There's a file in minecraft.jar called 2char.png. find that, and erase all the parts that you want to be transparent on your character and then replace the old one with your new one.
I remember when I first began my journey in Minecraft... Oh what great times those were! My life was filled with joy, but now... Anger, frustration, ragequitting! You see, recently the Minecraft client has been crashing far more often and it's gotten to the point where I barely even bother playing anymore. If I start a new world I'll be lucky to be able to play for 5 minutes before I get a black screen. If I play an existing world I might be able to get 10-15 minutes of play time, but it will inevitably end with a crash. What am I to do? I can't even play long enough to get anything done, and even if I do, once the game crashes nearly all of my progress is lost. Please, give me some advice here!
@Darkbloodrav: I think it would look a lot nicer if you reduce the brightness of the colors on those wristbands, they're obnoxiously bright as they are O.o
I propose that wool be changed so that it can actually be used as real carpeting. This can only be done one of two ways, either change wool blocks to be pretty much the same size as a layer of snow (no further explanation needed?), or make a new carpet block that would have same texture as wool (or maybe a different one) and would also be the size of a layer of snow.
It could be crafted like so:
[] [] []
[] [] [] = wool
The only problems with this method is that it would take a little more work for Notch to implement, and it would require more wool to cover the same area, which means you would need more
I just recently opened up my first nether portal in my latest world. I have been going back and forth, collecting different resources and trying to establish a nether base. The main thing halting my progress however, is not ghasts, but that every time I exit the nether, the game crashes 3 or 4 seconds later. Has this been happening to anyone else? Is there a way to fix it?
