one of the extra bees serums of a thaumicbees trait causes the game to crash if you hover over it, and it breaks NEI searching if it is in NEI. So remove one or the other, or NEIaddons to fix NEI.
Is there are ores that Galacticraft adds? They should be only on Moon. Or you mean ore that adds Basic Components?
P.S. I wanted to ask you, on what version you are?
Oooh, I just assumed that Galacticraft added the ores that it uses. I didn't see any dependencies other than forge, so I figured all the metals it needs it generated. I see on the galacticraft support forum that it recommends TE installed alongside, and I see that others are using basic components. If this requires other mods to spawn the ores that are used that perfectly answers my question and explains why there are no settings for it in the config heheh.
Looks like I was making a big deal about nothing haha, thanks for your persistence in answering my question bear4190.
I guess now my question is, how do you play the mod if you don't have any other mods installed that add the ores it uses?
oh and to answer your question I was trying Galacticraft-1.5.2-a0.1.35.262
DragnHntr, you can disable Tin/Copper spawn in IC2 or Basic Components in configs
That is true, I also disabled tin and copper in forestry, but my world is currently already generated using Thermal Expansion ores with denser and deeper spawning than normal so that I have enough copper and stuff for all the mods that use it. If I add Galacticraft, any new chunks I explore and any new Mystcraft worlds will have both TE and Galacticraft ores, and if I disable TE ores now I will have the problems that there are two of the same kind of ores in my overworld, which I hate, and also that galacticraft copper spawn rates is probably insufficient for my needs.
I do appreciate your response and trying to help, you are the only person who has replied heheh
Why do you need to disable them? You can still play with several different ore or oil and they will be used and crafted as one thing. I mean you can use IC2 ores for GC or Basic Components crafting. You can use BuildCraft's oil to fill the rocket. GC uses API of every of these mods. I have 3 different types of the same ore on my server and it's ok
Sorry if I understood your question wrong
I know I COULD play with multiple kinds of the same ore enabled, but I prefer not to for several reasons. If one goes manually mining in a world with a lot of worldgen, inventory space is at a premium. It is a waste of space to have two partial unstackable stacks of what should be the same ore.
In an automated mining/smelting/sorting system, for each extra type of the same kind of ore you have to make sure it is set up properly to be dealt with. If it can be pulverized, then yeah it would come out as the same copper bar in the end, but if it is not in the ore dictionary it will not, which was one of my questions.
The most irritating thing for me about having multiple copies of the same ore in a world is just how stupid it feels to have two stacks of different kinds of the same ore that look different and are effectively the same thing. It is kind of hard to explain but seeing this in a modpack I have created just feels like I did a poor job on the pack. If all of the mods I am using that have copper could not turn off their worldgen I would have 4 or 5 different copper ores being generated. It would get out of hand and is not a good thing.
Even if this ore is in the ore dictionary and I could disable all other copper for example and just use this one, I would be limited to how this mod generates the ore. If I could disable this one I can then set up Thermal Expansion to spawn the copper at a density that will give us the appropriate amount of ore to satisfy all mods that use it. I don't expect galacticraft to add ore spawn customization to this extent, but it does seem odd that it cannot be disabled.
tl;dr having two kinds of the same ore is not a viable solution for me.
Forgive me for what may be a stupid question, and I am sorry if this was answered elsewhere but I did not see it in the OP, on the authors website, on the wiki, nor on the forums.
There is a considerable amount of worldgen in this mod it seems. My question is, are the metals and liquids in this mod in the forge ore/liquid dictionary, and if so can I disable the ones that are added by other mods such as copper or oil? I saw the ability to disable oil worldgen in the config, but that seems unwise if it cannot be replaced by buildcraft oil, but neither do I want two different kinds of oil in my world, and the same goes for the different metals. I did not see any way to disable the ores in the config.
It is not just decorative. Having a stand where you can see your thaumonomican at any time without having to take it out of a chest, or out of a bag and put it on your bar just to check a recipe would be very useful.
Bibliocraft does have a book stand but it does not allow you to read the thaumcraft book.
Whoops, fixed in the betas now. Expect a 2.6.1 shortly (as is normal for our releases...).
Thank you for your quick reply! It is amazing how on-top of your mods you are. You are probably my favorite modder, I wish more of the major modders had as good communication as you do sir. I am also really enjoying MFR now that I have finally tried it. RedNet is a much needed alternative to a certain other mod, and the machines are fun and easy to use. I had used powerconverters long ago and the new(ish) version is fun to use and set up. Nether Ores is also an old favorite of mine and I am glad it is back in your hands again.
tl;dr belated welcome back to minecraft modding, you are amazing and your mods are great, keep up the good work!
I did have two minor question/suggestions. The Grinder in MFR does not pick up drops from mods that are not vanilla drops. For example Tinkers Construct makes cows and chickens drop extra leather.feathers which end up on the ground. I'm not sure if it is possible to have the grinder pick up all drops from a mob but that would save from having to build backup systems to pick up all the drops.
Another thing I noticed, in the most recent version of MFR, immibis microblocks no longer work with rednet cable. Now that I think about it, that might be an issue on immibis end.
I know nothing about modding, so I have no idea if these are things you could possibly change, or if they are issues with the other relevant mods.
Thanks again! I am looking forward to getting more into MFR!
I have a Liquicrafter fed by a thermal expansion aqueus accumulator attached to an Applied Energistics ME network and being ticked by a rednet controller timer for the auto crafting of water cells. When I update to the most recent version of powercrystals core and MFR I get this crash:

Removing the liquicrafter with MCedit allows the world to load again, replacing the liquicrafter alone doesnt cause it to crash again, but putting a water bucket and empty cell into the template side causes the same error.
I have been working on building a pure node by my house, then used crystal cores to pull a nearby node in range so it merged into an over 1k pure node. It was two crystal core pulls from where I wanted it to end up, i did the first pull no problem, re set the final core to move it into position and... the core doesn't activate. I have rebuilt it a dozen times in different positions, even trying moving it back the way it was before, but the crystal core suddenly refuses to activate any more. I can still move it a little by planting silverwood trees in range.
The damn node is literally right outside the room I built to house it, does anyone have any idea why this node would suddenly refuse to be moved by crystal cores any longer? Any help would be appreciated this is really frustrating.
I'm still working with Ali4z to get a new thread running and we'll have one soon. meanwhile we've started our Wireless Redstone page on the SlimeVoid site.
Enjoy the downloads! Current addons that have been migrated are Wireless Remote and Power Configurator.
We've also added an addon to allow compatibility with Littleblocks, which is being released momentarily.
Hope you'll all agree that it's worth the wait!
I appreciate you keeping this mod alive, and I dont want to be one of "those guys" but I dont suppose there could be a 1.5.1 version? I didn't see it on the site you posted, nor on this thread.

Removing the liquicrafter with MCedit allows the world to load again, replacing the liquicrafter alone doesnt cause it to crash again, but putting a water bucket and empty cell into the template side causes the same error.

The damn node is literally right outside the room I built to house it, does anyone have any idea why this node would suddenly refuse to be moved by crystal cores any longer? Any help would be appreciated this is really frustrating.

I appreciate you keeping this mod alive, and I dont want to be one of "those guys" but I dont suppose there could be a 1.5.1 version? I didn't see it on the site you posted, nor on this thread.
