Ah, nice. They fire from dispensers too, so you can set your fireworks up and trigger them with redstone from a distance. Add a diamond to the star recipe and it makes a neat effect. Add a fire charge to the star recipe to create a larger explosion. Adding glowstone dust to the star recipe adds a twinkle effect. You can also add multiple stars to a rocket and they will explode at the same time. Add a gold nugget to the star recipe and you get a star-shaped explosion. *deep breath* Add a feather to the star recipe and the explosion particles scatter randomly in a burst. Wow, they got REALLY detailed with this fireworks thing.
May I suggest adding a signed book to the star recipe so it writes whatever the first line of the book is in the sky. It'd make for an awesome Game Over message at the end of adventure maps.

Jul 26, 2012DraxisWuf posted a message on 1.3 Pre-Release is Ready Now!Wewt! Of course we'll be lucky if even just Forge, MCP, and ModLoader use this extra week to update.Posted in: News
Most modders are gonna wait till the official patch and/or their user base gripes enough. Actually, most modders are probably going to wait for 1.3.1+ before updating.
Also, I'm getting missing terrain with this update after about an hour of play. Definitely looks like a mem leak.
Oh, and my escape key no longer works. I have to alt+tab to get the menu. - To post a comment, please login.

Cool! Only issue I've noticed so far is that this new version seems a bit laggier than the previous. Especially outdoors where walking around with a lit lantern drops my fps from ~70 to ~20.

Is which click you use really that important? Is it conflicting with another mod like Battlegear or something?

It was discontinued. Even the last version was quite buggy though, so you're not missing much.
Maybe it'll return someday in the far far future when Forestry and Metallurgy meet update parity again.
It's actually fixed in the last Jenkin's release of Metallurgy 3. I know people say not to use the Jenkin's release, but I've been using it for quite a while now and it seems far less buggy than the ancient official release (Including the name bug).

Might have something to do with his forcing his mod to load last, to ensure it loads after Tinker's and is able to overwrite it's items. Same with hunger overhaul and Pam's Harvestcraft. I've also noticed your mod disables the unstable ingot recipe from ExtraUtilities.

Any chance you could upload a mirror for the new version? Curse are notoriously slow to deal with these kinds of things and I'd rather like to try your new unlit torches version with lanterns.

Fixes saving / loading disabled recipes for me, and I'm still not seeing any more crashes. However, it's still disabling recipes that are changed by iguanaman's various tweak mods. And trying to add a new recipe causes a dialog with no buttons or controls to appear when an item is placed in the crafting grid. There is no way to close this empty dialog aside from restarting MC.
As an aside, would you be willing to release a small standalone mod that just adds the 'Switch' button to the crafting bench gui? It's the best mechanic for tackling duplicate recipes that I've yet seen.

You can do that with Asie's. I'd say it's even better. Of course I'm talking about the 1.6.4 version. If you want 1.7.2, use Pokefenn's version, which is based off of Asie's.

Any plans for Thermal Expansion / Railcraft integration, whenever they happen to update?

So this latest version fixes all the crashing for me, but now my disabled recipes don't seem to be saving or loading (Whichever). If I disable a recipe, close MC, then go back in, the recipe is re-enabled.
