I have only played up to the first intersection so far, but it's fun already. I just don't think that much bridging should be needed.
Glad to hear it. And yeah, the first area is very bridging-heavy, as are some later areas, but I'll be cutting down slightly on the amount of bridging you'll have to do in future versions.
WELL THEN! Nice map so far... I would give you a screenie but I logged out underwater raging after a skelly shot me off the island in TOTD so itd just be me in a plank house -.- ... Also minecraft forums won't let me separate sentences by line... yay... 4 wool in, 1 death, but I made myself a very fun nice rule that I see as a challenge
Hoarder- Never let a rare item run out of durability, place these items in a chest by the victory monument (durability bar doesn't matter)
Also with your signs saying pay attention to details I saw many things in the water that I checked out... needless to say I wasted an hour or more swimming for nothing -.-
Glad to hear you're liking it! And your rule gave me a really cool idea... Gonna add it to v.1.1. :3
I was in the emerald area swimming in the lava with fire resist. Then out of no-where I start taking damage. I can't find a source so I continue. Then it happens again, I'm at 1 heart. So I stand in a corner and an argo'd zombie pigman attacks me. The room was full of zombie pigmen none of them argo'd except this one. I'm assuming it was in the spawner, if your going to have argo'd zombie pigman don't just have some of both otherwise people will overlook the argo'd ones. Anyways all my rare loot, as well as all the diamond I found in the cave were on me when I eventually died. I'm raging until I recover then I'll get some iron from the caves and start again.

Oogh, sorry to hear that. Out of curiosity, did the "non-agro" pig zombies have swords or not? If they did, that's a spawner malfunction and I can fix it. If they didn't, they are actually agro, but the lava is probably causing them to lose their agro status. I'll probably experiment with that a bit. You may want to stop playing and wait for the new version (it may be out soon, it may take a few days). Or, if you really want to, you can keep pressing forward. Looking towards your next report.
Just starting. 1st, maybe add a box at the first tree with seeds and saplings (for the unlucky), some wood, a couple axes (wood or stone; enchanted or unenchanted), a hoe, and some bonemeal to help speed farming a long. 2nd, and this could be a bit of a major one, you put silver fish above the fleecy box. I was right above it, mined one stone block to get down the wool safely and almost caused a feesh apocalypse and fell out of the dungeon. Will post with more.
You don't have to break the silverfeesh to get to the wool.

There is actually a hoe hidden around the starting area, but you can be excused for not finding it. I probably won't be giving people all those materials right off the bat, as you can easily farm the resources necessary to get them in I01 dungeons (skellies in the Pit and saplings in Bleakshale.) But I will definitely be adding some more helpful resources in the next version.
Holy mother of text-walls! Thanks so much Krose! At the moment, I don't have much time to reply to what you said, but I have read it and it will definitely influence future updates. Thanks again!
@Sniper, I'll definitely do that in an update. Thanks for the continued feedback.
Well, here we go. I've established a few starting resources, and I'm now going to the Tears of the Dead! I will edit this post later for feedback.
I got the Brutesmasher's Axe, the White wool and I think I'm good so far.
EDIT: Alright, I'm stuck here for the night. But wait... what the?
lolyeah, that's an I02 area. I play with Normal render distance, so people using Far render distance may see things like that sometimes. Let me know if you see any more, though I honestly don't think I can fix any of them.
I'm way farther than that now, I'm at I3. Nice to place all that wool I was carrying.
I had no problem with any of the areas expect the igloo village. The zombies with leather armor we're really op it took way to many hits(it just got boring) to kill them. They weren't that bad if you were careful, but they need to be nerfed I'd say half their current health. Great job on TrollTech, I really like the area. Just so you know, I only have the power 3 bow, and the chain armor. The rest of my rare loot is gone or broken.

Nice to hear you liked Trolltech. I'll definitely consider lowering the health on them, but I can't promise anything. If more people have a hard time, it will happen for sure. Also, kinda sad to hear about you losing the loot. Don't worry; there's some nice replacement loot for you in I03.
Carrying the white wool right now, waiting for all this iron ore to smelt. :3 I am kinda curious though; is the island behind the Peaceful Sky Habitats a part of this area? Kinda confusing because it looks so different, but I'll assuming it's part.
Really enjoying everything so far, but running around avoiding max-spawn at night isn't the most fun thing. I completely understand why it happens (I struggled with max spawn issues with my map as well), it's just a bit slow to work around. I'll go a bit more in-depth when I get the second wool and place them on the Monument.
Like I said, I'll probably do 1 or 2 every day, so if you keep checking it it'll be fine I wouldn't want to spam your thread too much!
I'm completely fine with frequent posts in my thread. Right now, there are a lot of people all playing it at once, so even if you made four installments today (not saying you should), it wouldn't be seen as spam.
1. How did you give the Palm-o-Flame a fancy name and description? I wanna know. D:
2. I didn't really get a good look at it, but I'm pretty sure your bridging kit at the beginning says "Briding Kit"
3. Speaking of the bridging kit, I'd suggest more blocks. It's not enough to bridge out everywhere.
1. The "Modify Item Strings" filter for MCedit. You just place the item in a chest, select the chest in MCedit and type in the name/description as well as the colors, applying the filter again for any additional lore you want to add.
2. Ah, I'll take a look at it.
3. Yeah, that first kit is the only instance where I use a level 1 kit (2 stacks of blocks), every other kit after that is a level 2 with 4 stacks of blocks. I'll probably change it so it's just called a "Dragonian Bridging Kit" without a level and they all have 4 stacks of blocks. Thanks for pointing that out.
I'm ready man. I have downloaded your map, and I'm good to go!
I'm going to tell you feedback as I go, and how will you go about it?
I'll post whatever feedback I can come up after each area, how about that? I took a very quick look earlier today at the start, and saw you had it organized into Area 1, 2, and 3, so I figured that'd be the easiest way to do it. People in my thread seem to be giving feedback about the first three areas, so you can split up your feedback however you'd like.
I played the map legit for the first 3 wools, then went into creative and investigated each area thoroughly. I'll post my feedback soon, giving my thoughts for each area Prepare for a long wall of text, filled with screenshots. I'll put it all in spoilers, don't worry!
Walls of text are byootiful. :3
Though I'm curious; why did you go into creative? Just to check things out, or did you get stuck?
I like this snapshot update, and the mob eggs are a really nice addition. However, I feel that the "sheep eat grass to regain wool" is a bit overpowered. I'm not complaining, I use wool for carpeting a lot, but it seems kinda unrealistic for the sheep to regain their wool so easily. It might work better to have them eat the wheat grass to regain their wool, and only after a timer of like five minutes. Still, nice snapshot. :smile.gif:

In the future, feel free to post something in my thread each time you add a new installment; I want to be able to see it right when it comes out.
