Okely dokely it's character time. Woo yeah. I haven't finished this yet, I don't have time to write the bio right now, but I want to post this so I don't lose it or something. I should have time to write the bio tonight. I guess you can comment on the finished bits now. Be aware some of it may not make sense until the bio is written, such as his last name, but whatever.
Name: Bolldhe Wanderer (Bowl-Da-He)
Appearance: Bolldhe is around medium height, but massively built. He has very broad shoulders and thick arms, he has a very weathered face, littered with scars and creased from looking into the sun. His lanky dark brown hair hangs down around his head, not under control at all. He has rough stubble that's looks as though it's been cut by some sort of dagger. His ears hide under his hair but his eyes shine a very disinctive and intelligent blue. His teeth are not looked after and are dark, some places sit empty from fights or unhygiene. He has quite a handsome, chiselled face, but it's hidden under it's disrepair and unkemptness.
Bolldhe generally wears a thick linen shirt, darkened by sweat, blood and dust. His pants are torn and muddy, but fit him well and are strong, made for a working peasant. When wearing shoes he uses thick soled boots, and underneath those boots his feet are tough and worn. On his back rests a blue leather backpack that carries any items of interest, including several pieces of food. It too is worn, though it has been carefully looked after, and there is one patch on the bottom that has been sewn.
Birthsign: The Seed (Evra's sign, labour and all)
Starting location: I'm not sure yet, I'll update this when I learn a bit more about where every body is, Bolldhe is a wanderer so he'll start wherever'll be most convenient.
Starting inventory: The clothes on his back and his backpack, inside the backpack is camp food and several containers of water. A chipped but sharp iron sword rests in his backpack too.
I'm a lazy bugger and Imma write this later when I have more time. Mmmmmmmmkay? Mmmmmmmmkay.
Other: He's not really as strong as he looks, just muscly from a lifetime of work, he's not like that dude from Indiana Jones with the muscles and the plane and things.
Hey Hugs, I'm back again. Hopefully my curse doesn't continue and end this roleplay too. For those wondering about my curse: every roleplay I've been in has died an undignified and undeserved death. I am not a good luck charm apparently.
Hopefully everything is good enough (apart from the bio, I'd be disappointed if this current bio was good enough gosh), just let me know. I don't mind if you rip into it with your talons, more people should really do that to me. Be as mean as you want.

Mar 3, 2013Dr_Genius posted a message on Official RP Player Index (Nuked as of 9/14/13 and with another build going on)I'm back. Again. I used to roleplay a whole lot here, then I came back. Then that RP died and I got disheartened. Now I'm back again! I'm sure a few of you remember me.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Likes: RPs that are roleplayed by individual characters. A firm storyline (though not a strictly adhered to storyline). At least 1 paragraph per post. I don't mind what style of RP, as long as it captures my interest within the first paragraph of description.
Dislikes: Sci-Fi. Anime. Roleplays based on games & other pop culture (unless it's spectacularly good and by somebody I know).
Activity Level: Medium I'd say. I post a couple of times a day, more on weekends. But if I don't have a roleplay I kinda wander off and forget about finding a new one, so message me if you think I'd be interested in yours.
Type: Probably hardcore, I am absolutely obsessed with my english composure, and I've been known to write posts that take a long time to read but I don't know what intermediate really is. I'd say hardcore from your description.
Thanks bro. Hopefully I can get back into doing it.
Aug 25, 2012Canadia? Check that out for a second. Canadia? Don't worry, I do that all the time. Silly Canadians.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Anywho, I'm not sure who I'm waiting on, probably Feo seeing as I'm in the ragtag group, though I think somebody has just approached us so it could go any way.
Aug 21, 2012Dr_Genius posted a message on [Launcher] Magic Launcher 1.3.4 (mods, options, profiles, news)Okay, first up, this launcher is totally awesome and I've recommended it to lots of friends since it's so easy to use.Posted in: Minecraft Tools
The being said, I am now having my first problem with it. I'm trying to install Super Slopes (link) and when I try to install it says there are no mods found. I know that that's covered on the first page, I have had that error before and been able to fix it, but I've done what it says on the front page (which is what I always do) and it still says that.
Anybody else had trouble with this mod or know how to fix it?

Awesome pack by the way, cannot wait for a 1.3.1 version.
Aug 6, 2012Jush nodded and sat at the table, a drink was delivered and he took a nervous sip. The liquid burned his throat and tongue so he pushed it to the middle of the table and sat hunched over in his cloak. Soon enough another man approached the group, exclaiming he would join, and Jush took a quick glance and then stared back at the table, refusing to make eye contact with anyone.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Laughter abounded in the pub, he heard a glass break, but over the general din of the place the owner didn't seem to hear. Jush swiveled his head slightly to get a better look at the people inside the pub and the differentiation astounded him, in the various villages there were different kinds of people, but here he saw unshaven people, clean looking gentlemen, he saw tough looking brutes and he saw elves and other races that the Darven Orsa had only whispered about in legends. The place mesmerised Jush.
Jul 24, 2012Still sitting slumped against a wall Jush watched as the man who had shouted about the bounty entered the pub. His group consisted of some odd people, Jush had never seen a lynxfolk and had no idea what to call them. Jush stayed sitting as they sat at a table. He did not want to rush up, and while he waited he surveyed the pub and he listened to the laughs and crashes. The atmosphere was amazing to Jush, he had never been in a building like this, so full of talking and so loud.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
The door to the pub opened and Jush glanced at who had entered. Another lynxfolk, this one did not approach the man from the market. Instead he seemed to be hanging back, much like Jush. At the entry Jush finally decided to approach the man, bundled up in his cloak, not a single piece of him showing he approached, they were in conversation but even so he stood at an empty end of their table and spoke to them.
"I heard you speak. I want to join, I wish to hunt for bounty," his speech was sloppy and he knew it but he hissed his words out and hoped that the man would understand. "I am Jush."
Jul 15, 2012Jush had sat in the market for around 2 hours, listening to conversation, learning, mentally storing information about the people he saw, the food he saw, the houses, the architecture. He found the city fascinating, so different from his people. Right now, he imagined, his srakthen would be sitting in the grotto, the commons would be either catching fish or staring at the images carved into their home, hoping for salvation. The priests would be praying to their gods - those that Jush had not quite let go of - and the warriors would be carving into their armour, or sparring, to show off their strength to their fellow warriors. There, everybody had their place, usually lower than the priests and warriors, but here everything was different. Here everybody bought from everybody, Jush had seen no merchant beaten because somebody thought the price too high. Jush had even seen somebody in fancy clothes wander through the market, chatting to the commons, buying from the merchants. It astounded Jush how two cultures so close could grow so far apart.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Throughout his stay here in the city he had already scouted out various 'homestays' as he called them, as he had no other word for them. He had decided upon one in particular, not too far from the market, fairly cheap, and cheaper since Jush had agreed to sleep in the basement. He preferred hard floors to soft beds, it was something in his past that he had never gotten over, and he doubted he ever would.
He had also kept his eye out for the reason he had come, he knew not what he was searching for, but he was sure he would know when he saw it, though he did not know how he would know. Then a human, and not a particularly high class human as far as Jush could tell, had spoken above all the rest, and Jush had seen more of the humans amazing ways. If one of the commons in Jush's land had done this, they would have been exiled and killed. Either this human was sure he would not be found out, or he was allowed to do this.
The human had said something about an 'pub,' and while Jush did not quite understand what he meant at first, the name of the 'pub' had struck him. He had seen it while searching for a potential 'homestay' and so he finally had a word for the places. 'Pub.' He tried the word out on his tongue, surprising those nearest him as he said 'pub' to himself a few times. The man had said to meet at 'sundown', he didn't know what that meant however, he had no idea what the 'sun' was, so instead he wandered toward the pub, slowly, meandering, watching people as he stepped past. He glanced at Ortheus to check how long he had been, the great ball of fire had dipped slightly, but not much. He had not spent too much time out here, even if the meeting had started he would still have time to understand what was going on. He did not know why this quest interested him so much, he did not want a bounty, and he did not want to hunt, but something drew him toward this man. To him, this meant it was what he came to Partheum for. So he made his way toward the pub.
He opened the door and made his way to the counter, asking the bartender for a glass of milk, he had discovered the delicacy in some of the villages he had been in, but the man just barked out some laughter and went to serve another customer. Jush just assumed that there was something wrong with milk here, so dismissed the bartender and his rudeness and went to a wall with a view of the entrance and sat down, resting himself here.

Uh, I'm no moderator, but Muttonhawk asked you to remove the things at the start of each different section, like where it says name:(obvious), so you might want to edit it to fix it. Personally I'd say the biography was too short, but wait for Mutton to post anyway.
About where is Parthaeum located in relation to the coast of Parthos? I like to know exactly where I am situated.
