No I haven't and don't even think about spamming this thread with that answer
What? I was just trying to freak you out a bit
Also if you think that is weird, try taking a look around some Abandoned Mineshafts, quite often a perfectly square or rectangular room spawns in them with the vanilla terrain-generator code.
for me I don't see a perfect doorway generate randomly. this is the first time I have saw this gosh :/. If its rare just say so... ITS A PERFECT DOORWAY. I said before I think im overreacting but im in shock I saw this for the first time. Also it just creeps me out more than anything. But it did scare me a little
But considering that invisibility potions are pretty inexpensive, I think a mob head is too much. Also, I wouldn't want to waste such rare drops on little pranks.
True, though invisibility potions do need to be made rarer in my opinion. Maybe if the mob head had say a durability bar which slowly depletes with each potion made, eventually destroying it once you've made a specific amount of the potions?
Good idea, though maps and compasses are not exactly that hard to obtain. Maybe having the requirement be that the villager needs several items, like a map AND a compass plus say a watch and other supplies, would be an idea?
I like it, though I think for mob potions it might be an idea if they cost the head of the mob you want to disguise as. That would give mob heads another use and would make that set of potions rarer. Not to the mention the fact endermen aren't exactly that difficult to fight.
How come none of the recipes work? I see the tabs in creative mode for the items but nothing is in the tabs other then the crafting tables...I know somehow I messed up adding the content packs, but I don't see how. I went to flans folder and added Simple Parts and WW3 contents and there's nothing when I start the game up. Could it be because I'm using FTB launcher using the Mindcrack pack?
Did you make sure to extract the contents of each zip file into the .minecraft/Flan folder? I had the same issue myself until I realized I had to do that.
The minecraft world generates in "Chunks" which are 16 x 16 x 256, meaning they are all the way to the world height limit, and down to bedrock. The "biome" affects the whole world beneath it.
I can see how this might be possible with 2 types of biomes: above ground and below ground. I can also see this being possible with cube chunks.
Good suggestion though...
They've changed the height of chunks in the past. I could see this working, they'd just need to tweak chunk heights again and rework the world generator. And while that would be quite a bit of effort, the generator is pretty bland in general at the moment and really does need some changes anyhow imo.
They'd probably still get in the way in combat, plus they would make storage minecarts and maybe even actual chests obsolete since you could have an army of them following you around.
Personally I'd say they should tidy up the coding for wolf AI before they attempt to put anything similar into the game. Should something like this be implemented thoug, I think they shouldn't act as chests, but rather there be different types - some would help you gather specific resources, like a lumberjack or miner, while others would help you fight either in melee with swords or at a range with bows.
Being able to provide them with tools, weapons and armour would also be neat and would be a means of upgrading them. They should also be able to be commanded to either follow you, patrol an area or stand still guarding a specific point - maybe through an interface where you can put different objects in to give them different orders?
As for how you acquire them, I'd be inclined to have them be purchasable at NPC villages for decent amounts of gold - after all, gold really does need some more uses.
They'd also need to implement large scale mob invasions too if you ask me, at least on higher difficulties, so that you cannot simply build an undefeatable army of them and actually have to ensure you actually put them to good use instead of just buying as many as possible.
Don't really mind if he makes the world deeper or not, though it would be cool, but I've been wanting underground biomes for ages now - it would be amazing to come across a massive underground sea or sail along underground rivers while mining.
Plus more types of plants/ambiance is needed in caves, vines really add to the atmosphere though they're only in jungle caves and stalagmites would be awesome. Underground weather would be interesting too, like making it go foggy in certain underground biomes or having water drip from the ceilings when its raining up above.
Got a really annoying bug with the latest version of Ye Olde Pack and the World War 2 Pack. Basically whenever I play on my SMP server with those two mods I cannot fly the planes unless I'm in creative mode. If I'm in survival the controls are unresponsive and if I get out of the pilot's seat my character dies with 'death.plane' being given as the cause. If I get out of a passenger seat the plane just turns into a dropped item.
Any idea how to fix this or is it merely a problem with this particular version of the mod itself?
you can say: its starting to get boring.
not: this is ruining the game. i used to like the game but now that this happened it sucked. I think minecraft is going in the totally wrong direction. BLAHBLAHBLAH
I fail to see the difference between the two, either way it's complaining - the first statement is merely worded more politely than the latter.

Someone obviously hasn't encountered Herobrine yet...

Gold sounds more fitting for a pharaoh, though they really need to add more uses to it for it to be worthwhile loot.
