I've tried this countless times, but it wont give me copper shards.Quote from AnonymousProductions
Use a primitive stone pick to mine copper to get shards(or place a copper ore on crafting grid)
There is a video now. (in the building area)
nah, unless config can support some kind of string array.

Okay. If you can't do that, I hope you can do the villager trapdoors thing. I'd love for them to actually use a basement I make in their houses.Quote from rivvest
It's turning out to be quite the challenge, but I will keep plugging away at it.
This isn't really on my radar - I have no knowledge of village generation. Sorry! I hope you enjoy the mod otherwise!

Just notice, that you can only do so many things with modloader, and have so many textures. Thats why almost all modders HAVE to switch to forge eventually. I didn't mean to say all of them are crappy, it's just that they don't do much or just start in modloader usually. There are barely any exceptions.Quote from Kodehawa
It is false.
Having a mod with ML or compatible with ML not mean that the mod it's a crap.

I dunno who fed you this bull, or why you thought/think this, but surprisingly, I haven't seen a mod that has edited or clashed with forge. And I've used just about every mod, base class files included. Besides, not a whole lot mods do base classes anymore. The only thing forge isn't compatible with is modloader because it's inferior. Even MODLOADER mods can work with forge, with the correct hooks. I have coded. Modloader is crap. It wouldn't let me do anything or help me. Forge got my progress going SO quickly. Cpw is an advanced coder, and the forge team puts a lot of time and work into it. Modloader isn't that elaborate, It IS put better together. Modloader wasn't that good, and the starter at the beginning seems more like a weird phobia to you. Also,I'm pretty sure 70% of mods USE forge. Also notice how when mods start crappy or just start simple, they use modloader, but they use forge later because its a professional loader, and allows you to do more advanced things. Actually, mods using modloader are more likely to conflict with each other. Modloader is so buggy as well, it's just very flawed. I would rather trust professional coders than a guy who just makes assumptions about it and bases that to make his opinions. That's like saying a normal guy claims a Brain surgeon's work is wrong even though he has no real experience on that specific matter and just makes assumptions without taking the risk.Quote from RyanDolan123
Actually, just so you know, All Solid blocks have this behavior already. Glass does too, but it works a little differently being transparent. Leaves, however, don't (Except in fast graphics). The fact that you have to render 10x the sides of the leave blocks is kind of crazy. That's exactly why I made this mod.
Before this mod, I have always had optifine and I set everything to fancy---Except leaves. Why? Because the leaves cause a huge FPS decrease, especially in biomes Jungle and Taiga. Now that I have this mod, I no longer need to worry about that.
Last time I checked, Leaves is the only block rendered like they are.
1. It's causing crashes for other people
2. I am modifying parts of the code, both ModLoader and Forge aren't going to help
3. Forge modifies so many class files it's bound to be incompatible with anything
4. How is it easier to code?
5. How could you possibly say it's just "put together better"?
Jun 21, 2013I'm glad it's forge compatible, but is it possible to make it not edit base classes so you can Put it in mods folder? Probably not, but I think it's possible to reduce the number of classes edited. Also, MOST of the TNTS don't disappear when ignited, like 70% of the time. Is it possible to make all of them never disappear when ignited 100% of the time? Also, I was wondering if you could consider making mod igniters (Like Rareores's Pheritium Igniter, or Enhanced Portal's glowstone-upgraded flint and steel.) compatible to they can light the TNTs. At least Enhanced Portals one, because It's a pretty popular mod and the new flint and steel is only upgraded by lighting bigger portals, and double uses.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

I like that gold Idea, but I think it should have coal in the crafting recipe, along with a lava bucket, Like Phobophobe's Easy items mod kinda does it, but it uses iron rod instead of gold, and you craft the rod with 3 iron nuggets.(9th of iron ingot) because using lava bucket makes a bit more sense than smelting, for it to be a nether item.Quote from Barodas
It kind of does use coal, in that you have to smelt the gold rod to turn it into a blaze rod.

I have seen over 20 superfalt villages since then and none have had a tavern. I like the barmaid behavior idea, but it seems all she is interested in is making children with the men. She's barely ever in the Tavern XD She's not a very good barmaid It also seems like she runs away from me when I spot her, as if she doesn't want to be seen by me.Quote from AngleWyrm
That hasn't been my experience...
Jun 20, 2013Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Well it is interesting, If I can chase her around XD But apparently taverns don't spawn in superflat villages, but do in overworld. Can you fix that?Quote from AngleWyrm
sengir's Forestry mod adds a beekeeper's house and beekeeper in testificate villages. The beekeeper will sell you great frames for your beehives. A couple worthy extensions to that mod exist as well, Extra Bees and Magic Bees for Thaumcraft 3.
And speaking of Azanor's Thaumcraft 3, he's added a wizard's tower and a wizard to the testificate villages. It's the only place on earth you can find a little glowstone.
Unlike a rather large slice of the video game RPG genre, Minecraft villagers don't just stand in one place picking their nose, waiting around for the player to come visit them. Is it an improvement?
Jun 19, 2013I found the barmaid, but she disappears in a flash, not even in the tavern. I eventually found her after spotting her like 3 times, on a villager's roof, "meeting" him, hearts were flying up. It was funny. Which proves to me she likes to get active with the other villagers when slacking off. Great mod. You should make other small mods like this, which can including other single buildings. It would be funny it she actually had a nose model, but much smaller.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

Okay, I think I will turn it off o-o That looks too confusing.Quote from AnonymousProductions
you can switch it off if you want.
1: When stating, break some dirt and put them on crafting to get rocks, get some wood by punching as normal
2: Gather binds(tendons from animals, vines from breaking vines with sharp rocks, or string) and craft some primitive tools(recipes folder Tier0)(recipes need all of 1 sort), meaning you cant have 1 tendon and 1 vine
3: The stone pick is not an actual tool, it can't mine stone.. but stone drops shale(turns into rocks) and and copper drops copper shards
4: use copper shards in a similar recipe to make primitive copper (this is as effective as wood). and can mine tin, stone, coal, etc
5: keep going until you can forge bronze.
(as for weapons, you can make spears and javelins, rawhide armour can be made.)
For light(as coal cant be mined with primitive stone). craft a firepit(recipes folder) and use "dry rocks" to light it(dry rocks have a low chance on working, so expect some failures). clicking a stick on a firepit when lit makes torches.

Wait, where do I find the test version changelog? I want to play this badly but I'm confused on some things explained no where else.Quote from AnonymousProductions
doesn't really explain the problem in the picture
well support involves adding an unlocalised name for everything, and completely removing the names themselves, (to avoid clashing every name would need to be called minefantasy.name, and each of the names (rather than using .addName(field, name) would have a lang file do that)
it says that with "Hardcore Crafting" old tools are disabled, theres a new survival guide by the test version changelog
that's what's normally aimed for
