course, low to none lag.
- Can run Bukkit easily, and I can install new plugins quickly.
I have hosted my own servers, i have bought servers from many company's and websites. I have been playing minecraft since alpha, so don't tell me anything that you think i already know.
I'm looking for a Server Provider that i can get 50+ Slots 4G RAM for only 35$ per/mo. I'm not sure if this is possible or not but i am willing too look. If you have a server i can rent from you or you know a place i can that meet my requirements please let me know in the comments.
I want it under 5$ because, I don't need too much ram. I need enough for 5 players max, and 2 plugins which are not big files. I had BeastNode, but the servers lagged so much WITHOUT the plugins I had to get a new one. I am looking at one currently

Second make a file and name it Minecraft Server, In that file put in the craft bukkit file :). Once youve done that then make a new Text Document and put in the following code : @ECHO OFF
"%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xincgc -Xmx1G -jar craftbukkit-1.2.3-R0.1.jar
PAUSE
Once youve done that save it as START.BAT
Once youve saved it, Run the start.bat file, It should get all the file out, Once it says "Done" type in stop. Once it stops you need to click enter. Type in your IP onto your internet explorer and you should get to your routers thingy, next go to the Applications and gaming on the router page, Once your on the routers page you need to type in Minecraft As the Application, Second put the Start and end as 25565 And make sure your protocol is both, make sure your ip address has the ending Ip to it like 105 or 104. Once thats done make sure its enabled and then click "Save changes" Onces thats done go to http://www.whatsmyip.org See your ip and then type it into minecraft AND put :25565 at the end, MAKE SURE U RUN THE START.BAT FILE!! all should work
