So I went to the realms in creative and looked around. I gotta say they are unique. That said, they are really barren. Is there any plans to add dungeons or villages or something else to each of the realms? Sure they look neat, but there isn't really much to them. For example, the deeplands is pretty lacking in anything from what I could see. Sure there is a few ores here and there and a few mobs, but that is about it.

Maybe try adding some dungeons, unique treasures and possible some friendly npc villages to the areas. Maybe a few unique companions in each realm to recruit and have them like friendly npcs you can take home and have live with you or something. Just anything to really liven up the realms and give some deep meaning to going there.

posted a message on Remove the requirement to log in to play minecraft offline
I purchased this game a few years back when it was using the old launcher. One of the major appeals to me was the ability to play offline. Recently, due to construction work, I was left without the use of the internet for close to a week. In that time I played minecraft until it crashed and logged me off. Once that happened, I could no longer access or play the product that I have payed for.

So, I am here to officially request the ability to continue to play minecraft without the need to log in be added. This is of course, meant for single player mode. There are obvious issues with trying to play on a multiplier server, with the major one being the lack of internet. So I request that somehow this be looked into. I am other wise completely fine with this game and truely enjoy it. I just want to be able to access what I payed for When I want to regardless of the internet.

I think mojang is taking the approach what they should do is warn the people that when buying mine craft anything that's not in single player or realms we wont interfere and your putting your own self at risk of spending your money. for ex if a 10 year old where to steal there moms credit card its not mojang but your own fault because you agreed to the terms and conditions. another reason you mojang people should keep in mid you are already in a negative net balance and need more players to buy minecraft. the LAST thing you should do is make people mad. and to top that off look at who's on your tail. hmmm let me think maybe terraria. they will take advantage over your pain and people will join there game instead. not such a good idea for EULA isn't is. this is a simple and easy way to fix all of this hub bub guys come on why do you need to be rational.

    1. I can hardly understand what you are saying with that jumbled mess
    2. Servers have no impact on minecraft sales. If anything it takes away from sales because people use cracked accounts for multiplayer.
    3. terraria is not on their tail. Never heard of it until now. Its a completely different game style, worse imo.
    4. They are protecting Their product. You are not allowed to make money off of Their product, which is what servers are doing. Its illegal.

They need to get on it and start cracking down on the EULA violators. People will have a much nicer experience when they are not treated as second class because they don't donate for items that make them op.

I never implied buy a seperate computer for Minecraft, I only said if you are buying a computer for $600 (the average price of a desktop is about $500-$700) then it is capable of running a decent Minecraft server. I also stated that if you are living paycheck to paycheck, then hosting a Minecraft server is not for you. Focus on your needs first when you live paycheck to paycheck, then focus on your entertainment.

You don't have to be living paycheck to paycheck to be unable to just go out and buy a $500+ computer on a whim. Most people can't just go do that. They have to at least save it because that is usually more then their monthly allowance of money they can spend on entertainment. I never implied that you were saying to buy a separate computer either. I merely said that going out and buying one that much will have much more reasoning behind it then a minecraft server. It would be for higher end games that need more then what a minecraft server costs. Well, anyone who is a gamer that is.

The only people who can go out whenever they want and just drop $500 or more are people who live with their parents while working, teenagers who have a part time job (after saving of course), or rich people.

The only way your server can stay safe is if you don't tell Mojang what you're doing.
Not my server. A good way to stay safe is to comply to the EULA too. I'll see how the server reacts once August rolls around. I have a few servers I play on that are neglecting to comply since they think they are above the law. Since that is what this is all about. That and people complaining to mojang about their kids buying stuff.
