Ok, before I start, ive been watching alot of Minecraft creepypastas so if this is just me overreacting and being scared over a little glitch i apologize.
Like 10 minutes ago, i created a new world (on java.) on the little world creation loading screen the map thing wasn't generating the correct way. It was only going around the sides of the already existing parts like a game of "snake" and getting bigger and bigger. (I apologize if you dont understand what im saying, i wasnt recording as i didnt know this would happen) Once it reached 100% it didnt stop and just kept going. I thought this was just an easter egg added in my mojang. Next when it was supposed to load in the map thing just got bigger and added an extra portion to the map. It suddenly put me into the world and i heard VERY loud wind sounds. My skin was just all pitch black and i was on a tiny island. I didnt move and immediately closed the world. (because as i said, i was very creeped out because ive been watching alot of minecraft creepypastas.) It took the game longer then usual to go back to the title screen.
So, what happened?
My best guess is that your game was bugged. That sounds like a crashed world. Yeah, it is normal to overreact after watching creepypastas. That is just how the human brain works, unfortunately.
I guess some seeds are better than others. On my Realm, End City was only an island away. Nobody wanted to bridge because we were messing around and were daring each other to knock people off.
It would be better if Villagers could be safely stored in mall and supermarket buildings in player worlds, so they didn't look like slaves, and slavery is not something we like to be reminded of, but unless they're in non loaded chunks or mushroom fields biomes, this doesn't work.
Yeah. Very few people actually go through the effort of building villager farms that look a little more homely. I copied DanTDM's villager farm building from his hardcore series in creative mode because I didn't feel like shepherding them in.
Hmmm. Other forum guys, correct me if I am wrong here, but I believe that is the texture that Minecraft will default to if you don't include a texture for a certain block. For example, if you are missing the lilypad texture, the lilypad texture will default to the missing_tile structure.
I really don't think this has any real meaning. When I play Bedwars, on this one map when you are on a bridge or diamond gen at that level, you can see the void's color change. I never thought much of it so I think it might just be a bug. Either that or Mojang is the greatest comedian ever,

Yeah, I can find a gateway back the the End Island about every 2-3 islands.

Yeah, I agree with vidkiddo on the fact that this is just a placeholder that the Mojang devs just put there.

Yes, but Hollywood spread the character around a whole lot and gave me nightmares for a week afterwards.

I just save the coordinates of the entry point somewhere and then explore. Either that or build huge cobblestone pillars to track my progress.

First time I managed to use the "elephant in the room" joke ever.

Which texture pack is this? (just so I can see what you are seeing because your image is super small)

Tis a sad life for thou art villagers that are nothing but traders to thou art players.

I raided an End City in less than 30 minutes with 3-4 of my Realm friends. Other than that, I have never ventured to an End City in survival.

Meh. I don't feel any shame about debating whether to add an infamous Hollywood-esque character into Minecraft as they literally added zombies.

Glad to see somebody enjoyed my poor attempt at a joke.
