It's a greatly needed update. I want new items too, but I understand that a lot of things need to be tweaked first. people deserve a true challenge.

The Enderdragon can't even hurt you! What kind of an end game is this!!!!!

The new world height change is a welcomed sight. I want to be able to look up and not worry about hitting the skylimit. I want them to fix the border walls and biome issues when they change the terrain generator, because that would mean they could add more awesome things to the generator in the future. Jeb is fixing/has fixed the biome overlap in 1.2 if my interpretation of his post is correct. 1.2 will be trhe first step towards seamless terrain transitions.

World height and biomes screwing up are two issues that many felt they would never try to improve upon. the fact that both are being improved upon in a single update, while the modding API is being worked on probably with the help of bukkit in the background. It is a good time to be a Minecrafter!

He hit it right on the nose for me. Also I'm definitely looking forward to jungles and cats.

Um...this is really old but I'm updating it, I swear.

Thank you! I'm so glad you're updating this! I got kind of sad when it stopped getting updated. This is one of my favorite packs.

But in all seriousness I do believe it is better to have loved and lost. There are many experiences that are more than worth having had and I believe love is by far the most important. It really does hurt to lose a true love, but I wouldn't trade these days for anything, even if I lost the love of my life. This love is something I will never forget, and it just wouldn't be as good if I had never had it in the first place.

Oh, well I'm glad I helped you notice that, but I don't want to take credit for something I didn't actually notice lol. I think my thing with the grass has more to do with it looks like it has a really flat edge on the bottom. As I said I don't think it's bad, it's just a personal preference I think. Having the side-grass look like it's got some parts that are longer and shorter I guess are just something I find appealing.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear. You need some better screen shots that actually let me see what your texture pack looks like. I cannot give an opinion on something if the screen shot is so small, stretched, and doesn't show what anything looks like. I do not download texture packs unless I can see what they look like in the screen shots.

I'd like to give you some opinion on your texture pack. However with a screen shot like that it will not be possible.

I'm not saying they are bad, but I'm not sure how I feel about the sides of the grass. However I love everything else I'm seeing in the screen shots. This looks amazing. I'm definitely going to get it. Thank you for putting your hard work and free time into something so well done for the community!

So true. You know what I'm leaving this forum up but scrapping this. New texture pack. I'm gonna work really hard! Might make it 32x. I'll still keep up with this but.
I'm overall not gonna mainly focus on this.

:biggrin.gif: go make a kick ass texture pack!

Sadly, your name for this pack is all too suiting. It really is just another pack. There's nothing that stands out in this pack. Nothing has any style. All your stuff is copied/pasted and then recolored. All of the textures in the screen shot leave a lot to be desired. I'm not saying you should directly copy or that it's the only good 16x pack, but if you want a good example of 16x pack with detail and well thought out textures, look at the Painterly Pack. Look at it and find the the textures you really like. Then ask yourself what you like about those textures. What is it about those textures that makes them look appealing? Also there are several great tutorials on here that have tons of tips on how to make good looking and interesting textures. I myself have started making a texture pack, it's hard work. Doing a quality job on every texture individually is not easy and it's the reason I haven't worked on it in a while. Hopefully when I have completed it though, it's something that people will look at and go "This amount of detail took patience.". I'm not saying your pack is terrible either, but it's nothing new. I've seen a lot worse, but I've also seen a lot like this. I hope none of this has come across as too critical, I'm only saying this because I think you can do a lot better if you try. I want you to do better.

Well, been playing with it on for a bit now and it is as awesome as I thought it would be. The only things I can think of as suggestions is that the grid on interfaces is a little hard to see (especially the crafting table. Let's play find the 3x3 grid! XD Also it would be awesome if your furnace texture looked like it had a fire going on in it while it's smelting. I love it when packs do that, and I can see if they are smelting from farther away than the fire animation will show. Thanks again!
