What about people who don't want their structures ruined?
we already earned the right to not have them griefed in survival by using lighting, an existing mechanic which has existed in Minecraft for a long time.
if we wanted griefing we would play on an anarchy server or in the case of AI, use of mods.
Not everyone plays Minecraft for the same reasons you and fishg do.
Maybe we could solve that by only implementing that in hard mode? Or possibly making the spawn rates of these player raids super rare. This feature should be for people who welcome a challenge, therefore making it SUPER rare in hard mode.
Just wondering because I am making builds nearby and do not want to board the caves up, nor do I want them injured.
They do go into caves if it comes into their path. I also understand your concern with the villagers getting hurt. When I was constructing a huge wall around my village, I noticed that a villager who lived on the outskirts of the village, would wander outside of the village, and OUTSIDE THE WALL. So, I had to wait for that one villager to come back as he came back right before night started.
Almost everyone I know is complaining about them 'being lazy' while Mojang is doing their best to make snapshots every week. Let's appreciate them for a moment.
Thank you! Mojang is working especially hard right now with the major update coming along. And although I do sort of understand some of the complaints thrown in their direction, Mojang's developers are super talented, devoted, and dedicated to their jobs. So, thank you, Mojang. Thank you for creating one of the best video games ever. And thank you for not creating spinoffs that everybody knows is a money scam.
The mechanics you propose would make it rare, but very much possible, to have to fight a raid VERY early on without being able to prevent it. I suggest making it so the Player has to call some attention to themselves, by killing a few Evokers or Ravagers first, so that either defeating a village Raid or raiding a Woodland Mansion is required.
You could probably offset this by only making them spawn in after a certain number of days. I would certainly welcome the challenge as this would also be fun for multiplayer SMP servers to help build stronger communities.
Putting the Totem of Defending so late into the game makes little sense, as, by then, the Player would most likely have either good enough equipment to deal with Raids and/or a base designed in order to make them easier to defeat.
True, Totems of Defending would make almost no sense for End City loot since at that point, players would already have full protection 4 netherite armor. Therefore, it should have a very small chance to spawn in Pillager outposts and dungeon chests.
Gotta say I hope that isn’t true. But I knew that null was fake. He was just an example.
thank you for your opinion.
If you really want to spawn "null" in your world, I am sure that there are mods (maybe? i rly dunno that much about "haunted entity spawner" mods") that spawn null.
I haven't noticed significantly more emeralds in mountains than in previous versions; and i think the biggest cluster/vein i've found was three ore, which even fortuned only got me like five emeralds. You'll still always get more emeralds faster trading than mining; but until you've developed a good trading village, mining will get you a handful of emeralds here and there for wandering traders.
Like I said, it is just a way for me to get emeralds when I am not abusing the stick-fletcher trade while mining for blocks.
Does anybody know of any 1.16.5 Fabric mods that allow you to skip the night if a certain amount of players sleep? I have seen this plugin on SMPEarth (the creator server) and want it on my server.
I was actually thrilled when I heard that they boosten spawn rates of emeralds in mountains for 1.17. It finally gives me an excuse to go mining for cobblestone in a mountain for building material and also now for emeralds. But, I see how it can make this new surplus of emeralds way too OP. I just think about it as a new source of emeralds so I can trade countless, expensive enchanted books that will give me infinite power on SMPs I play on.
MineCon is an annual Minecraft festival held every year. It is like any other convention, but with Minecraft. If you attend MineCon, you will get a MineCon cape that you can showcase. It is also supposed to be a great place for Minecrafters from all over the world to meet up and talk with each other. You can also meet some YouTubers that attend there. I am pretty sure that sums MineCon up. Oh yeah, you can also get a MineCon cape if you attend in-person.

Automatic moving parkour seems fun and you can use it and share it with your friends. So, I chose that!

I meant in Minecraft 1.17. And I was just assuming that the other guy meant that too.

Well the land below the castle didn't have much time to enjoy it as I blew it up to make it look better.

Maybe if the Lush Hider was guarding a new temple structure that is in the forest, then it would make sense.

That sounds like a good place to build a jungle wood mansion!
