I wouldn't want those textures as default... If Mojang wanted to hire a pixel artist, tell them to look at people who are already in the minecraft community making resource packs. Here are some examples:
https://www.planetminecraft.com/texture_pack/18-vaders-alternative-block-pack---1000-youtube-subscriber-special/
https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/unity
https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/itembound-16x
I know not everyone has the same tastes, but, aside from Unity, Vaders Alt Blocks is perfect for thsoe who want a bit of spie to their existing worlds... I highly reccomend it, Itembound is there for those who want to have really fancy stuff.

not a whole lot happened... but hopefully some interesting stuff can come from that "Code Builder Beta". here's to the next generation of minecraft modders! Expect to see a lot of the same stuff that you get form an MCreator mod, Obsidian, Emerald, Redstone, Stone, and every other block varients of armor, ore, and tools.... but hey, it'll teach them to actually have fun coding, so those who continue with their mods go from obsidian armor that makes you invinsable, to the next Aether mod, or the next Buildcraft... as long as Micro$oft doesn't make Modders have to pay to submit, then players pay to download them...

ya know, as long as they don't say "Hey yea, no you can't download texturepacks or mods and put them in yourself, for free, anymore, you've gotta buy these ones to do it" by all means let creators support themself this way. But the moment you put free control of mods/texturepacks/whatever behind a paywall, you can kiss your asses goodbuy, as the vast majority of the player base will leave/not update ever again, because they can't play with their favorite texturepack without having to pay for it.

Honestly, I think the new terracotta blocks are... kinda ugly... I mean, I like that we have more "directional" blocks like that, it'll be good for resource packs, but the textures on them are... kinda ugly IMO... I know that some people like them, but I'm just saying I'd probably re-texture them for myself when I use the

I'd love to see the day when your able to say "Okay, I want to have 5 AI players and Me in this world" And then to have them be able to talk between eachother using the chat, and for you to interact with them as well, fight, build, and so on, even have them "simulate" another player, "logging off" and "logging on" dynamically as you play. That would be so fun! Then eventually "introduce" them to mods, to make he experience even more fun... one day right? one day...

Ah, I see what your getting at then. That does make sense, especially with poor Joe. I suppose I should rethink what I say... here:

I guess I was a little harsh... the reason I'm so against it, is all the little kids claiming they play minecraft, then say that they play it on the Wii U...
I like little kids (not that way) I get along well with them, I helped my old daycare out one summer because it was fun. I talked to some of the kids, and they said that they liked to play minecraft, and as I was talking to them, they said that they played it on the Xbox, and I died a little inside... I know its good to get the game out on multiple systems, but its the younger kids (about 10-14) who are impressionable, they probably have only played the Xbox version... and think that its "the best" If they could play the original PC version, they'd realize that the Xbox (and playstation) version is... worse... much, much worse... But... then again... that is my opinion, and every one is entitled to their own -

Will servers like Mineplex be able to keep thier payed ranks with special prices for things, but allow non-payer ranks to access the same things, but for a higher price? -
Jun 16, 2014Drakoflame posted a message on EULA Revisited: an Updated Q&A From Mojangso, I have a question, I'm not complaining or anything, but I seriously want an answer.Posted in: News
Servers like Mineplex, which have special rankes like Hero, give them access to certain features.
An Example would be: Super Smash Mobs, Hero's and Premium have access to specific mobs.
Now, with some of these rules such as the ability to give players cosmetic changes and the ability to charge for some minigames and mods (look in the Q'n'A). Now, because of the ability to charge for some minigames and the cosmetic changes for people who (whatever the word is for people who give money for something, not Donators), the way I see it, servers could make it so people who pay, don't have to pay AS MUCH as people who don't pay.
Another example would be: Hero's pay XXX's for Mob1, where as non-payers pay XXXX's for Mob1. The way I see it, that is allowed, but they can't say that Hero's can pay XX for Mob2, but non-payers CAN'T buy Mob2, even if they have alot of X's.
Could someone be kind enough to explain that to me and let me know if that is allowed?
Also: Voting? is this affected by the EULA at all? Can I still vote for a server and get the things they say from the Voting? - To post a comment, please login.

1.
can you tell me where in the config it is? because I can't find it... like I said, i'll probubly just cheat one in and use it souly for glass (I don't like cheating, but I do want my glass for windows)so... after totally derping out... I found it... it was in the "Hard Core crafting Options" section... *sighs* sorry for the trouble
2. Ok, I just didn't know and I havn't tested it. The only problem is, its cheaty... in a way, because you can sift gravel, sand, and dust to get copper and tin ore chunks, crushed, dust (respective from blocks). but you have to smelt them into an ingot... the only problem is, it'll be an Ex Nihal ingot. If what your saying is that it does use oreDict, then when I put a Ex Nihal copper ingot into a forge, it should heat it up. BUT, that might not work, unless the Forge changes any registered Copper Ingot into a "Hot Copper Ingot" from your mod, which happens when you heat up the ingots. otherwise, it won't work, and Ex Nihal will have to change something, or you could tweek the code a bit to do that. (take any copper ingot in the Forge Ore Dictionary and turn it into a MineFantacy Hot [ingot name] Ingot)

how... i've checked the config like...10 times... if I have to dissable hard core crafting I don't want to... (I like having to get the sinue and fibers and stuff)
Also, I had a laugh when I realized "dang... if I had Ex Nihal, it wouldn't work, expecialy if MF doesn't use the Forge Ore Dictionary!"
and if it does... I see possible Sky Block stuff in the future.... (would be VERY hard... maybe a custom one... with one copper ore placed far away, and a single vine hanging from the tree so you can collect vines with a sharp rock (spawns in the starting chest, along with a quick "read this so you don't fk up..." ya know, because EVERYONE does their first time!)
Also, AP, BlackJar, would you two be willing (if I get it to work) be admin/OP/Mods on my server once we make it "invite public"?

First: how do I make Glass? honesty.... second, what do you use for your video's? I'm thinking about updating a few of the outdated ones (I understand the mod pretty well... aside from a few things... *cough* glass *cough cough*)
Also... on the wiki page, it talks about a grinder... is that a thing? or was it removed? or is it just hidden in NEI?

My laptop is a Windows 8 Dell notebook (15 inch display) that got "corrupted" (it freeking deleted its own OS because Win8 = worst OS ever. I'd pick Apple over Win8), its now Win7 (still like vista, don't talk smack, never had CPU issues, ran MC on Normal render with 20+ FPS vanilla), And I think i've only got.... 47 mods? biggest ones are MF, Biblio, Openblocks, Extra Utilities, Peacefull Pack (Inspiricraft), GrowCraft (apple, core, fishing, celler), and Forge Micro Blocks. Of course I have NEI (who doesn't?), but thats it.... hopefully I can find whats causing the visial bugs with Opti and MF...
And that clothing mod... is worse than the one I found... that ones is just... even worse... I hate High res textures (probably the only 32x texture pack I will use is Last Days... but its not working for 1.6.4 for me). But thanks for trying

Ok:
1. I mean, you have your leather stuff (stealth, rough, vanilla) and you can either add some padding to it on a tailors table, or pound a few plates onto the chest and sholders (figuratively) to add a smidge more protection to it. nothing insane, just a little bit, but you have to choose: protection from blunt weapons, or protection from projectiles/sharp weapons! (padding and plates respectively). Also, with those things, if you make them seperate ID's, they could easily be added to the list for EnviroMine (ads just a llliiiiitle bit more fun to the whole survival thing~) with the padded leather making you warmer, and the plated leather armor helps cool you off when its hot, but makes it even cooler when cold. The other cool part is, with Enviromines special setting that allows you to do that with armours, Dragonforge armor could be harmfull if warn to long, mainly because it super heats you (after all, dragonforge tools set mobs on fire and can ignite forges/bloomerys/firepits)
2. There is one, but I don't really like it (32x items, looks gaudy with vanilla textures), and there is just to much added, and it gets cluttered. Also, something as simple as being able to dye the armor could count it as "clothing" for example: Better storage, dye-able cardboard armor, doesn't add much protection, but looks some what O.K.
Also... seriously... how the heck to I make glass? its... odd having holes in the side of my houses using fences for my windows... do I use a bloomery? a Forge? or do I really have to save up all my bronze to make a large Furnace? (if its that way, I think I'll just have to "find" *cough cough* NEI *cough cough* a furnace JUST for glass)

Also, I love how making iron is alot harder, which makes any mod that requires alot of iron alot more fun because it takes longer to get those things.
If someone would be willing to send me a link or let me know about a mod that adds clothing (if AP doesn't want to add it), I'd apreciate it, because I'd really like to make an SAO type server with jobs, and as I said, MF is perfect, expecialy with the tool tiering that makes it allot harder!
0
And, *sighs* sorry about saying this, but I actualy wanted to talk about the tailoring part... maybe... if your willing, and only if you want to, we could talk about some of the recipe's, because I just thought, thinking maybe "well, maybe instead of using padding, you ADD padding to existing armor and "upgrading" existing armor. only if you want to... and sorry if I sound like I'm trying to push things onto you, I just love helping mods in any way I can

Also, to what you said about my Idea, it wouldn't be to hard, just look at some of the Forge Micro Blocks mod stuff, and I'm not talking about 2 billion planks in one block, i'm thinking maybe like 4 in one, or 8 (making a hollow block type thing). Tho, if you arn't able to do something like that, I could just keep using FMB to cut up the blocks and use them, but I won't be able to make a pile of wood like I could with yours, if you do it (like 4 on the bottom, 3 ontop of that, then 2, then one, making it a full sized block) as I said, if you can't do that, its fine, just decorative things ya know!
Also, I was just wondering... would it be possible to make the leather armors (maybe just the rough? but it would be cool to dye all leathers, other than the stealth). And maybe... this is if you want to, and your ok with it, could you maybe make it so you could use the pads and stitch them together to make clothing type things that add half a point of armor, making a total of 2 armor points, they can be dyed, and have 2 places to be dyed. and you could also put two rounded plates above the shoulders on the chestplate with armored shoulders, bringing the chestplate armour up to 1.5, giving you 3 points of protection. Again, that's only if you want to, because I think it would be really cool and add stuff for those people on Multiplayer servers who want jobs, like Tailors, because that would give them something to do!
0
so, this may or may not have been said... but i'd still like to say it. Planks. their crafted in the place of sticks, and you get 8 from 2 boards... now, why can't we place them? I mean, their only 1/4th of a plank, so it would only make sense that you could play 1/4th of a plank down around your house, making a pile of firewood next to your Bloomery or your Fire Pit, break one off and throw it in, keeping them going for hours on end (well not really, mainly the fire pit). And then you could just rub a little bonemeal on them to make them lighter, a little black dye to make them look more like spruce, and a touch of pink dye can make them look exactly like a Jungle plank! And with them, you could outline your house and make it look all fancy like!
So... basicly what I'm trying to says is: could you make it so the plank item can be placed down, adding yet 1 more decorative thing to the already amazing mod that has like... 2 decorative things in it?

Also: I'm trying to develop a modpack for a few of my friends that we'll use on a private server (this may or may not happen, honestly, we don't even have a server set up yet), and we may or may not invite other people to come play just to add people
