    We're adding as little amount of blocks and items as possible. We will probably only use about 5 or 6 block IDs, and about the same amount of item IDs. A config file is also being added so the user can adjust the IDs of everything, including the forthcoming biome and other things. Along with that, once the 4096 block ids are useable, then there would be no use of Forge for this mod.

    At the moment, we won't be adding Forge compatibility as it would probably be more work then it is worth.


    Yeah that makes perfect sense :P How many sprite indices does it use though? If it's 5-6 then my minecraft wouldn't crash, because I have 20 left.

    The items that some mods use (sdk gun mod) are so many that there really isn't any room left for other mods. Sdk's mod is the best mod for killing zombies :P

    So I guess it's so people can use your mod with a lot of others too, or maybe a version with only mobs?

    After gathering all the needed materials, I attempted to craft the catalog. I checked and double-checked to make sure I was following the recipe, but nothing appeared, as though the item doesn't exist.
    I then re-started Minecraft to see if that would fix the problem, and now I'm getting the black screen of death again. Should I try re-installing the mods again, or is there some other simple problem I'm stupidly overlooking?
    I hope someone can help, I've been watching my bf use this mod and it looks awesome, I can't wait to try it out :)
    EDIT: It only seems to be giving me a black screen on my old world. I created a new world, and as long as I don't try to log into the old one, it seems to work fine. Going to gather my materials again and try crafting a catalog in the new world.


    (If you didn't already)

    You may have forgotten to delete the META-INF folder.

    Just reinstall, but delete that folder :)

    Something like that.

    But seriously, what if you had telekinesis in Minecraft. Stopping time anyone?

    Just an idea, but it would be AMAZING

    I am having an issue for the textures with Infiniweapons installed. The cannon, crossbow, musket, training dummy, etc are all whited out. Do you know of a fix for this? It has something to do with the two texture files missing things. Is it possible for me to fix? Or is it a choice between the infiniweapons textures or the normal textures?

    If you are using an automatic installer, make sure modloader (and everything else) is in a .zip file and it was installed correctly.

    You may want to try to do it manually, because auto installers sometimes do a half job.

    Goto
    Roaming
    Appdata
    .minecraft
    bin
    minecraft.jar

    Then drag all the modloader contents into the .jar, and same with the giant mobs. Compress (if needed) you probably won't need to.

    And then run minecraft. Also, an error log might help with the squid crashes.
