This is a somewhat vanilla(ish) server
A little over two months into a brand new 1.11.2 map. Our aim is just to have fun with
like minded adults and enjoy the game for what it is without a lot of plugins or mods.
If it's able to be done within the game, it is permitted. PvP between consenting players is fine..

(with separate inventories of course)

- Theft and/or griefing is not allowed
(rollback protection)
- Bi-weekly resets on The End
- Awesome adult-like community
Simply respect others and their work in game.. That's all we ask.

Wonderful server, it has been a great experience thus far and I do plan to continue playing here. I have enjoyed rather nostalgic game play in survival mode. It is fun to get back to the basics to build your base from the ground up! I should mention the staff are great as well, hospitable! All around a great server with lots of freedom to enjoy yourself. 10/10 would suggest to others.

How quaint, your build is very interesting and elicits an imaginative response. I quite like what you have built here.
Although -guilty of this myself- I would suggest using a bit more variety in your build. Just a few more block types should suffice.

Dr. Cryptid's Journal
Salutations Fair Maidens and Gentle-Chaps, it is my most compelling honor to introduce to you the story of Dr. John H. Cryptid.
Dr. Cryptid, once a professor, is a man of peculiar interest. He began his studies in Linguistics and moved furthermore into Zoology. While in the studies of Zoology he was an avid skeptic of all things unknown to science. Cryptii, as they called him, was in no hurry to believe that anything such as the Yeti or Loch Ness Monster could possibly exist. However, fate had a different plan for the poor chap. While on an expedition out in the pacific he came upon an island that Floated and was host to all kinds of Creatures and People that, "Shouldn't exist." This forever changed the view of old Cryptii, thus compelling him to seek out and discover all of the "Cryptids", as he called them, and catalog them in his Journal. This journal was becoming a great source of power and knowledge for anyone that could get their hands on it. Over time many bounties were put out to attain it. Gratefully, most attempts thus far have failed, this is until an unknown adversary joins in that could reveal a great amount about Dr. Cryptid's past.

Our Team
We are still looking for help:
Landscaping - I am looking for those who are able to use Worldedit/ World Painter/ MCEdit to make a landscape close to a specific location on earth and decorate it. Along with work with others to accomplish this task.
Story Plotting - I am looking for people who can come up with organized story plots for the map to assist in map making.
Building - Looking for those who are great at building houses and other small to large structures.
Redstone Wizardry - You do not have to be a master redstoner but you shall need to know how to hide your redstone work well.
This will be a team effort. You can all help one another and you should have multiple individuals in each category to help you. I shall also be there for help.
Also I should like to have communications through TeamSpeak so once you join the team I will help you get that program and give you the IP Address to my TeamSpeak server.
I shall also be running a Minecraft Server for you to build on, if you need a copy of the map for third party software editing ask and I will send you a copy.

"In the depths of the Himilayas, in a location withheld from common knowledge, is a valley cradled by mountains. This valley is peculiarly warm compared to its surroundings, almost tropical. A river flows down the middle, spawning from a waterfall high on the northern mountain, and it empties into a great chasm deep beneath Temple Mount. This is the valley of the Twalaroo. They have built their houses up and along the edge of the valley high away from the river. The houses were built so they only peaked out of the tree line. Large bridges stream back and forth, above the deep valley below, allowing cross from one side to the other. At the one end was the water fall with the King of the Twalaroo's home built around it and at the other was the temple..."
Many ages ago, in a land long forgotten to man's tales, myths, legends, and history, an island existed called Twinyor. This was no small island it was immense and nearly the size of Modern day Madagascar. On the Isle of Twinyor there was a people known as the Fiedor, a small and peaceful race. The Fiedor existed in silence and let little to be known to the outside world of their kinds ways. However, when war broke out between the other peoples of the Island the Fiedor fled. On their nomadic journey about the world they left behind pockets of Cultures in many locations, still unknown to man today. One of those cultures spawned from the Fiedor were the Twalaroo.
The Twalaroo are a good people, though devolved from their mother race, they are still quite advanced. They have retained all of the knowledge that the Fiedor left behind and have even stowed some relics left from the Fiedor Home village on Twinyor; you can tell they are very traditional. traditionally they have been wary of all visitors and Dr. Cryptid's Discovery of them was no different. Eventually the Twalaroo excepted his presence and deemed him a member of the clan, thus becoming dear friends of Cryptii.
The village will become a vital role in the plot of this tale, so watch as this unfolds in the first map we release.

I am fond of the shading that you have incorporated into the design, that is very impressive. I know when I began trying to work with Pixel Art I thought it was going to be an easy thing to do, but I discovered it is by far one of the hardest things to accomplish and do well in Minecraft.
I do not have much to say about improving it, but I would like for you to clarify one thing to me, what is the obstruction over the teeth? If it is skin should it be connected or should you do something to show it will come apart?
But most regardably, you have made a wonderful creation.

Your comments look very dull, yet I still read them. You individuals are rude and very disrespectful, you dishonor yourselves by attacking newer users to the forums, of which jgoul you havn't much room to speak for yourself.
Oh, by the way jgoul, I see you have created a map very similar to this that you have called shattered. Anyone could do something similar in worldedit in less than five minutes. You should look to your own work before you decide to attack someone else.
As for you maingan, you are a seasoned Forum user you should know better than to just hop on and insult someone in such a way. If you do not like the map or you think it is unoriginal just skip over it and go on. You do not need to cyber-bully anyone.
I am absolutely appalled at your comments, you two should be very ashamed of yourselves.
FireTornado, I am dreadfully sorry this is not my view on things and I hope you can stay around so you can improve on your Minecraft skills and show us your accomplishments. Also if I may, I believe if you make IMG lowercase, img, it will make the images appear.

Klif Means Cliff in english, I chose this due to the town being built on a cliff
Steinn Means Rock, this fits because most of the town is built of some stone.
Vik Means Creek, the town is built on a cliff overlooking what seems to be a creek.

Thus forth the name, Klenvik, came to be.
However I do quite like the village that you are building, it is quite nice.

Must this really be said? Honestly if you are not going to download this then skip on and do something else with your time. Posting that is not helping the thread owner one bit, he knows he is missing images and will be adding them soon.
