I forgot to say that I love that emeralds are super common in mountains. Now, I finally have an excuse to mine out mountains! This will help a lot in obtaining emeralds for trading.
This thread is too talk about the best protections for various items such as armor, swords, bows, and others. I will give my opinion, then others can either agree or disagree. (I have no idea if all of these will actually fit on these items, as they might show the infamous message, "Too expensive!")
Armor:
Helmet: Aqua Affinity, Protection IV, Mending, Thorns III
Chestplate: Protection IV, Mending, Thorns III
Leggings: Protection IV, Mending, Thorns III
Boots: Feather Falling IV, Protection IV, Mending, Thorns III, Depth Strider, Soul Speed III
Swords: Sharpness V, Mending, Looting III, Sweeping Edge III, Knockback II, Fire Aspect
Bows: Power V, Mending (yes, I opt for Mending over Infinity lol), Unbreaking III
Pickaxes: Efficiency V, Fortune III, Silk Touch, Mending
Axe: Efficency V, Mending, Unbreaking III (I prefer swords over axes even in 1.16 as that's just my style)
Shovel: Efficiency V, Mending, Unbreaking III, Silk Touch
That's all I felt like listing, tell me in the comments if you want me to add more items. (except hoes lol, I don't even use them that much)
I am really fascinated by the new 1.17 update. I have seen Ph1lzA try out some of the snapshots on Twitch and they look great. The axolotls are pretty cute, even for me. The deepstone textures look fantastic. When you walk on it, it sounds great. It will definitely replace normal stone bricks as the primary block for castles. I am already planning of new builds on my survival server. I especially love the way they retextured ores in the deepstone areas, as well as retexturing the ores to help blind people distinguish between different ores. Even though the warden hasn't been officially added yet, it will be cool to fight a new mini-boss. All I have to do is get some crits in and bow spam. Either that, or just YOLO it and eat a Notch apple while slicing away. That worked really well when I fought a wither on my realm. I spawned the wither underground and ate a Notch apple. I then just crit it out pretty easily with my two other friends.
It could very well be either a player-made structure or a naturally generated structure. However, I am favoring the naturally generated option as no players that I know build their base with cobwebs. Again, both options are very realistic. I guess we will have to find out!
The last two guys have summed up Minecon really well so I will try to include other details. MineCon is an annual Minecraft festival held every year. It is like any other convention, but with Minecraft. If you attend MineCon, you will get a MineCon cape that you can showcase. It is also supposed to be a great place for Minecrafters from all over the world to meet up and talk with each other. You can also meet some YouTubers that attend there.
If the pandemic quiets down enough, it should be held in Orlando, FL in late 2021. Of course, dates haven't been fixed yet and it is still a possibility that it will be virtual this year again.

I see how you would say that. I noticed that only after you said that.

I also think that he cut out a lot of the grinding. Videos like that cut out a large amount of actual grinding.
