    That's what most mods do, and not really what I'm looking for :) This many types of ores wouldn't really add to the "natural" feel of minecraft.. The progression up to diamond is great, you continually get better/faster tools, but when you reach diamond.. Well, you know ;)

    Most of the mods are outdated, though. :( I agree that it's better when there's something unique to the tools/armor, rather than them simply being stronger than diamond, but most mods that try to do that end up being too complicated, I think. I'm looking for a mod that adds a natural progression beyond the diamond tier, not something super fancy ;) Tools that break blocks faster but have less durability would be nice, for instance. Obsidiancraft seems like a sweet mod, but it hasn't been updated yet.. :/

    Hi!
    In my opinion, most of the mods that contain ores are way too large and complicated. For example, SimpleOres adds numerous new ores and isn't really simple.. :P It'd be awesome if someone made a mod with 1-2 new ores above diamond tier! (Including tools and armour.)

    If someone were to make a mod like this, I'd appreciate it if they sent me a message :) And if one already exists, post it here please!

    Just finished Lethamyr version E! (Yep, I'm a little late to the party) :) I played on normal. This was the first time I completed a ctm map and it was quite fun, especially the black dungeon and the red dungeon, although my favorite one was the brown dungeon. (It was borderline impossible if you catch my drift. :) )

    My least favorite dungeons were the dungeons in the
    swamp/mushroom
    area. They looked awesome, but the cave spiders and skellies forced me to tunnel! :P

    I didn't find any diamonds before the last two dungeons, so I barely used that armour. :/

    What other maps do you recommend? I was thinking of doing spellbound caves, inferno mines or waking up. I might give uncharted territory 3 a go though! :D

    One block is one meter, not one foot. Nine feet would be about three blocks in minecraft. ;) As for the idea.. well, I'd prefer some other type of mob. :P (Or more ocean content!)

    I hope charcoal doesn't get changed.
    If it smelts only 6 items, would it be worthwhile to make it? To make three charcoal, you use two planks and three wood. That's fourteen planks in total. Three charcoal would, if changed, smelt 18 blocks. Fourteen planks smelt twenty-one blocks. If the torches are awful and there's no point in making it to smelt items, why bother using charcoal at all? Don't change a feature that works well. :-)
